Review Restaurant Laspezia Cafe - Gatineau

We went there twice and had a good experience both times. They have a number of creative pizzas and a few other dishes. Entrees are also available like fried pickles. The only thing I would add was an odd discussion I had with the waitress and subsequently the owner about their advertised "20 ounces" beers. When my beer was brought the the table, it was poured in an European glass called a "demi". I'm very familiar with these glasses as I come from France. A "demi" refers to a "half liter", which equals to a little less than 17 ounces. I half-jockingly brought that up to the owner's attention and pointed out I was missing quite a bit of my 20 ounces of beer, to which he responded that "these were the glasses he was getting from the supplier. Not a great explanation really and I didn't get a top-up nor a larger glass, which in my mind would have been the right thing to do. This is not unusual for restaurants to "cut corners" on drinks/glass sizes but I thought this would be worth noting. Food was great. Venue is nothing spectacular but pleasant and cozy. There is a flat screen on the wall presumably for game nights. Washroom.could use a bit of love/organizing. Service was good too.

Great food, great prices. friendly staff and super cute place for a night out! Highly recommend for eating in or takeout. The pizza and club sandwiches are my go to!

I decided to walk here since it’s within my neighbourhood. I walked in and felt welcomed right away. I was surprised that they had booths which I love. I sat down in the booth beside the window. I ordered the chicken burger platter which comes with fries and salad. It tasted amazing! I would recommend this place! Great experience!

The food is really good! Very tasty and much better than any other fast food restaurant around! The first time I went there the service was great and very friendly, the second time I think the waitress might have just had a really bad day...

Just so casual, cozy, very decent food and GREAT fries... And the service is the best post - Covid you can possibly find! Wish there were more little places like this in the Aylmer area.

Our hyper-local restaurant of choice. We had paninis and Fattoush salad today and everything was awesome. The bread was delicious and the mix of flavours was just right. The service is always great and being local, they get to know their customers.

This is my favourite pizza in Aylmer/Hull. Delivery is always super fast and the eat-in restaurant is really cozy when you feel like going out. They have amazing home made garlic sauce and excellent lasagna.

After you conquer the slightly humiliating parking lot entrance (a.k.a. a hill), you will be served by a team what I would consider as "down to earth" and welcoming staffs. There's a waitress who sometimes works there and who always seem to be having a good day - I would be inclined to say that her positive attitude is rather infectious. Aside from the pizza recommendations, I would suggest trying an item embedded deep on the second page of the menu, called the "Chicken Parmesan Pasta". I can't comment on the nutrition value, but of the few times I tried it, it always seems to have provided me with enough satisfaction and comfort to get through my day. I can't quite explain why I would have a crave for such a hot dish during a heat wave, perhaps it contains some magic that might be worth your savor. As we continue to ride through the pandemic, I've come to appreciate some things, with this store being one of them. With a newly built patio, I hope this store will continue to flourish, and in return, provide good food, service, and experiences for the local community and more.

I've ordered here many times and not once was I let down. Food is amazing and fresh, staff is very outgoing and friendly and delivery is always fast. Great sized portions for the cost! I recommend this place to anyone looking for good food that doesn't disappoint.

Had my first first pizza from here yesterday. Very impressed and was delicious. The pizzas where perfectly cooked, nice spread of toppings and not greasy like others. Will definitely make this my local go to pizza place!

This place is so cozy! Also they have well priced delicious food. So far tried pizza, shawarma, fries, and gravy. All were quite tasty. The gravy was very good, will probably try a poutine next time I go.

Best place ever! I ordered and it came within 20mins which is the fastest I've ever gotten. Definitely my new favorite place to order and I completely recommend. Also the delivery person was really friendly

Well priced and delicious. No restaurant in the area is as consistent. Love them. Easily my favorite spot in Plateau.
