Review The Central Tavern - Elmira

The experience of Burger and Fries stepped up. In out the cold to a bar / restaurant pub type establishment with thought of not knowing , I came out satisfied and with a welcome feeling and totally full. To say I was not sure of what to expect is a understatement but now I know where to go for a great Burger and conversation with a reasonable price. With the care taken and concern as if the young man was going to consume this meal himself , I was overwhelmed by how much attention to detail it was delivered with . Prep of various meals such as pizza , wings burgers and multiple small town delicacies leave me to believe its a must go must even stay for nighttime entertainment. I encourage you while in the small town of Elmira to stop in . Much and such a pleasant surprise. I will return and bring friends so they also can bost.

Went last night for wings+nachos. We just moved to town. LOADED nachos with so much cheese!! Loved that. Wings were pretty good. Can't wait to try other food items.

When we got there, they took our order quickly, but then service slowed down after that. They were suppose to ask us what were on our nachos, but they forgot and we forgot and when we inquired about it 5 minutes after we ordered, we were told, "to bad, you will have to just pick the stuff off". Nachos were overloaded (rarely would say this) and did not have a nice chip to topping blend. My friend ordered a burger thinking it would come with fries, but it didn't. Also served on a paper plate. The owner was fairly nice, but our waitress was seeming like she was having a bad day.

They have some of the best wings I've ever had, and their nachos are really loaded. The bartenders are all super friendly and they are *really* good at making shots; overall it is one of my favourite places to go to from now on!

Fist time here and I was impressed. Draught in ice cold mug . Had the wings. They were plentiful AÑD meaty . The nachos were briming with toppings. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu . This place had a lot to offer for a pub/bar. Check this joint out, you won't be disappointed.

The place is run down and very unorganized, the waiter didn't really seem to want to be there, and the wait was extremely long for simple food (just over an hour), and when I dug in I realized my chicken burger was raw. A very interesting experience to say the least

The woman behind the counter told me to get the wings because they were very good. I was not impressed. They were very plain, which is very unacceptable since I ordered suicide flavour. Not one sip of water was needed from the start of the first wing to the end of the last wing. Had I ordered medium or hot I could have tolerated this but I would have expected suicide to at least cause a sensation or two on my tongue.

Wings were awesome I don't think there was a server the bartender just did everything looked pretty young and he definitely needed a paper and pencil but for a bar it was pretty good!
