Grabbed a couple of falafel's to go. Before my wife turned vegan we use to order the best donairs here. Loved them. But the falafel's are so good I forgot about the donairs. BTW the fries were tasty, how often does that happen?

Went there the first time and ordered a small cheese donair and zucchini sticks. The donair was pretty tasty but the zucchini sticks weren't much to write home about and got very soggy when they were cold. I really want to try the onion ring donair poutine though, it looks very intriguing. They also have a variety of veggies to put on your donair.
The restaurant was clean, prices fair, and the staff was very friendly. I will be returning.

I often go around trying different local places for a good Donair. I tried the sub here and asked for the meat to be crispy. It was served exactly as I wanted, and as if I would have done it myself! Just this will make it come back again!!

To me, the best place for donair poutines in Edmonton. That gravy is nice and thick, perfect amount of cheese, but it's also in the details: after frying up the ribbons of well seasoned meat and the fries they mix it all up before packaging it. That sweet sauce is nice and smooth too. I've been to a lot of donair places in Edmonton -- especially the well known ones, but Home Styles takes the cake. If you're craving some donair -- especially the donair poutine, it's well worth the drive.
Pro tip: ask for your fries well done for that extra crunch :) and get that extra sweet sauce on the side for maximum flavour!

Stopped in for a doniar on my way to work. First time I've been there. Got a large cheese donair combo and the doniar was one of the best I've had in years. If you love donairs tusi is definitely a place to try.

My first impression was that the restaurant looked outdated and just old in general, but still decently clean inside. I decided to give their donair a try. The donair was shockingly good despite my first impressions. The meat was cooked perfectly and wasn’t dried out, vegetables were fresh, pita was soft and the sweet sauce was thick. Il definitely eat here again if I’m in the area.

Don't even talk to me about your one time bad experience at this place..... I've had one or two, But they always get me back. This place is THE BEST Donair (BY FAR).
The meat and the sauce can't be compared to other places, they make it juicy and delicious...and the size is ENORMOUS! YOU CAN'T FINISH a regular size!
I've had a bad costumer service a couple of times but the owner always make it right when he's there!
For real don't even compare this place it's a real Hidden Gem.

I go here often. Food is amazing and massive portions. I feel like if the main guy (probably the owner) is not in working. That the quality drops a little. Using older donair meat that must have been cut a while ago. It still taste good. But nothing beats fresh cut meat.

Have you had alot of donairs? Do you enjoy trying new places in search of the best doanir out there but hate when you get badly disappointed? Won't happen here, the food is great. The staff's understanding of the techniques and processes required to produce top level donairs and donair poutine is always on display. Lost a star for cleanliness, your store deserves some tlc.

Wow! Fresh vegetables you can pick your own. The meat is off the spit, none of those same shape slices. Very nicely seasoned meat and good quality service. I'll be back tomorrow!

Seriously my favourite place to go!! I don't eat out as often anymore but if I do I prefer homestyle. Sweetest service ever, and food is filling and delicious! If you're coming here, don't forget to tip, kitchen work is hard and demanding work.

They got good Donairs. Only reason I didn't go 5 stars is I was in there Sunday lunch time and we ordered a large donair and a regular donair with cheese. I ended up getting 2 regulars, (hopefully I wasn't charged for a large.) Also my brother ordered a flamin mac donair and they didn't make it hot at all, otherwise 5*

Fast service woah! A little bit pricey, but over all this is a good donair. Had a chicken donair with garlic sauce. I think the only thing I would say needs work is the garlic sauce. It’s slightly flavourless (more gaaaaarlic :-). Other than that I think I would try again sometime.

Love this place...the fact that it is so close to home just temps me every time I drive home. Great donairs, pouting and reasonable prices. (Only dislike is how they charge for extra sauce in donair poutine). Other wise tasty donairs, poutines and platters. If you are in the area this is a must visit.

Mundane.<br/>Another "notch in my belt" on my mission to sample every donair E-town has to offer.<br/>Staff were...friendly enough I guess. Place was clean enough. WWE wrestling on TV...<br/><br/>Ordered a regular donair. At ~$9...pretty standard. Portion size was reasonable.<br/>Meat was juicy and seasoned fairly well. Veggies seemed pretty fresh.<br/>Points lost for some of the worst "sweet sauce" that I've never tasted...and could barely tell was applied. I had a cup of garlic sauce on the side ($0.50 extra). It tasted...ok...but was so thick and pastey I couldn't really get it into my meal.<br/>Alas...if this were my local shop...I would eat abroad.

Wow.. I don't get it, 81%??? I tried it based on the rating.<br/><br/>I should have not even entered. The door was not exactly see through. The ceiling and walls were filthy. Still working on the percentage I took a look around and since the kitchen area seemed to be clean enough decided to give it a go. After all a lot lot of places with great food are not always pretty. I decided not to stay just to be safe.<br/><br/>I ordered the falafel. There is a very old and endearing joke about awful falafel. This was the one and only truly original awful, actually I supect it was not falafel. Overcooked, tasted horrible. On the bright side the veggies were fresh.<br/><br/>I will not be going back. A visit from AHS might not be remiss...

