Absolutely outstanding food. Can’t pick a favourite dish as I love them all. Definitely recommend; it’s worth the trip. But don’t go if you want boring run-of-the-mill food. This place is creative and does fusion well.

1 ere expérience à ce restaurant et j’ai vraiment adoré mon sauté de poulet avec légumes et toutes les autres assiettes de mes collègues étaient très belles et bonne selon leur dire. J’y retournerai assurément.

Excellent restaurant !! Les sushi sont très bon et très bon choix de taps qui sont aussi très bon !!! La poutine aux fruits de mer est malade !!! Puis vous avez des choix de sushi que vous ne verez pas ailleurs !!
Went here for a date. Certain foods were better than the other. Portion sizes were good for date nights. Enough to try different dishes. The tar tar was good.

Easily one of the best Japanese restaurants in the ottawa/gatineau area, i would place haru closer to the top of that list, in my opinion they are only in competition with new generation sushi and another restarant for top 3 sushi bites in the region, and are ahead of the pack when it comes to asian food with a twist in the region,
Best restaurant in the Gatineau sector and certainly one of the best in the region. I love the makis, especially the dragon zen, as well as the calamari, the fried chicken and the octopus! Delicious!

Easy favourite. Finally there is great Japanese tapas-style cuisine in the Ottawa area. Haru Izakaya is easily on the top of my list for go-to Japanese food if you want fresh ingredients and tasty food but also want variety. The small plates menu allows you to try many different dishes without breaking the bank. Every dish that I tried was a clear reflection of the passion that the chef puts into his creations and was simply delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family without a doubt.
I would say this is the best sushi restaurant in the area! I enjoy a date night here with my partner at least once every two weeks or so because the food is EXCELLENT👌Specifically, food sources have always been quality and fresh. Must haves shown in the photos: tuna and seafood sushi pizzas, vegetarian role, knockout maki, cowboy maki, and mushroom beef

First time going there, service was quick and friendly. They make the rolls fresh to order and the quality of the ingrediants are amazing. The place is quite small so it can get busy quite quickly.. their creme brûler was smooth and super tasty as well.. they burned the sugar on top right before coming to the table so it was still nice and warm and crunchy! would recommend!
Visited the place today for the first time, my server was absolutely amazing ,nice and helpful! Recommended me a desert made with matcha and I loved it! The ambiance is smooth if you wish to go on a date this is a perfect place. It's really beautiful and CLEAN which is hard to find now a days. Some might complain about the price but honestly , if you choose the right dishes you could fill yourself up for less than 30$ and the food is well worth it. I tried multiple platters and I can definitely recommend the Fried Calamari, "saumon croquant" and if you enjoy a little spiciness I recommend the " saumon enflammé!

This is a cool place for sushi and delicious tapas. The menu is creative. We tried many tapas in their menu and love them all. The outdoor patio is also great! The bar is also a popular place for drinks and sushi. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The washroom is super clean too.
