Review Caffe Tech - Edmonton

I was online searching for a ECM Synchronika/flow control, and I came across CaffeTech. There was a great deal for the machine an even sweeter deal for Eureka Oro Single Dose grinder. I looked to the bottom left of the web page and seen access to a CaffeTech chat line. The owner Joe began to chat with me right away. I had a zillion questions, as I was a newbie to the espresso world, and wanted to ensure this was the unit. I knew already just because of its pretty looks...Lol. I was a little concerned to begin with as this was a local business, and I was spending alot of money. My concerns were dissolved quite fast. Joe was very personable, and punctual, answered my emails, texts and chat questions like no other. It took me a few days to pull the pin, but I was confident with the product and support I was receiving. When I recieved the machine there was a bit of a glitch I couldn't seem to figure out. Joe was chatting with me, on the phone with me, finally he said bring down to me. Now remember this was New Years Eve, he has let all his staff off for Christmas and New Years, and was running a one man show over the holidays. I brought it to him, within an hour or so it was done, only to find out it was the newbie at error...Lol, me..Lol. There is nothing like doing business with someone that is personable, honest, and a ton of integrity. If your in the market for coffee and espresso machines look no further, Caffetech is the place. He roasts his own coffee too, Ace Roasters, which he also through a bag in the deal. The roasting date was ONE day old, and delicious. Oh and the machine and grinder??, simply perfection, I think my wifes loves it more than I do...Lol...such a work of art!!!

Ordered an open box Rocket Giotto R from Joe at Caffetech last Friday morning (Nov 25), shipping to Montreal. I expected it to take a week but Purolator knocked on my door this morning (Monday 28th) with the (free) delivery! Had the machine installed and running within the hour, fantastic price and service, will be back for accessories and cleaning stuff. Thanks Joe!

Recently purchased a Rocket Mozzafiatto shortly after the holidays and it was money well spent. The open box machine exceeded my expectations and is in immaculate condition. Joe is a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate that he got my order ready promptly so I could have espresso working through new years. I have a Baratza Encore grinder and have been able to brew some really flavorful shots it just takes a lot of work to be consistent. Though it's not necessary, for convenience, and as a time saver for my 3:30am wake-ups for work I plan to see Joe for a grinder upgrade. I think it'll be a real game changer if I can dispense directly into the portafilter with a consistent weight. Thanks Caffe Tech!

I purchased a new espresso machine from Joe at caffe tech the experience was amazing. Very knowledgeable , very helpful and quick response to emails and phone calls The technician Ginzio is very helpful as well suggesting tips to help me keep my new machine in great working order. Ace coffee that is attached to the store is a perfect place for meet ups and lattes 😎

Joe and his team were very helpful with my pre-order. I really wanted the Moccamaster in Juniper. They were all super friendly when I called to get an update. Joe sent me an email advising when it arrived and it would sent out priority post. I got my beautiful Moccamaster the next day. So so excited, made a cup of coffee and omg… delicious and hot! Purchased an espresso machine Lelit Bianca (V2) and a scale Acaia Lunar (2021) there - extremely happy with the level of service. Was able to have my questions in chat answered very quickly, Joe went and checked the actual scale to tell me the version - super helpful, I am impressed. And I live in Ottawa, ON, not in AB, so all the interaction was done via chat, e-mails, and regular mail (delivery):-). I highly recommend Caffetech to others!

Great prices, quick delivery and great service I purchased a new espresso machine and grinder from Caffe Tech in November 2020. When I reached out to them to ask some questions about what the right machine and grinder would be for me, Joe was very quick to set up a call with me, where he patiently answered all of my questions and helped me understand the differences between different machine options. As an added bonus, their prices were better than any others I could find and they included some really good coffee with my order free of charge. My items shipped quickly, and once I received them, Joe set up some time with me to make sure things were all set up properly. Unfortunately, I did have an issue with my grinder, but Joe and Ginzio were quick to respond and set me up with a Calgary based service center that dealt with the issue thoroughly and quickly at no cost to me. This was way better than having to send it back to Caffe Tech for service. Great job Caffe Tech! I will be coming to you for any of my future espresso needs.

I am so happy with the repair of my Espresso machine. It is over 15 years old and now it looks like new and works like new. Thank you for the helpful service and the quick turnaround. You folks are the best!

They have literally almost every single part for my Giotto Evoluzione V2 in stock! Their website and customer service is simply amazing (many email exchanges to figure out what part exactly I need)! They have saved me so many times. I haven’t been to their physical location yet but am sure the store and customer service is as great there!

I had bought a Profitec 300 online for my place in the states last year after doing a lot of research by myself on line. So when I called Caffe Tech to get one for my home here in Alberta I got personal on the phone assistance to questions I didn't know to ask. I ended up buying the Profitec 500 and I am glad. My experience with drinking better and better coffee has been a slow process, with incremental improvements in quality along the way. Now the only time I screw up is when I pull a shot a bit too long. Still better than star....s but not perfect. If you know a little bit about good coffee then make the effort to talk to a good salesman he can really improve your purchase.They have them at Caffe Tech.

If you are looking for an Espresso Machine please do not look any further than Caffe Tech beyond excellent customer service. I purchased a ECM Synchronika from Joe and was very excited to get the machine up and running. There was an issue with the machine so I called Joe on a Saturday. He knew I lived outside of Edmonton and coming in on a weekday was difficult for me so he said he would meet at Caffe Tech that very day. It turned out to be a small switch fix. Joe ran the machine gave me a tutorial and I was gone within an hour and pulling shots at home! I cannot say enough about their dedication to the customer so look no further when diving into the Espresso game. Also, try the ACE Fresh Roasted Coffee in your machine it is amazing. Rick Spangler

I recently purchased an ECM Synchronika from Caffe Tech and the service to get me up and running was great. I than purchased a Everpure Water Filtration system from Caffe Tech and again the service and support was great. This is the third espresso/grinder machine setup I have purchased from Caffe Tech. This is the only place to go if you are serious about purchasing a high quality espresso machine. Joe is the most knowledgeable person in the coffee industry. All the staff there and at ACE Coffee Roasters are super friendly and proficient. His setup at ACE roasters has to be seen to be appreciated. I highly recommend.
