Review The Flying Spatula - Flesherton

My career has me travelling a lot and when I find a gem it will become a favourite. This place is one of those gems. The first time I ate here was last summer, I was hungry and just needed coffee and some sort of nourishment. To my surprise, this little roadside restaurant met my needs and more. I’ve been back many times and I’ve never been disappointed. Great place, awesome staff, wonderful food.

Hot turkey sandwich (bread on the side). Always great food. Service was quick and friendly.

Went for the first time and kicking our selves we waited! We each had a different burger with fries and yam fries. The best we have ever had!!! Can't beat the price either!!! We saw the wings come out and they were huge!! Will have to try that next time. The deep fried mars bar was unreal! So was the home made icecream sandwich and coconut cream pie! We will be back for sure!! Don't ever change the way you cook!!!!

Stopped in at the suggestion of a friend that we were visiting in the area. Everyone at the table got something different, everything was fantastic. Don't forget desert. Their ice cream sandwiches use homemade rhubarb ice cream and is sandwiched between two gingerbread cookies. The rest of the deserts, also home made. I ate way too much. Brunch Buffet on Sundays. I would have loved to have tried that...

Make sure you get there early if you intend to try their specials, they will run out. This place is worth the stop.

We tried this diner for the first time about a month ago after moving to the area and after that first visit we have been regulars. We frequent the Sunday brunch because the food is great, Greg makes an excellent omelette and his staff is wonderfully welcoming and helpful. I especially love the fact that they remember your name and great you like a long time friend. I give them 5 Stars because they’ve earned them from me.

Nothing but great food & great service at this little gem in the rural community of Grey Highlands. The Sunday brunch offers a wide array of flavorful dishes, including a custom omelette station (check website for brunch schedule). Spacious booths and cozy-casual vibe make this spot a great space to meet up with friends or just spread out with the family. Menu features vegetarian options. Personal menu favourite: Chickpea Coconut Curry. Ask about their chef prepared frozen meals!

The food is way better than the atmosphere. But I'd rather have good food anyway
