Review Koto - Fredericton

The food is amazing! Best prices anywhere. You have to try the short ribs and the chicken balls and spring rolls are the best in the city!

Excellent food great prices and huge amount did you know Chinese cuisine is an important part of Chinese culture, which includes cuisine originating from the diverse regions of China, as well as from Chinese people in other parts of the world. Because of the Chinese diaspora and historical power of the country, Chinese cuisine has influenced many other cuisines in Asia, with modifications made to cater to local palates. Chinese food staples such as rice, soy sauce, noodles, tea, and tofu, and utensils such as chopsticks and the wok, can now be found worldwide. The preference for seasoning and cooking techniques of Chinese provinces depend on differences in historical background and ethnic groups. Geographic features including mountains, rivers, forests and deserts also have a strong effect on the local available ingredients, considering that the climate of China varies from tropical in the south to subarctic in the northeast. Imperial, royal and noble preference also plays a role in the change of Chinese cuisines. Because of imperial expansion and trading, ingredients and cooking techniques from other cultures are integrated into Chinese cuisines over time.

By far the best Chinese in Fredericton. Good portions, good food good prices. My only complaint like a lot of other Chinese restaurants there is way too much batter on the chicken balls but well worth the visit.

To celebrate a friend's birthday we picked the meal for 4. The chicken balls were, as always, amazing. Sadly, last night all of our pork spring rolls featured almost raw pork. I unfortunately ate half of a spring roll before one of my dining companions uncovered the situation. It really put a damper on it otherwise great meal.

First time I visited them. Good food and generous portions. I will return again.

I have been here several time for dine-in. But today I come for take out order. The food is always good as it could be. My favourite dishes are Ika fried rice and Koto beef. The portions are more than generous. I will definitely come back. However, the parking could be tricky as the space is limited. The solution: parking at the Superstore or McDonald and walk over.

Very tasty asian cuisine. The portions are generous and everything has been very good. They seem to make things a little different than the other Asian restaurants and it makes their food standout. Orders for takeout are always ready on time and accurate. Staff is friendly.

Excellent food here and the times that I have visited the service has been very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. There are also vegetarian\vegan options. The serving sixes for Pad Thai was fantastic.
