Review Caribbean Flavas Restaurant & Catering - Fredericton

I had a few hours to kill in Fredericton and I decided to go here for lunch. Best decision I made. The food was delicious, the owners were super nice and friendly. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!

I decided to try something different today, rather then getting the average burger and Fry. Wow am I ever impressed. I called in a take out order and was pleased that the man on the phone cared about what I wanted as a customer and even called me later that day to make sure the meal was satisfactory. When I got to the restaurant I was offered a tour because I was a new customer. I got to hear about all the great causes they support in our community and about the famous people who have eaten there; Sean Paul , Snoop dog and Leonard Cohen to name a few. The friendly staff there are second to none. Now for the best part , the food. Wow was I ever blown away by the variety of flavas. I ordered the Jamaican jerk burger with mango salsa and curry onion rings and decided to try the beef samosas with the spicy dip. Every bite was an experience , the onion rings were to die for. It was an on the go meal that left me wanting more . I will definitely be coming back to try something new off the menu. Thanks for a one of a kind experience in our tiny but beautiful city!

This is THE BEST restaurant in Fredericton. Every time I visit family from out west I make sure to go. Every dish served by Naz is honestly amazing. Ambience is awesome and staff is friendly and ready to explain anything. This is a must stop if traveling through Fredericton. It is closed Sunday and Monday be aware though.

Nice to have met the owners who understood exactly how to accommodate West Indian /Canadian. Ambiance was great. Food was sumptuous. Time was limited to make a second visit but will surely stop by again. Keep the "Flavas" going.

What a food, what a service?! Amazing place, extremely nice staff. I never thought that Caribbean food is so delicious. These people know how to amuse your belly. I definitely will go there over and over again, and each time I will order Jerk beef.

The worst part was trying to decide what to order. Excellent and personalized service from the moment I walked in to pickup my takeout. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Food was amazing and and a nice change of flavor. To top off the exceptional experience, a follow up call asking if I enjoyed my meal! That was first for me! Highly recommend you visit this local gem. I know my next visit will be in person. Until sometime soon Caribbean Flavas!!

It is so nice not having to cook for myself for a change! Enough for 2 OR in my case, 2 meals for 1. The slightly spicy lentil soup of the day and the Cajun southern fried chicken (Cry level of spice) with corn rice and coconut garlic mashed was exactly what I needed. The type of spicy that clears the sinuses, makes you sweat, and also feel amazing while still retaining flavour. Crazy spicy and super flavourful. They now only do delivery and pickup because of COVID-19, but they maintain a safe environment and to give you a little taste of their great in-house service, they even call you after to thank you and make sure the meal was great. THANK YOU Caribbean Flavas for being so great and reminding people of the many benefits buying local provide.

Relaxing vibe, welcoming host and chef, delicious food and coffee. A wonderful lunch experience all around :) They can adapt their menu for gluten-free needs as well; we wil be back without a doubt!!!!

The owners are so welcoming, excellent service. The food is simply Amazing, so is the coffee and the ice tea, definitly going again even though we live 9 hours drive away! Best restaurant experience ever!! Thank to the owners for everything!! See you again, The Quebec Team :)

Absolutely wonderful! Very warm and welcoming hosts with huge hearts! I would have recommended this place before I even tasted the food! Locally sourced meats from my hometown Sussex NB seasoned to perfection with authentic spices. My new favourite in Fredericton

Delicious food and friendly service. Our wonderful server, Zee, her very nice brother Naz, who contributed to preparing our meal, and their very friendly father , were all so welcoming :) We will definately be back :)

Dinner was great. Check it out if you are in Fredericton. Service was quick and lots of friendly conversation with the owners. They even made a simple meal for my son who is a picky eater.

Very happy with the service (personable!) and the food! The jerk wings were excellent! Spicy and flavourful. The stirfry was fantastic. Great presentation. Try Mama's iced tea. Such great reviews online, which are worth heeding! Check out the menu for all of the endorsements from celebrities. Wheelchair accessible too. The vegetarian/vegan options mostly involve substitutions of tofu for meat protein... We would definitely go back to try more menu items. Check it out

Literally the best. Naz and his whole family are so generous and delightful. I can't believe we lived in Fredericton for 3.5 years before eating here and then waited 4 months to return. It is one of my greatest regrets. Not only is the food top quality and legitimately spicy, but the service and atmosphere are unparalleled. Thank you!!

My husband and I dined in for the first time last night and we were more than impressed. We had an incredible chat with Naz about the history of the restaurant and everything they are doing beyond the restaurant (catering, meal planning, at home dining etc). We will be going back again and again! Thank you Naz and Papa Flava for having us into your home, the experience and service were second to none.
