Meat prices are less according to other grocery stores, also their fruits and vegetables were fresh. They have collection of frozen fish items.
I'm not a fan of seafood and they have a huge Selection of seafood. The seafood has very pungent smell to it of which I am not a fan. But if you can get past the smell of seafood this is a great little supermarket. It doesn't matter if you are Chinese or black or white this is the best place around to get your meats and fresh vegetables. The meat comes in good sized portions and is very fresh but best of all it is remarkably affordable. Same goes for their veggies. The staff are friendly and helpful. Evan the parking is easy and they always have enough tills open to get you through quickly.
Went in for my ramen refill while in town. As always it was clean, staff helpful as well as cheery and some new products to try. For the chocolate lover I recommend trying : Oishi - Pillows (Choco-Filled) crackers, kind of a take on mini wheats but filled with delicious flavour and CRUNCHY.
Asian store for Asian people or kind of unique stuff is available and employees at till are every polite and respectful. If any one who is non vegetarian will get vast variety of various meats. Today was my first visit there and I will recommend and personally going to visit when ever I will be near by.
Ahh... Lucky 97.. The capital of Chinatown. It's a great supermarket carrying everything you could need. It's not just for Asian people, everyone goes to Lucky 97, all ages too
This Canadian based grocery store specializes in products from all over Asia such as Vietnam, China, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Thailand, etc n some. The store is clean n comfortable, with friendly atmosphere. Though many staff do not speak English the best, they do try their best to be helpful with getting your desired products. There is also halal meat and an exceptional large variety of seafood both fresh n mainly frozen. It would have got a 5, but the unwrapped produce is not all the freshest.
One of my go to asian supermarkets in Edmonton. I go there mostly for fresh halal meat and pretty good collection of fishes. But downside to this is that you get slapped with a smell upon entering the store. You also get produces that you can't find at any other supermarkets, like some spices, asian vegitables, asian products in general. Prices for regular products are set a bit higher than other big stores like Walmart & Superstore. All of the cashiers that I've met were pretty friendly and nice.
Located right in the heart of China Town Edmonton. This grocery store carries a wide variety of product's mostly Imported, Sea foods, Halal meats, and other meats products and local groceries ,vegetables fruits etc. Lottery also sold here they also served hot food which was prepared on daily bases overall a good grocery market around this neighbour HOOD.
I just come here to buy bread for my mom. The price is cheap and I come here for the different cuts of meat you wouldn't find in other stores.
They have a great selection of seafood.
They have a large selection of Asian herbs
Bit expensive for everyday, white people things but I know they have great deals on mostly everything else, amazing selection of beautiful and authentic cooking knives. If you're ever looking for a rice cooker, this is your place!
