This place is sweet! Lovely setting, nice atmosphere. Lovely genuinely nice waiters. Also has an outside dining area. The food is always on point. The artwork on the walls is up for silent auction, (I assume it changes regularly; it's never the same everytime I go in) I just love that! I will always recommend this place.
Side note: menu has some pretty fancey/nicely worded items that confuse me lol.
Our server Nicole was amazing! She made it easy for us to dine with our 3 month old daughter, had answers to all our questions(we had many) and gave great menu suggestions.
Food****
Chorizo burger = very tasty and well balanced. Side Soup was great. The pickled garlic scape garnish was delicious.
Haddock = fresh, super light batter and well seasoned. The fries were a frozen product but I hear they have plans on changing that.
Chocolate brownie cheesecake thing= I would have eaten the whole cake if they let me. I'm not even a dessert person, I am now.
Fantastic local beer selection
Beautiful local art
We bought a giant jar of pickled scapes on our way out.
Well done!
See you next time we are in town.
Kristin our server was fantastic. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The menu is unique. If you are a carnivore or a vegan and anything in between you can find great food at Isaacs Way. Ask if they have any raspberry sour cream pie and if so don't pass it up!!!
The food was excellent but it's the service that impressed me so so much. I'm on a no-carb thingy. My server helped me figure out how I could enjoy a meal by cherry picking from the menu. She got me a newspaper and when she didn't think I had enough light to read it, added more light in my corner. Little things.
I'd eat there again in a heartbeat.
Even though a busy week-end in Fredericton (with homecoming) this place pulled through! With no reservations the wait was not bad and the friendly staff kept us informed. Service was very good and the food even better! Good selection of menu items and all four entrees were very tasty and well executed. Overall a great evening...
We turned up 20 minutes early for our table, which is always a nuisance for the staff, since they can’t exactly hustle the people already there out! We were warmly welcomed and given a seat at the bar with drinks while we waited and a chance to look over the menu. Once seated, our food was ordered and arrived in good time, the service from all the staff we encountered was excellent, and the food was fabulous. We don’t go out a lot, so it was lovely to be in such a warm and friendly atmosphere - second visit, won’t be our last!
I only had one night in New Brunswick and I'm glad I came here! Betty was very personable and knowledgeable about local food and culture. The food is grow locally and made fresh daily. The restaurant is clean and beautifully located beside the water. The patio was gorgeous. I would recommend anyone looking for good quality food and a good hometown feeling to go here !😊 - came from toronto so it was the freshest fish I've ever had !
Best breakfast! I was so pleased with everything from great customer service, delicious food, food proportion on plate, and very fair price. And enjoyed looking at the art work.
My absolute favourite place to go! My friend and I visited Fredericton in April and decided to stop at Isaac’s Way for the first time and enjoyed the service. Once we returned in September, the same waitress remembered us and asked if we were visiting from out of town again! The sweetest! The food distinguishes themselves from other restaurants in Fredericton and is by far the best. Way to go, Isaac’s Way!
Great flavor combinations and a comprehensive fusion of cuisines!
We loved everything about it...ambiance, super friendly staff, interesting art and ...most important...very delicious menu. My favorite was the maple curry salmon with roasted vegetables served on a bed of rice and quinoa. I can still taste it.u
Food was good, service was great. Nice location and we ate on the patio :)
