The service was beyond exceptional the waitress was amazing the wings tasted great a little but small the one order but overall great. Didn't have to wait long for anything even tho the place was packed. Would recommend to anyone
The food was DELICIOUS!! Only ate there once but it won't be my last! It was loud so if that's not your style then maybe not the place for you but you will love the food so much the noise won't bother you!!! Also, The server was on her game never an empty glass on the table super friendly and knowledgable. Will be going back for sure
Love the Patio on Sundays and the food is great. Havent had to wait long for anything and the staff/management is super fun and friendly.
Great food, amazing patios, down to earth staff, and a drink menu that is more than just beer. Whether it's catching the game on one of their many TVs or having your own room booked for an after work function, Hudsons has got you covered in spades!
We had our team event here last Tuesday and the food was delicious! The service was great too! I loved loved the wings and nachos the best.
I went last night for the oiler game. The atmosphere was amazing. We sat at the bar and our bartender Bianca was very nice, fun, and helpful. The food we ordered was very good. The beer we drank was cold and delicious. The place was very clean as well.
Great all around night.

The food was great. The mini beacon donuts are the best....totally enjoyed.
Stopped in at Hudson's for directions being the tourist I am, and figured since its rush hour and the bartender seemed nice that I may as well back and grab supper there. Food was average, atmosphere and bartender (mitch) were very welcoming and didn't make you feel like an outsider. Would come back again in the future!
My go-to place for any occasion.
Had a great time at Hudson's on Whyte, huge thanks to Mitch and the whole gang there!
Went yesterday for lunch and drinks. Service was great. Definitely will be back.
This was a nice stop tonight. Drinks and apps at Hudson’s. Our waitress was fabulous!!! Took our order right away, kept our glasses full and checked in on us throughout our stay. Half price wine and sale draft to go with our on sake apps. Sweet potato fries ( arrived extra crispy as ordered) and ribs all while the game was on. Enjoyed our visit and will be back to this Whtye ave pub
Ever since their rebranding, new menu items and what seems to be a change in management? I almost always enjoy my time here! They make great wings, steak sandwich, fish and chips and pb&j burger!!! The food is always good and the service is usually good. Average beers and cocktails and average prices! Fun atmosphere for sports fans and birthday dinners. Their dance parties are usually pretty killer, however the late night crowd is meh.
November patio drop! On a rainy, but bright day, its winter patio time! Hudsons on Whyte opened their enclosed patio. They are still working on their heaters, but on a warm winter day the patio is prime!
Cool picnic table setup with TVs to watch the game. Being on the corner of Whyte Ave, its great for people watching. Service slow but food and beer always good at #Hudsons!
Ambiance : 7/10
Staff and Service: 6/10
Food and Drink: 7/10
ONE CHANGE: Add a couple plants. Even fake ones can really increase the patio feel.

Today we decided to go for "pub food" for lunch but as usual I got my standby burger. I got the Cheddar Bacon Burger with a side of fries. My dining partner got the same but added grilled mushrooms and onions. Oh. My. THIS. This is what burgers are supposed to be. Fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. Pickle crisp, bacon thick and crisp and the Maple BBQ sauce is divine! ! The bun is fresh and soft and so great. The burger itself is thick, nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly.
My favourite part of a good burger is having to clean your hands after. This juicy burger did not disappoint so delicious!!
The fries were crisp and lightly salted. Just right to go with the burger.
The coffee was weak but really the burger over shadowed any flaws with the meal.
If you want a great burger then Hudsons is your place!!!
the food at this location is very good, service is amazing. thanks to our favorite waitress Sarah, she's always smiling and friendly and prompt service. showing respect where it's due . :)
Got the bob & Doug club. Was pretty good. I would ask for the bun toasted though.
Comfort food. Hudson's is my go to place when I want to relax with friends.
I love their burgers, and they have the best chicken fingers.
Their poutine is awesome. If the maple bacon poutine isn't on the menu, you can ask them to make it at an extra charge and they will.
Walked in with minimal expectations and was blown away. They actually cared about the customer experience. The food was great. The service was amazing. The GM even came over and grated us to make sure our experience was exceptional. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Not bad. The place isn't to bad. Service is a hit and a miss but usually pretty decent at least for me. Overall food isn't to bad nothing crazy but I would have to say they have good wings. Never had any problems with them. Not bad to grab a beer and wings.
You want a pint and a good steak sandwich....go here! I'd avoid Friday and Saturday nights as they are crazy! Unless crazy is what you are looking for. To be honest, I'm more of a black dog guy, but the staff are awesome and to me thats what matters. Prices are steep on anything bottled and quality
A Decent Pub Experience. Say what you will about Hudson's, it's a decent pub all things considered and they're making it work as a local Edmonton business. Why people would go here expecting a sophisticated environment with ground breaking cuisine is beyond me. It's not the classiest joint in town but it's far from the worst.
The food over all is good as far as pub food goes. They make a respectable burger and their wings are pretty solid. They do a great job on their sweet potato fries but like most everywhere else the sauce is lackluster and too sweet. A horseradish-dijon aioli shouldn't be as sweet as they serve it. The service can be unpredictable but usually isn't too shabby. I've had everything from horrible service when it was almost empty to outstanding service with a wall to wall crowd and not near enough staff on hand. They have tv's visible from almost any seat in the place. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are what you'd expect.
The crowds can get to be overwhelming at times and occasionally loud and belligerent (as the usual visiting Whyte Ave crowd explores social boundaries) but I usually opt out to another location in those instances. I stop in now and again and will continue to do.
