Fort Langley is a lovely little strollable community of antique stores, coffee shops and restaurants, knick knack stores and even some serious BC history. We generally avoid it on the weekends but its not so busy that you should be scared away! Little Donkey, one of said restaurants, is a place with a very nice story behind it. Check out their web site and read about Katerina and you will also want to visit this little family run restaurant. The food menu is simple (i.e. burritos) but there are enough interesting choices to satisfy most folks. To be honest, I have never been a big fan of burritos. I kind of expect to get a giant tortilla filled with rice and not much else but that was not the case at Little Donkey. Marie and I had a couple of burritos (they will also serve these things as bowls making them gluten free) and a Jarritos soda and were stuffed....but not with rice. We had a Fishmonger's Burrito which had a huge amount of tasty cod but was moist with salsa fresca, chipotle, tomatoes etc.! We also had a Currito Burrito which was mainly curried chick peas but with peppers, potatoes and other tasty bits (a vegan choice). It was an excellent mild curry. There are hot sauces at your table if you want to sweat! Little Donkey is an eclectic mix of tables, chairs and counters for eating and interesting what nots including an old timey record player and record collection. You can sit comfortably and watch the world go by through big windows or enjoy the soundtrack. We heard some Creedence, some Grateful Dead and Police and the music just seemed to top up the experience! Order at the counter and one of these friendly folks will deliver your food and drinks to your table. I am really happy for Katerina and her family. I think they have a good thing going here!

Please note that at the time I posted this blog, there was a Zomato rating of 2.9. The math on the rating is completely wrong. The real rating based on 11 reviews could not be anything less than 3.9 or 4!

Such a neat little place, true fort Langley style. The menu is small but the burritos are tasty. Quick service, very simple. The prices are right.

Ambiance is great, and burritos are even better! I can't even choose a favourite since they are all so good! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often! I tell all of my friends to take a visit whenever they are in the area though.

I've been there many times and have got to say that these are the best burritos I've every had!!! The staff is really friendlly, and decor is cool too. It's a great spot to sit by the area that opens up completely to the outdoors and enjoy craft beers, wine, great tasting Margaritas or Sangrias while chowing down on delicious burritos or picos and salsa. Fort Langley definetly needed a place like this!

Had the new Currito Burrito which is the perfect blend of curry spice and other delectable ingredients. I'm hooked and will be back again and again! Keep up the great work Little Donkey!!!

I have officially tried every burrito on this menu and they are all INCREDIBLE! The pico and chips with the sangria are mmmm mmm good. I think my favorite burritos are the Little Donkey and Fishmonger. I always get a side of chipotle because it is made in-house and is fantastic, but there is also a variety of hot sauces available to use too. Love this little gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Truck IPA on the patio with pico and chips and the Bedford Landing burrito (pulled pork), great afternoon! The burrito was actually light tasting with the pulled pork and coleslaw filling. We'll be back to try the other offerings. Wish there was a chicken option that wasn't Greek as that seems a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant.

Can't get enough of this place!!!!!!! The flavors were bang on, from the burritos, to the pico, to the drinks! It's great that they have vegan options and gluten-free options, as every friend I have taken has been able to eat here.
The staff and choose-your-own record are fantastic too! Amazing job, you were so needed in Fort Langley, as everything there is either a sit down restaurant or a coffee shop.

Service was excellent and fast, beer was a great price at $5 a pint! The burrito was excellent but at $11 it was a little on the small side. Burrito was all fresh ingredients.

Little Donkey is consistently delicious! This is a go to for me when I want quick food. The atmosphere is nice and the service is very friendly. The food is top notch for flavor, freshness and presentation. I love to get my burrito without the wrap as a bowl.

I was recently shown this place by my coworker who worked in Fort Langley. He promised that I would be impressed and even with my standards I was. My go to is the Burrgito burrito. Portion size is good, and prices are as expected for Fort Langley. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a good filling lunch.

Best burrito place in ALL of Canada. Food here has a good price, the interior design is amazing, I love the variety of drinks you can pick, the location is really nice, the staff are also really nice and patient, and the overall taste was indescribable. I would give this 6/5 stars if I could.

Was alright. Ordered the vegetarian dragon race. Wrap was dry. More sauce needed. I also don’t understand the “veggie tax”. Why is a wrap with no meat or cheese the same as one with meat, rice and beans. Perhaps I will try this place again in a couple of months. I liked the patio seating.

Amazing modern atmosphere! The staff are super friendly and professional. They appear to really care and are genuine. The Burritos are amazing! Food is Fresh, tasty and priced well. Portions are good size, not too big, just right. Overall it’s an enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. I took my kids there and they loved it! I enjoyed the music and the feel of the place. They have a record player and you can choose your music, which I thought was pretty cool. Nice little place with a big heart.

Cute little place just off the main drag. The pulled pork burrito was great, but the sangria wasn't the best. I'd try it again if I were ever in the area

Cute little place inside Fort Langley. 2 patio seats available, but there’s also plenty of benches nearby if the seats are full. Quick, convenient and contactless service, with hand sanitizers readily available everywhere inside. My order: Little Donkey $13: beef brisket, beans, chipotle & brown rice. Pretty “standard” burrito, nothing special, but you can’t go wrong with this. Strong taste of beans, and the meat is a tad bit dry. The Fort $13: main highlights consist of chicken, tzatziki, and lemon potatoes. This was hands down my favourite, and it was great with the Valentina hot sauce packets (on the tangy side, not super spicy to me). Good portion too. Highly recommend this one.
