Incredible food, charming atmosphere, and friendly staff. Hands down some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. Will be back!

Had an amazing meal from start to finish. Even on a busy night we didn't feel rushed and the service was outstanding. Can't wait to be back again.

We’ve been here a few times over the summer as they have a nice, big, fully covered patio. Food is always delicious and plentiful! Definitely recommend!

Incredible food with an ever-changing menu and focus on local, fresh ingredients. The smoked prime rib is amazing - but everything Shawn makes is good! This was our first dinner out during the pandemic and we trusted the protocols and the staff. We've also regularly picked up meals to go. You get so much food for the prices, and its always delicious.

Admittedly we had high expectations. We went for brunch. Great atmosphere! Average service. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. The one real issue was the fried oyster po-boy sandwich. It literally tasted rotten. The chef seemed put off by the feedback and claimed they are made with fresh Ontario oysters. I thought oysters necessarily come from salt water, but I guess you learn something new every day?

Great Breakfast. We drove all the way to Eugenia to check this place out - it was totally empty but felt cozy and comfortable on a snowy afternoon. The food was awesome and affordable.
There is also a waterfall down the street, just a beautiful place to discover on a lazy Sunday.

Yummmmy and fun. The Flying Chestnut smacks boring bland eating in the face - figuratively and literally. Among the creative aspects at TFC, a figurine of KFC's Colonel Sanders has been very appropriately used as a door stop. The Colonel gets a subtle smack in the face with the arrival of every guest. Similar to the decor, the meal had flavours and tastes in such great diversity, which where fused together with perfection – it was amazing.

Tucked in a cozy board and Baton building in Eugenia we came upon the flying chestnut kitchen. I heard about it by word of mouth, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It impressed me on so many levels. So pleased we have something so unique and amazing in the area. Not many seats! So it's good to book ahead. Every bite was truly a sensation, my taste buds were dancing. Rustic, flavourful and beautifully presented. Great atmosphere. Seating is close but comfortable with other sounds going on. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Great Food, Music and Atmosphere!. This place is an off-the-beaten-path favourite of mine. It is a country restaurant serving upscale home cooking. Everything is made with love.
The live music on Fridays is always fantastic. Make a reservation because the seating is limited.

Incredible!!!. Venturing out in snowbound Grey County to the inimitable Flying Chestnut Kitchen in tiny but picturesque Eugenia, Ontario...little did I know I would not only have the most incredible dinner special ever but I would catch a great show afterwards...the dessert this evening was a live performance by the one and only Petunia...a minstrel in the truest sense...I learned there are first-rate live shows by touring independent artists/bands on Friday evenings. Chef Shawn Adler et al are to be commended on creating the finest restaurant Grey County has to offer. The food and the atmosphere are beyond compare. Bravo. Merci mille fois!

The one dish that stood out for me was the Cress salad. Yes, a salad. But just in case you have any thoughts of me becoming a vegetarian, rest assured; I simply loved the Bison Bone Marrow Croutons, they were absolutely delicious, and incredibly crunchy.
