It's worth the drive!. Gateau Neo is a small family run business specializing in cakes and their cupcakes. They also have a excellent selection of cake making products, pans, decorations, etc. We have ordered many themed cakes from a "Frozen" themed cake for my daughter's birthday to a "Napoleon" BBQ-themed cake for my 40th birthday. They are almost always up to the challenge to make you something worth marking an occasion.
They always have an excellent selection of ready-made cupcake to suit anyone's taste. I'm very partial to the raw-cacao (red-velvet) cupcake but, I have tasted many other flavours, all very good.
I have suggested to all my friends to go see for themselves when they come to visit in Aylmer. Many still make it a regular stop whenever they're in and around.
Their products (cakes, cupcakes) taste incredibly good and the designs are amazing! They are also affordable. Best in town!
We just love this place. We stop in for half a douzen cupcakes as a treat but we also order our birthday cakes here. We have never been disappointed and always had a excellent service.

I ordered a cake for my mom's birthday from Gateau Neo after a coworker had raved about their cakes. I submitted an online request and got a response directly after and we confirmed the order. I had described what I wanted in my online order but the finished cake was more beautiful than I ever would've imagined! I was in awe when I picked it up, and my mom absolutely loved it. She especially loved the bird cake topper Nathalie had made for the cake. The whole thing was stunning, and we appreciated the extra details like the added gold sparkles and packing the cake topper separately for easier transport. Of course the cake was also super delicious! Love, love, love everything about my experience and 100% recommend Gateau Neo!
Just WOW! First time I customize a cake for a good friend, we sent them an elaborate picture of what we wanted and we exactly got that! Not only that it looked amazing it tested great. You can choose the flavors and so on. When you call they are very friendly. TIP: If you don't hear back from them when you put your order online, just call them to do a follow-up and to make sure they understand what you want for no surprises. Very satisfied customer and the price are great.

I've purchased the mixed cupcakes they have available in the shop and have never been disappointed. I ordered Gluten Free with Dairy Free Icing for my husband's birthday and they were gone in no time! You definitely have to try the raspberry filling.
The absolute BEST gluten free cakes/cupcakes we've ever had (and it's hard to find good gf baked goods)! Our friends and family can't even tell the difference. The owners are very kind and and take pride in their creations. This place is awesome!
The cakes from this place are excellent! The icing is never overly sweet, the cans are moist, and the decorating is beautiful! We always order or cakes from here. The only negative is the email response time, but if you order enough in advance, it'll be fine.
Absolutely delicious cupcakes- decided to spoil my colleagues and everyone loved them. Everything from the icing to cupcake was spot on. Pricing is to be expected for a local bakery. This is like 100 steps up from anything you would get at Tim Hortons, etc. Super friendly staff as well, very personable to an English speaker. I will definitely be back!
Always a friendly greeting. Their daily cupcakes both delicious and beautiful. I have bought made to order cakes and they always do a beautiful job. You can also buy, decorations, cake molds, flavorings, etc. To decorate your own cakes.
We just ordered a Moana cake for my daughter's birthday and not only did the cake looked amazing, it tasted even more amazing. It was a wonderful experience from ordering to picking it up - excellent, friendly service and beautiful, delicious cakes! Highly recommended! The price was reasonable too.
i just recently had my wife's birthday cake made by Gateau Neo, the cake was for fifty people and it was AWESOME! I had them put an edible picture that i sent to them by e-mail, they added really nice decorations and the cake tasted just a good as it looked! The shop is ran by a family from Aylmer and they are all very nice and fun to deal with.

Very cute shop with nice cakes and desserts. They offer a lot of services for birthdays and marriages. I like all their flavors, but the cupcakes themselves are sometimes ppretty dry. Thats not too much of a problem though, since the frosting helps a lot with that. Since it's a small shop, their flavors of cupcakes are limited, but that's to be expected.
Excellent service. Requested last minute cake, they offered cupcakes instead due to the time constraint. The cup cakes were amazing!!! Truly a work of art.
I went today at 11am for the First Time. I ordered a dozen cup cakes. I came back in one hour and found waiting for me 12 INCREDIBLE looking cup cakes.
I got home and my family was not disappointed. DELICIOUS
