The sandwiches are excellent, the fresh ingredients and the collection of artisanal breads are the factors why this is my go to for sandwiches. If you haven't gone here, this is a must.

Best sandwiches in the entire region. The minestrone soup is also very tasty. This is a hidden gem for sure one block from the museum. 16 different sandwich variations. Highly recommended. Similar to DiRenzo in Little Italy.
Best Sandwich in the L'Outouais and Ottawa!. A popular place for the family to get a quick delicious bite to eat while one our way to Ottawa (picnic lunches by the canal made easy ), or on our way home (a very satisfying dinner when paired with their lentil soup). Many types of sandwiches to choose from; our family can't get enough of the #14 and the #16. Whichever sandwich you choose make sure to ask them to add some spicy eggplant...it takes your sandwich to another level! All their bread is delicious and shipped everyday from Art Is In Bakery. I'm partial to the potatoe and onion bread while the kids love the cheddar jalapeño and the hubby likes the multigrain. The lentil soup and tabouli are also winners.

One of the best sandwich's we've ever eaten!. We heard about this little hidden gem from a friend, so we decided to try it out. Now we're upset we hadn't heard about it sooner! $5.00 for a DELICIOUS and fresh sandwich, made with fresh daily Art-Is-In bakery bread (I got the jalapeno and cheddar and my boyfriend got the potato and onion), with your choice of meat (I got turkey and prosciutto and my boyfriend got chicken with spicy salami) and quality havarti or swiss cheese. We also decided to try the lentil soup, which was a touch on the spicy side as well as their fresh baklava. I would highly recommenced checking this place out. We will definitely be back, again and again.
I have enjoyed many sandwiches from La P'Tite Épicerie. The service is always fast and very friendly. Highly recommend for a lunch on the go.
Awesome. Quality ingredients on artisan bread makes for a fantastic sandwich. I had #18, with eggplant; the oil and spices of the eggplant added so much. At $5, it's well-worth it.

The small deli at the front delivers big on flavor! Reasonably priced, good portions, with fresh ingredients made on the spot.
The bread they use is delicious and perfect for deli sandwiches. Lettuce/vegetable are fresh and seasoned, leading to and excellent compliment for the meats.
The owner is very friendly and accommodating - if I lived in the area I would definitely eat here at least twice a week! Highly recommend!
The service was really fast despite there being a line. The sandwich is big, bread is fresh and soft, price is amazing for what you get and considering how much places are charging for a meal these days. It will be my new go-to spot for when I'm in the office and need a quick bite to eat. I'm very happy with it.
An amazing un-expected find! I must admit the sandwiches here are amazing! Filled to the brim and super tasty! The owner is a super friendly and funny guy making the atmosphere of this place unique. Now if you want to eat something with fork and knife not your kind of place. Overall though for the rest I highly recommend it!
Good sandwiches with good proportions of meat, cheese, and veggies (but how hard is it to make a basic sandwich - protip: ask for Dijon or regular mustard if you want it, otherwise, it's just mayo). However, my favourite item here is their daily lentil soup. I give this soup 5 stars. There is also a cool assortment of jarred condiments for sale that are Mediterranean and Middle Eastern. Lastly, there is ample patio seating during the warmer weather.

Delicious sandwiches. A good list of options, including vegetarian options. Reasonable price. In the summer, this would be a good place to grab a sandwich and eat it at nearby park. Friendly owner, who understood my broken French. There are tables and chairs inside, very minimalist. I would recommend sandwiches here.
Gosh this place is a hidden gem! I love the sandwiches here, so tasty and so affordable. They are very quick too! It is one of my favorite activities to grab a sando from here and picnic at the park.
Awesome place for large fresh made sandwiches. Went there on the recommendation of a friend while visiting the museum and was not disappointed on the quality of the sandwich from a friendly and helpful owner. Skip the overpriced museum cafe and slip over a block to support a great small business. They have lots of outdoor tables to enjoy the sun and your meal.
Wonderful sandwiches in a no-frills cozy unassuming atmosphere. Nice middle eastern groceries there for purchase as well. Sandwiches freshly made and thoroughly enjoyable. Lady behind the counter was very sweet.
This place is a Gem of a Sandwich Shop. Hassan is very friendly and his Sandwiches are well known to be the freshest and best around. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Affordable and healthy foods. A+ Service.

Pretty good deli sandwich served here. Lots of variety to choose from. They also have international groceries here. Mostly Italian food. Some Greek. Baklava is pretty good.

An absolute gem in the old city of Hull, I used to be a huge fan of The Old German Deli in downtown Ottawa, it's closed now and I was sad.
But "La P'tite Épicerie" is absolutely awesome and actually surpasses any sandwich shop I've ever tried, if you work in the old Hull or you're at the civilization museum, it's a short 5 minutes walk and the sandwiches are EXTREMELY GOOD....
