Super friendly, casual. Good food for reasonable price. The salmon chowder and elk stew were reallt good. Ice cream and coffee also available. Very clean and comfortable place to sit.

We had lunch at lelem' at The Fort while visiting the heritage site. My husband had a grilled cheese and I had the Elk stew with bannock. Our food was ready quickly, delicious, and the portions were generous for the price. The young man running counter was friendly and attentive. We would definitely eat there again on a future visit.

I had my wedding reception at the fort and used Lelem in the fort for my catering. I was VERY disappointed!! There was not nearly enough food for my guests to eat and they resorted to ordering pizzas half way through my only 4 hour long reception. I have several allergies and food was made for me that didn't correlate with my restricted food items so I didn't eat much of anything at my own wedding. Jill is the person in charge of the catering; she is very disorganized (didn't know what my menu would be until a week and a half before th event after asking for it 4 times over the previous 2 months) and her rudeness was mentioned to me by many of my friends and family at the wedding. All in all I would SERIOUSLY recommend you DO NOT have your catering done by Lelem!! You will be wasting your money, I hope this helps someone's else's wedding from being harmed or damaged in the future.

Got to the Fort for First Nations activities, but AFTER PAYING learned that the in-Fort Lelem was closed for renovations ((late June 2018 - in tourist high season!,!...)). Love their food so had to backtrack to the other shop a mile away.
Post signs will ya!!
