BEST BEEF SATAY IN EDMONTON HANDS DOWN, and I’ve tried most of them! Broth is amazing and the beef is fork tender. Try it and tell me I’m wrong :) pho hoan pastuer is second
This place is easily one of my new favorite pho places in Edmonton. I was near West Edmonton Mall and was craving pho, decided to do a Zomato search and found this place! It has very fair pricing, great portions and fresh tasting pho. If you are in the area, give it a try!
This tasty food I eat at least 3 times a month. I always have the vermicelli bowl. It's delicious. The service is fast and polite. Prices reasonable.
Amazing, we get the 4 color bowl at least a few times a month, and often the green onion cakes.
The mango bubble tea with leechi is delicious too!
This is my girlfriend and I's go to place for pho. We have been to many different pho restaurants in Edmonton, and this hands down is the best! Quick, tasty and well priced....you can't go wrong.
I've been here a couple of times and it was good. It's pretty comparable to other pho places in terms of selection and prices. I ordered what I usually order when I go to new Vietnamese places, the Bun Bo Hue. It was good, not overly spicy but still has a kick to it. Restaurant has plenty of seating and we didn't have to wait too long for the food (went during lunch hour on a weekday).
This is my go-to place in the callingwood area! The owner/ woman who is always there is so nice and friendly (she always remembers me and which dishes I prefer!). They do an excellent pho which I order whenever I need a warm up and a full belly. I also love their satay noodle soup (chicken or beef). I will say that it can come out a little different each time you order it but given all the spices and flavours it makes sense that the different cooks might each do it a little different - and it's always good! It's spicy and filling and a bit sweet and with the peanuts and lime it's just YUM!
The spring rolls are unique and delicious and the portions for the vermicelli bowls are very generous. The sliced grilled beef that comes with the combo vermicelli is VERY good (I don't know if it's the marinade or the way it's grilled but it's great!). I don't much care for the pork that comes with the vermicelli but that might just be personal taste.
The only thing I've had here that is a little disappointing is the salad rolls. I wish they had some herbs in them (like the Thai basil they put with everything). Also, they tend to be a bit small. The sauce it comes with can sometimes also be a bit of a weird texture and flavour (gelatinous). But they are fine it you're in a salad roll mood.
Definitely all worth a try if you are in the area... Especially when nearby choices are Dairy Queen and chopsticks diner (yuck!).
Pho Kim hasn't let me down so far! I come here at least twice a month. So far I've only had the regular pho (#23), tomyum with beef which is my favourite (#31), and the chicken onion cakes are also great. Friendly service, would recommend!
Warms you up. We came here for a late lunch after an afternoon of snowshoeing in the nearby ravines, and wanted something to really warm us up. We weren't disappointed. We both ordered the Sate noodle soup - I had the shrimp version and my husband had the beef. It took only about 10 minutes to be served, Portions were a good size. My shrimp were enormous! Tastewise I found the pho a bit too tomato-y, but the heat level was perfect (both temperature and spiciness!). We enjoyed our meal and would happily come back.
Good food. We come to this restaurant every friday, the food is very good.
I recommend the sate beef soup.
We get quite a bit of take out from this place, vermicelli bowls are large and quite good, the beef brisket stew is very tasty however there is some quality control issues. I would say 3 out of 4 times it's super delicious. The other time we have pretty much gotten what seemed like two full containers of fatty parts :( overall though we like the food and would recommend the place
We eat here most Fridays and really enjoy it.
I avoided this place for awhile because of the low ratings. It is close to my house so I eventually decided to try it out. It's good here. We had Pho and it was tasty. The owners are very nice. I'll be back.
Very very friendly (Kind of hard to find in decent pho places). Pho was fantastic. Impressed that I didn't have to beg for extra sriracha and sambal. And quick and decently priced. Definitely will go back.
Always good taste to the soups- good services- decent prices.
The pho is really tasty. I eat here often and brought a pho expert to try the pho. He gave it a thumbs up so you know it's good. The spring rolls are really tasty too. Plus the family who runs it is so sweet and nice. Sometimes service is a little slow but I think they mostly solved their initial start up problems. I will return!
Good Taste, Quick Service. I hit this place up when I want take out, mostly because it's close to my house. But the Rare Beef Pho and salad rolls are tasty, big portions and cheap price. Plus the wait isn't too long. I will keep going back! :)
Best pho we have ever had! Beef on rice and beef noodle soup is consistantly outstanding