Seriously The most disgusting sorry excuse for a donair I've ever had, went in there after work the guy running the till doesn't say anything. I order and Tip and still nothing (at this point I already know I'm not coming back because of service) he then precedes to start my order I look down and he is wear flip flops in the kitchen. Highly in sanitary, order up I leave then get home and open up this sticky soggy messy blob of meat and sauce. Just tossed it out didn't even bother. Just up the street prime time donair blows this place outta the water, drive the extra 5 minutes right passed home style and save your money.

This place has gone from the best to the absolute WORST.. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be the best donair I have ever found, but now, I will NEVER go there again. People in the food industry should serve food that they themselves would eat. Nobody that works there would eat the garbage I was served. Ridiculous. The people that took over this place, after the original owner left, are horrible. Talk about cutting corners for profit, and sticking it to the customer. What has this country turned into? Corporate greed prevents even a decent donair from being sold. It's a donair, not an opportunity to make as much empty fiat money as possible. The food I paid hard-earned money for went straight into the garbage, along with any hope that I had of this country being a decent place to live any longer. Canada is nothing but little 'Murica. A country where empty fiat wealth rules all, quality of products and services is extinct, and human life has absolutely NO VALUE.

Good donairs but the portion size is disappointing for the price you pay. Used to be a great place and friendly. I hardly ever see the owner around any more and some of the staff don't seem to share the same passion he once did.

This place was going downhill for a while, but now it seems to be getting better again. Nice selection of chicken or beef donair dishes, but I always get beef. Portion sizes very good and prices are reasonable. Very tasty donairs.

Once one of the greatest donair places in Edmonton, now just another average donair place. I was a fan from the day it opened, they had fresh ingredients, tasty meat, and the best hummus I had ever had in my life. I honestly can't say it's ever been the same since about 2009, but maybe I'm just living in the past. It's close to my house, but I'd still rather drive to a donair place further away because this just won't cut it most of the time.

If you like variety, Homestyle is a good place to go. They have chicken and beef option, sweet and tzaziki sauces, and tons of veggies. The portion are great, with a regular being a perfect size for lunch. The beef is a bit spicy. All around, I give Homestyle a 6.5/10

One of the best!. This is probably one of our favorite spots to go for a donair! The poutine is also very good and portions are huge. Only complaint is the donairs could use more sauce, easy fix- just ask for extra!

Finally found a good donair!!. This place is awesome! I had yet to find a donair I liked since moving from the east coast more than 2 years ago. I love how they slice their meat thin, to me that is how a donair should be!<br/>I would definitely recommend them.

Used to be better. This place has always been a fav. But lately their donairs have been not that appealing. When I went the other day, the donair meat was undercooked and cold. It was in thin strips that wasn't too tasty. Also the service wasn't that great. The girl was very rude and seemed like she didnt wanna be there. Still gonna give this place a shot though

Overall pretty good. Pros:<br/>- very friendly staff<br/>- fairly cheap (around 7$ for a regular donair)<br/>- good location, just off the 34st whitemud exit<br/>- definitely get your money's worth, portions very big!!<br/>- sometimes you will get a sample of donair meat while waiting for your donair<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>- charge extra for cheese<br/>- meat is sliced very thick and not as flavourful as other places

I have been going here for aroun 3 years, recently moved to the south west of Edmonton, I have driven out a few times just for a Donair. They are hands down the best donairs in Edmonton, the service is awesome, and you really get your moneys worth. Highly recommended.

Mmm, Homestyle Donairs, not going to lie, they're not the best donairs out there, and they're definitely not the prettiest. But what you get will definitely be worth your money. What makes this place worthwhile is that they don't skimp on anything. By the end of picking your toppings and sauce, when it comes to rolling it up, the result is something that looks like you trying to put on jeans that you kept from 10 years ago. One thing to try is the tzatziki sauce, it goes very well with their beef donair. And make sure you're eating this over a plate and have lots of napkins on hands, its going to be a delicious messy feast.

AAAAAmazing. Hands down. THE BEST DONAIRS in the city. There is NO competition. I know several people that drive from all areas in edmonton to get these footballs. Also, i only know I few who can actually finish one....these babies are massive!!! Great services and I love the meat sample they give you while you wait for your oder.

Come starved... The donair's here are massive and delicious, as is everything else. Do not expect to finish an order of fries or onion rings yourself, not if it comes with anything else off the menu.<br/><br/>That and its all good food. I drop by regularly too because they are right around the corner from my place.

Greatest...donair....ever..... I dont think there is even a competition, this is bar none, the best donair i have ever had. <br/>i have had the beef, the chicken and the mixed, i have never been dissapointed no matter what meat and what sauce i get. anyone who i know who has tried this place agrees with me.<br/>once you have this donair, you will always want this donair.<br/>its the bench mark for donairs.
