Review Republica Coffee Roasters - Fort Langley

Amateur coffee roaster here and I love the raw beans Republica Coffee Roasters sells. Great quality, and free shipping that has often arrived the same day I place the order online. Best customer service I have ever experienced, ever, from anywhere, ever. Going above and beyond to answer questions, and to get me specific blends of beans I request that may not be available on the website to order, 11/10 service.

Have been coming to this place on and off for years and made it a place to stop each time I biked out to Fort Langley. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a very gradual dip in the quality of their bar drinks over the years which seems strange for a coffee shop like this. Maybe management change or just not as involved but sadly won’t be on my list of stops anymore. My last order was a flat white which is an off-menu item but still a fairly typical drink at any coffee shop. What I ended up getting was a very flat tasting coffee with hot milk, no foam and a weird aftertaste, something I’d expect from the Starbucks at the mall but not this place. Love the location and decor tho! Just not sure it’s worth it just for that :(

Fantastic service, such tasty coffees and delicious baked treats. This spot is in such a cute location, tucked into a little courtyard with murals and picnic tables. 100% worth a stop while you’re in Fort Langley

Cool little back alley coffee so. I don't want to pigeon hole them. But I only had tea there. The estitic was pleasing. My wife bought us tea so I can't comment on the service, but no complaimts from my wife. Love this town and anything such as a business that contributes to the feel is greatly appreciate.

Came in attracted by the amazing coffee aroma that you can feel from around the corner. Beautiful little place. Nice, friendly service. Perfect latte and excellent chai latte.

Amazing beans, freshly roasted in house and tons of variety. We tried the Spanish latte when we went in to pick up beans which is made with sweetened condensed milk. WOW. Mind blowing. There is a cute patio seating area in the alley that I am sure we will frequent when the weather warms up. Super friendly staff too!

Delicious coffee and great dairy-free alternative milk selection. The inside decor is cool and rustic. 4/5 due to the inconsistency between a Soy and Almond latte (which the milk was slightly overdone)

The rating on this coffee shop does not do it justice. I love this place. I buy all of my coffee from here. HUGE fan. I've had coffee from multiple rosters from across Canada and this one has grown to be my favorite. The local feel, the ability to walk in with my four legged friend, and the staff are all amazing. I buy nothing but republica and give it for all my Christmas presents for friends and family not from here. We all love and appreciate the coffee here so much!

Mike is a fan of brewing Republica coffee at home so we made it a priority to check out their only café.If you’re never visited this area, it’s a charming neighbourhood of beautiful old homes, small boutique stores and several historic sites. You can find Republica in this retail area by entering Gasoline Alley, which is marked by an arch tucked between businesses along Glover Road. There are a handful of businesses in this alley besides Republica.Upon entering, there’s a counter in front. To the right: shelves of coffee beans, syrup and some hand grinders available for purchase. This café feels odd in that it seems more like a storage area than a café. It looks unfinished with a ceiling covered in black plastic sheeting. Burlap coffee bags lie on the ground. The impression we get is it’s vaguely untidy. We ask ourselves if they’re in the middle of a major move.
