We love Rick and Alice's. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is tasty and carefully prepared.Breakfast,Lunch or Dinner it is where we love to go.
I am so surprised. This family dinner is awesome. Busy place with fast and attentive service. Breakfast came out of the kitchen super fast and made from scratch. Eggs Bennie has from scratch hollandaise, you can even taste a touch of the white wine, with perfect poached eggs and real hash browns. French toast is made with French bread and is cooked perfectly. Restaurant is busy with families and regulars. Wait for a table if you have to. Breakfast here is worth the wait!

Had a really nice brunch here, food is amazing delicious! It's not easy to find such a classical dish now, and definitely get more than what you paid. Staff are friendly, services are great. Their home made coffee is the best! Will come back again!
Have been going here for years with my friends and family. Each one has enjoyed their meal from the old folks to the foodies. Rick and Alice always go above and beyond to please their customers. My mother has a severe gluten allergy and Alice remembers every time and orders for her, in probably a hundred plus visits never an issue. It's really become a meeting place for our family, with consistently great food(best sweet potato fries I've ever had & make sure you try the beef dip!!), low prices and a staff who truly cares. Short story: Alice found out our grandmother had passed away and ran over to the flower store during her busy dinner shift and bought flowers. They truly both are the best of people and just happen to run my families favourite restaurant in Edmonton. My Dad won't eat anywhere else!!
Among the friendliest service I've ever received, and the food is great too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good Sunday brunch or hangover breakfast.
Decent portions and great value. Alice the owner and waitress never forgets your name. Coffee and water are constantly refilled and food is hot and quick. Decore is tacky and dated. Awesome place for brunch and breakfast, prepare to wait for table on weekends

Love this place. This has become my new favorite breakfast place! Super friendly service, great breakfast standards - the pancakes and french toast are amazing and the eggs benedict is phenomenal. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Edmonton!
Yes Please. I love this place, the prices are great and honestly the pancakes are some of the best I've had in the city. I'm usually in for breakfast but the few lunch specials I've tried have been perfect. It's somewhere between a greasy spoon and a cafe, unpretentious decor and service with a smile. Being off whyte it's less busy than somewhere like friends and neighbors and while it has a smaller menu the food is as good if not better. Go check it out.

Super friendly owners/staff. They acknowledged everyone walking in and leaving. Breakfast was great an great value. My wife had a beef dip that was great as well Family owned, nothing fancy but does the job right We just stumbled upon it trying to find an all day breakfast on a Sunday while in Edmonton.
Delish!. Not the prettiest place in the world but it sure has tasty pancakes. Almost like hot cakes, they were sweet enough on their own without any syrup. the eggs benny was good too!

Had the steak sand and the steak was done exactly as I asked. Fries were good....not greasy....
It's home cooking at fair price and the staff get to know you...so if I am back in the area and feeling like I need some home cooking...I 'll be back.
Great overall. I love this place, it has a very friendly atmosphere and great selection on the menu. Great choices for lunch, I really enjoy the sandwiches and their sweet potato fries. Nothing I have ordered has been too greasy or overdone, everything has been neatly made, flavourful and nice and fresh.
Amazing!. We especially love their breakfast - HUGE omelettes, amazing homemade tasting hash browns, and perfect waffles. Staff is so super friendly and happy. Gets very hectic during mornings on the weekend, after church crowd. We usually head there a bit later.
This place is fantastic! The service is great and they are always really, really good to my son. The food is outstanding and the Rick and Alice are wonderful people. I really enjoy the fact they are always willing to try new items on the menu and they never seem to dussapoint. Great place!!!
