We traveled from Ottawa here in hope trying some authentic Sichuan food. We were not disappointed. The food was good as well as the service. I am really happy to see that there are still chefs who are passionate about introducing authentic Sichuan food to everyone. Some notes for the owner: I did find the food way too oily though. I am no stranger to Sichuan food, by the very contrast, I grew up eating Chengdu food. But even for me the oil in every dish we ordered can suffocated me. I didn’t feel well after finishing the meal. I walked in the neighbourhood trying to digest the heaviness in my stomach right after the meal, but I felt that I needed at least 2 hours of workout to get fully “recovered”. Other than that, as a person who always prefers food with less salt, I surprisingly found my dishes were lack of salt. I am not sure if it was just for that day or it has always been like that. The waitress served us with salt right after we asked, it is just a tiny detail that a chef might pay more attention to though. And I think the cucumbers in our dish Suanni Bairou would taste much yummy if they were buried underneath the meat. Last but not least, compared with Sichuan restaurants in Ottawa, it’s much pricey. We ordered two dishes and it cost us nearly 70 bucks, which almost doubled what we paid in other Sichuan restaurants in Ottawa. We feel it’s still worth it. Just a note here for others who are curious about the cost. In general, it’s a quite a good experience for us. We didn’t drive 40 mins here for nothing. I am told the chef is a Cantonese, and he did a decent job cooking Sichuan food. I also hope there can be more options, at least including some really classical Sichuan dishes like salad chicken and Fuqi Feipian, which are both missing from the menu. How could that be possible?!?!

Authentic Szechuan cuisine in reasonable amount and price. Popular among the local Western and Asian people. And also a good choice for tourists. French English and Chinese service is available.👍

Updated in 2023: Still amazing as ever. The server is TOP NOTCH. Everyone was so sweet. The food was authentic and amazing. If you buy three bowls of rice, you get free rice refills. Best service with amazing food. I didn't even mind if the food was a little pricey.

Called to place a pickup order. Employee who answered the phone was very friendly and food ordered was fresh and really good! First time ordering here, will definitely come back.

We ordered from here last night, the service was super quick, the food was so hot is was steaming! For people who order take out, this never happens. The Singapore noodles were so good! I’m already excited to eat leftovers, because the portions are huge! I’ll be eating Singapore noodles for days! My spouse ordered plate number 3. She did find the chicken fried rice was really bad. It was mushy, no green onions. I got the wonton soup and the broth lacked depth. The wonton filling lacked seasoning. But honestly, I would order again. I probably wouldn’t get the fried rice or soup again, but I could eat those noodles everyday, and likely will be due to the huge portion and I’m not mad about it.

The Szechuan food there is pretty authentic and the service is great. The decorations make it just like one of those restaurants back in China!

Very quiet place away from the main road. It has very good spicy Szechuan meals and they are not expensive. Staff is friendly and service is pretty quick. I only wish the portions are bigger for each plate

It was good, but be careful how you order! If you don't know how this buffet-style restaurant works, please ask your server. We were a group of 12 adults and were brought over 30 plates! They doubled all our orders even though we said we know it's usually one portion per table, but since we were a large group, we put numbers of what we wanted. So, of course, we had a bunch of food leftovers and were charged for it. 2$/person or 20$ for the table. It's really not much, but! We could've avoided it. I have to say though, our glasses were always full, they came to top our water every 15 ish minutes or less! The ambiance is fun as well. I recommend it, but maybe not for large groups.

Great food!! Went there with my cousin and his family from Sichuan. We all felt this was one of the best Sichuan (Szechuan) food you could get outside of China. Would definitely go back there again.
