This is such a beautiful spot along the BC coast. I stayed in a Dome Tent and loved every moment. Waking up to a full view of the ocean was spectacular! The food at the Backeddy Pub was great and to top it off there was a wonderful local entertainer who was fantastic to listen to. The staff are super friendly and definitely more than happy to help make your stay the best ever! I highly recommend checking the Backeddy Resort out for a great BC get away!

Amazing place!!! Super friendly staff & fabulous food in the restaurant/pub with vegan options available. We stayed in a dome & we loved it! Super cool feel to them with a view of the marina, & power outlets are provided. Bed & bedding were both very comfortable. We will be going back next year for sure.

What a beautiful location! I stayed in a dome for 2 nights and was so glad i decided against a room or cabin as i was concerned about being cold at night on the waterfront, since I've no experience in a tent. How silly of me! Super cozy bed and bedding, lovely sitting area inside and a small heater and fan supplied-just in case. Yes i woke up both mornings at 5:30 or so to the birds then the sun coming over the mountain a bit later, but what sights and sounds to wake to! I brought a small kettle, coffee and oatmeal as the pub doesnt serve breakfast on weekdays and is not open until much later. There is an extension cord to plug into so i didnt feel completely disconnected... Wifi is really spotty but why would you want to be on the phone anyhow here? I had a fantastic time hiking to Skookumchuk Narrows (i was gone 4 hours walking and dawdling) and and riding around the area. If you're on a motorcycle like i was, the drive way down and park area is hard packed gravel. Thanks so much Peter and your staff for being really great and welcoming. I didnt want to leave but I will see you again!

We love this place!!! We stayed last February and fell in love with it. Had been to the pub several times but never had the opportunity to stay. The cabin is cute, cozy and even has a kitchenette. It is so nice to wake up to the view of the marina and the ocean. We took the boat up the inlet and it was breathtaking!!! There were so many coves, beaches and inlets to see and relax at! We only saw two other boats on our 8 hour trip. It was exactly what we were looking for peace & quiet! It was absolutely amazing, just the two of us! The pub is great and good food! My favorites are the crab cakes, chowder, calamari and the prime rib dinner on Friday! They know how to make a great Caesar too, I like mine extra hot, extra spicy and they nailed it!!! So if you are looking for that hidden gem place to stay or visit, you have found it, don't look any further. You won't find any place more tranquil and with such beauty surrounding you, anywhere. We will be back in February, already booked and can't wait!!!!!

We've stayed in a yurt before and thought this may be similar, but it far exceeded our expectations! We arrived late and it was very dark outside. We found our key at the reception and moved our bags in. The interior was resort-like and the outside had a cute little table and chairs. We stargazed for a bit then head to bed. We were worried about the noise from the other domes but that really didn't effect us. We woke up with a gorgeous view of the marina and loonies, towels, shampoo and conditioner for a shower. The staff, even though we only had a brief conversation at check out were beyond friendly and helpful. We posted pictures when we left and our friends and family all can't wait to come experience this for themselves. We will definitely be back again!!
