I tried he original milk tea. Not as fresh as I had expected but still decent. Tea flavor is not too strong and the overall milk tea is smooth. Sweetness is appropriate.
They offer many different flavours and types of bubble tea. Huge cup compared to some places and it was very good. It's a good place to try.
Walking threw T & T spotted the dream house. I'm a big bubble tea fan and had read previous reviews so thought I'd try one.
There was a lengthy line up but upon closer look I noticed an order line and a pick up line. The order line being much shorter. After ordering I proceeded to the pick up line. I believe people were confused and just waiting to order in the pick up line. There were about 10 people ahead of me but my drink came out quite quickly. I even waited a minute to make sure I wasn't taking someone else's.
I had the honeydew bubble tea. And it was pretty tasty. I may grab another flavour tomorrow.
Everything a dream tea should offer ; drink wise. They finally added the milk caps to this location which is great! (Winter melon is bombbbbb)
Lines are the only thing that's sucky, but you can't really expect anything other than busy lines when it's right beside T&T.
Service is fast- to an extent.
The bubble teas that are fruit juice based are great. One negative is there is to many people that love this place so there long line ups but it's worth the wait.
The only con is that I will not try their Jasmin Green Bubble Tea again because they changed from real tea to instant, (a few years back) and I am not a fan of instant tea.
Dessert was on our minds when we finished lunch. We wanted to make the most of our time at WEM, and thought BBT would be the best option on the go. I smiled as I saw the lineup of panda shaped containers full of jelly greeting us as we approached.
I must admit, I don’t have perfect vision, but trying to read the menu choices here truly strained my eyes. Dream Tea offers lots of premixed options for you to choose from, so if you're looking to be adventurous, choose away from the list. Payment is by debit or cash only.
We got the barley germ with pearl, and avocado with pearl. So happy that the avocado is fresh here! We found that drinks to be more milky than in YYC, but they were still very yummy. The pearls had good chew to them as well.
When we were walking through the stores in WEM, we were happy to hear from sales associates that we had made a good choice in going to Dream Tea; they all said it was one of the best places in YEG.
Busy but delicious. Delicious bubble tea, I've drank so many different flavours but the watermelon is my favourite. The prices are reasonable.
The only thing I dislike about this place is the crowds. It's always super busy
Bubble Tea. Crazy menu...with lots going on. I always get taro with tapioca balls and I love it. many flavours are made fresh and with powder but seriously this stuff tastes good.
Owned and operated by the same people that runs the Dream Tea House in the campus area, this smaller location lacks the comfy couches and board games, and is more of a pick up/take out place than it is a study/procrastinate/meet up with your friends type of space. For those that like shaved ice, there are 2 small little tables you can use to precariously balance your shaved ice topped with a variety of fruit syrups or condensed milk. Unlike the campus location which also served snacky hot food - the odd chicken wing or ramen, as the space doesn't really allow for it, it only serves a variety of hot and cold bubble teas /- sago balls (decent source of fibre), /- various fruit pieces and/or fruit jello. Their fresh fruit bubble teas tend to be a bit sweeter
