Heads up, THE BEST Lebanese resturant here in Edmonton. The food is INSANELY good. The prices are very reasonable and the guys who work there are AMAZING.
WOW. Probably one of the best Lebanese restaurants I've ever been to. Everything we ordered is included in the pictures below (other than the hookah we ordered).
I would highly recommend the breakfast items as there aren't many restaurants that serve traditional Lebanese breakfast items.

Hidden gem in the Northside! Great prices, big portions, lots of variety, great quality, and delicious options. We ordered the Zatar (herbed) Baked Pita Pie ($1.95), Grilled Chicken Shawarma Wrap ($7.95), Tabouli Salad ($7.95), and Fatti Platter ($7.95). Everything was delicious! Service was friendly and genuine too. Definitely coming back for more!
There are a lot of good Lebanese/Middle Eastern restaurants north side, which is conveniently located near (close enough) to my work. There’s Pitabake and one of my all time favourites, Sunbake Pita, which we frequent often (helloooo corn nuts). Well, I’ve heard about Castle Bake for some time now but always thought it was a bit too far to go for lunch. Turns out it’s only a 10-12 minute drive so I decided to check it out with a good buddy of mine.
Castle back restaurant its my favorite they have the best food best service any time I go I get same excellent service they are fast you do not feel boring to eat their food every day...I recommended to every one likes Lebanese food ..if you are looking for the best Arabic food go to Castle Bake restaurant.
Great service and great food. I admit that the first time I came, I was not impressed, so I made it a point as to not return. However a friend made me come back a few months later and I've loved it since. The guys behind the counter are friendly. Their akawi (cheese) pita and labaneh (yogurt) sandwiches are phenomenal! Love!
Best Shawarma Ever. This is the first time I've seen a 97% score on urbanspoon, but they def do deserve it. The shawarma is insanely favorful, service is great and the place looks clean. This should be on Edmontons list of attractions
Best Shawarma!. Ordered beef and chicken shawarma (they are huge! Around 7 dollars each) They came fresh and hot, and instead of pita, we got them wrapped in Sauj Bread. I highly recommend it. We got a side order of Labneh with some extra Sauj for dipping. They also have awesome hummus!
They sell a variety of what they call "pita pies" which is basically pita slathered in a variety of toppings. We got the Za'atar and cheese pita pie which was delicious. I felt there was too much Za'atar on it, but my husband loved the spices so he didnt mind at all.
Over all, the restaurant is clean athough the decor and painting makes it seem like a donair shop feel. The guys running the show are very friendly and quick! We will be back again! Definitely worth the drive up north!
