ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience for our daughters 18th birthday surprise dinner in the private room at Italia.
1. The staff at Italia and the Rivercree are the best. Jayne is amazing - she assisted with all the planning and made sure everything was perfect. Kelvin our bartender is always amazing and the berry cosmos were spectacular! Cam our server was a fantastic - he is the best!
2. The food - OMG - we had a pasta feast! The Chef is again absolutely amazing! We had a family style pasta with chicken penne, beef rotini, beef lasagna, and macaroni and cheese which was to die for! We seriously had enough food to feed the entire Rivercree and it was very affordable. Food came out hot and on time. It was perfect. And then they packaged leftovers up for us to take home. It is a perfect room to host a special occasion. Picture of the room is attached. I didn’t have a chance to take a picture of the food because everyone jumped in as it was so good!
We cannot thank you enough for the great experience - truly a night we will never forgot and such an awesome memory for my daughter!

We were part of a 10 person table to celebrate an 18th birthday. The food was great, but the service was sub-par. Of course, as we were considered a large table, our gratuity was added to the bill. I do understand this concept…15%? 18%?…no, 20%! Wow…considering the server ignored us as soon as our food came and didn’t bring the additional drink we ordered. This server made well over $200 in tip for bare minimum work over the course of an hour. I wasn’t impressed and will not go back as a large group. Oh…and the 18th was never recognized.

We received amazing service when we came for dinner a few weeks ago. Our server was very polite and quick to refill drinks and check in on us without disrupting our meal. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and provides a quiet refuge from the sounds of casino games.
The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. The only drawback is value though it's kind of to be expected for a restaurant within a hotel casino. We ordered the scallops, bison sliders and bison meatloaf. The scallops were an appetizer and came in at $20. Three quarter-sized scallops arrived on a huge cloud of risotto. The size and quantity of the scallops hardly warranted the price tag but were delicious nonetheless. I found the sliders to be on the drier side but my boyfriend really enjoyed them. The meatloaf was very good and the potatoes and roasted vegetables it came with were really yummy.
We would come back to SC next time we're at the River Cree.

The service wasn't too bad however given that we were 1 of 4 tables in the restaurant it was rather hard to flag down our server.
The food prices were fairly steep especially for a restaurant in a casino and for what you get definitely not worth the cost. They were having a 50% off deal when we went but we weren't informed of the fine print until after our meal (this is partially our fault should have asked but should also have been told up front imo).
The steak was done really well and the spice and seasonings were really tasty. The macaroni looked pretty but was kinda bland and tasted like it was watered down. All the flavor was on the surface where the cheese was and wasn't saucy at all underneath. The Brussel sprouts were under cooked and really bitter. The bannock dish was really good however there was the smallest scoop of ice cream to bannock ratio which was very unfortunate.

Great atmosphere and ambiance. Our server was wonderful. He was attentive and visited our table frequently all evening to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was another story. Although presentation was on point, the taste was quite bland and the temperature was mildly warm. It certainly did not live up to its (establishment) name.

Wauu. Great food, great service, great staff and just a great restaurant!! Had a dinner with my wife there few days ago and I was amazed. We had a organic salmon and halibut and it was great.
Atmosphere is super nice and for sure I will be back there again!
Thank you for such a nice experience!

Came here for new year's eve supper as their feature menu looked quite good.
I had the tartare duo (tuna and beef) the tuna was excellent while the beef lacking in comparison.
For a main I had the beef wellington which again was ok but nothing special given the $40 price tag of this particular dish. My wife had the surf and turf ordered medium well, this dish came out the first time and the lobster was raw and the beef was cooked to leather. She had returned it and the beef came out slightly less leather but nonetheless dry and the lobster was re-fired to being rubber. All of the side dishes were bland and in desperate need of seasoning.
The service seems lack luster and it felt like the wator was doing you a big favor by doing his job. When my wife returned her meal we got the big eye roll.
Overall I would not recommend this restaurant and it is a shame that this menu replaced Sage which was by far better for both ambiance and food.
