Review 11th Mile - Fredericton

What a lovely experience! Love tapas/shareable style restaurants; definitely recommend a reservation during peak evenings. I went two nights ago and I'm still craving the food! It's nice to be in a restaurant where hospitality and quality of food is of high priority since after COVID has shifted the restaurant game. Feels like a trendy restaurant in dt Toronto but welcomed with friendly faces of Fredericton. Looking forward to my next night of cocktails and cuisine there.

An amazing meal with a mix of subtle flavours, rivalling some of the best eclectic mixes you would find in the greater cities. A clean and precise menu, enabling sharing that makes the entire experience even better. Quality ingredients, great friendly and personable service . Dessert to die for … try the peanut butter semi-fredo !!! the cocktails are a must to start with and don’t be shy to order seconds. Truly an amazing little bistro type of restaurant that can truly deliver a great experience! Thank you Peter / Jennie and team . We had a memorable experience!

The 11th Mile is without a doubt the best place to eat in Fredericton. The menu is unique and changes seasonally, and there are no bad options. The cocktails are excellent, and the service is really good. They have outstanding vegetarian and vegan options. Big city dining in a small city!

PEOPLE OF FREDERICTON: scroll no further. You have found the best place to eat in the entire city. Superbly prepared, expertly managed, professional and welcoming staff, laid-back atmosphere, great music, there is no way you could possibly have a bad experience here. You could order your food with a blindfold on and never regret it. 10/10, will probably be back tomorrow.

We had a lovely dinner, great cocktails and service - highly recommend the tenderloin carpaccio (so delicious!!)

This restaurant is a gem in Fredericton! We always come here to order a bunch of varieties and share with each other; that way, we can try everything they have on the menu. They also change some menu items occasionally depending on what we get for the seasons so it makes the experience even more exciting💕🥹and the cocktails game is real at 11th mile, make sure to stop by this place if you’re around in Freddy👌🏼

I've been waiting for months for a chance to get to Fredericton and try this spot. I can't wait to go back. The atmosphere and staff were lovely, and the food was a real treat. Beautiful presentation, incredible flavours and clever combinations. I love the familiar selection of dishes. Call ahead to ensure a table. There is a seasonal "sipping" container for groups, and small sit-up counter outside.

Had the best dinner with my family here, didn’t book a reservation but happy we got there early because people packed in as it got later. Each dish was made from extremely fresh (often local) ingredients. Highly recommend the house pickles, beef tostadas and the brassica for appetizers. The portions aren’t that big but the flavours are! For mains: The steak was a dream, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the salmon too, the potatoes that came with it had great flavour. The dessert was unique, out of the three, I’d say that the home made peanut butter ice cream was the best, but the olive oil cake came a close second. if you are too full for dessert, you’d have to get their coffee. We loved it. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great time. A must try in this small town!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the wonderful couple and staff that run this place! Everything off the menu is drool worthy and leaves you wanting more ( legit we have ordered the entire menu on more then one occasion to share with groups). The food, service, staff and atmosphere are beyond 5 stars. They also have the best cocktails in town with staff that help you find something you love!

Couple of observations from opening night: 1) These guys nailed the design of their space 2) Jennie knows a great cocktail 3) Peter knows and creates excellent food 4) Travis behind the bar makes a great cocktail and has better hair than me which I'm a little jealous of! Great addition to the Fredericton food/drink scene. Goes without saying the Bowman's will be back. Well done guys!! Great start �

The decor, the personalized service, the friendly staff.....all amazing. And then there's the food. Oh my, the carrot salad, the kale salad, the brandade, the olives, even the popcorn were amazing -but the gnocchi is out of this world. Thanks to Jen and Peter for moving back to Fredericton to realize their dream....

I’ve been thinking about Fredericton and food ever since eating at 11thmile.yfc this week. There are only a few restaurants that encourage me to leave my own kitchen, and which are swoon-worthy enough to leave a review. This restaurant is that. Amazing flavours, wonderful service, charming decor, and a big city vibe uncommon in Fredericton. A place you want to be your “secret” place, except you want everyone else to know about it so they can get in on the secret, too. This place is special. And I will be back. Soon.

We discovered this gem a month ago and I've been back twice already to sample more menu items. This is a restaurant where you can dress up or down and feel like your night will be special. There is great care for detail here, from the small twists of flavour in the dishes to the thoughtful cocktail composition. Fried olives with pork, chili, and fennel were a favourite, but we enjoyed it all. We also visited for the Broken Noodle pop-up lunch and were impressed with the food and the atmosphere - this is a restaurant with a commitment to investing in the Fredericton food scene. A seat at the back bar allows entertainment in the form of watching the immaculate food prep as it happens.

The food options are incredible! Unique and healthy options. Absolutely adored the pickled veg, the freekeh dish, and I don't think I'll ever stop craving the walnut butter. The atmosphere, music, and service was outstanding. Thrilled to have this place as an option in Fredericton!

I recently moved back to New Brunswick after 6 years away in Ontario, 3 years in Toronto. I thought moving to Fredericton would be a homecoming, but I feel a little lost in this new city. 11th Mile is my compass, bringing me pieces of my Toronto home. From December to now, I've eaten and drank there almost ten times, and every time builds on the last. The friendly staff, gracious owners, tasteful decoration, delicious sharing plates and yummy cocktails make for an amazing experience. I make a point to bring all of my visitors here. Thank you for helping with my homesickness, 11th mile.

We went for Sunday brunch and loved every dish! Highly recommend you go, order several menu items and share among your group. Cocktails were inventive and tasty! Service was incredibly attentive and friendly. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!!!

My husband and I went here for my birthday and loved the food and atmosphere. This is a great new place in the city. Beef and Brussels sprouts is incredible and the beef tostados are out of this world delicious! Highly recommend!

Had the opportunity to try the seared flank steak and was absolutely blown away. Highly recommend that everybody treat their taste buds to 11th mike cooking!

11th Mile serves innovative and fresh food that’s easy to share with a group or eat yourself. Their small plates shine, as do their cocktails. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

The 11th Mile is a great addition to the Fredericton restaurant scene. A true flavour experience. Had the seared trout and braised brisket - both delicious and cooked to perfection. Owners, Jennie and Peter are fun, friendly and engaging. Really enjoyed the custom designed features of the bar and overall atmosphere.

I’ve been waiting for a restaurant with a decent playlist played at a volume where I don’t overhear everyone’s conversation and where the lights are low enough that we still look good... I want to say an enormous heartfelt thank you for getting that right! It means a lot! The food was AMAZING and I can’t wait to come back! We were vegetarian and vegan at our table, lots to choose from and so flavourful- thank you.

Food was EXCELLENT and love the style, tasty craft cocktails and the staff and owners were a delight. Highly recommend for an evening out. Can't wait to return :)

Food and cocktails were excellent! I highly recommend setting aside preconceived ideas of what you like and don't like. My husband doesn't like olives but he really enjoyed the fried olives. Perfect place to enjoy with friends, or make new ones, during an evening out. High praise for the team!
