Embe Bakery - Ganges - Photo album

Embe Bakery is a fantastic place to stop for a quick treat or a loaf of bread. The staff is always welcoming and friendly! One of my favorite spots to stop for a nice hot drink and some gluten free cookies on a rainy day.
I am sure that I’ve been going to the Embe Bakery every time I have visited Ganges in the last 40 years. Still in the same place. Still great food. Personal favourites include the butter tarts and the chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. Give it a try.
Nice selection of chocolates and breads, as well as a great hot drinks selection. Lots of parking. One of the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted. Would recommend!
It's not a bad bakery. The bakers get their early, so if you're awake at 4 in the morning, you can get an early cup of coffee there
A wide selection of baked goods and sweets. Unfortunately, some things looked stale when we went later in the day. Interior is a bit small, but there is outdoor patio seating. a pretty decently sized lot, and a bit on the edge of town, but still walkable from downtown core
The baked version of a bar of Gold! This quaint bakery of the edge of downtown Salt Spring is amazing. The workers are extremely friendly, and the food is even more delicious. We got an apple pie from the bakery for a friends birthday and it was delightful. The taste was smooth, just slightly tart
Pros: coffee is good and ice cream comes in generous portions Cons: we came on a Sunday afternoon and they were sold out of a lot of things. What was left looked and tasted stale. The pecan tart was mostly crust and the brownie was dry and disappointing
A very authentic bakery, quality baked goods. A great place to grab lunch.
