One of my favorite bars in Edmonton. Great food, great drinks, great friendly staff. On top of this they treat the bands they bring in fantastically. It's great to have a good, friendly bar that also has regular live entertainment, and also treats the entertainers well.

Have been both a patron at OTR and had the pleasure of playing on stage in various bands over the years - most recently with Achilles Last Stand. There's no better place for live entertainment in the city - they have awesome sound, excellent, friendly, fun staff and a fantastic vibe. If you've never been, you're missing out!
Thursday night salsa at OTR is the best. The staff are great, the food delicious, and it’s always a good night.

My coworkers/friends and I always come for Taco Tuesday’s afterwork, and occasionally for Oiler games. The staff is always friendly, and always good food!
I was there last Friday, the band was awesome, the bar was full ,but service was quick! The atmosphere was fantastic and they have super delicious wings, amoung the best in town! Oh and I got to hang out and have a drink with former UFC Bantamweight champ and future Hall of famer Dominic Cruz!! Did you know he was there On The Rocks...!? A truly awesome and fun night of dancing and partying!!!
there are not enough words to say how much On The Rocks means to me, the staff are awesome and treat me like gold, I have been going to OTR for 10yrs and will always make OTR my second home.
Met some friends here around midnight after leaving another bar. They had live music which is nice to see but unfortunately they were not great. The DJ played between sets and had great dance music. Service was mediocre, took a while to get drinks and very little interaction. Beer was flat but cocktails were tasty. I went on a Saturday night and it’s definitely a club feel. Shoulder to shoulder, good luck finding a seat. Totally fine if you’re looking to dance!! But if you want to talk/sit down you might want to go earlier or try somewhere else. Crowd seemed chill for the most part.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly (Abby). They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is amazing (Jerk chicken club) and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Abby bought us a round of shots after an oilers win! Definitely coming back!
Excellent crab feature the last Friday of the month. Great service and fantastic food. Always a great time and great value for lunch specials for the gang at work.
This place is great for a night out with friends! Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Music is great. Staff are very friendly. Despite being super busy yesterday, the bartender took the time to make me the perfect ceasar, I am very impressed!
I haven’t been here since my partying days. Went for dinner tonight and the service was great. Food was good as well. I got a beyond burger and my friends had the wings, which they said were very good. Lots of sauces and dry rubs to choose from. Good deal on Big Rock beer.
When I used to go out it was a cool place to go on the weekends I remember. Live music, dj’s, lots of dancing, everyone is having fun.
Friendly servers. I found that the bartenders would go out of their way to ensure your needs were taken care of. They have maybe 7 or 8 VLTs to occupy the players. There are lots of tables for people's who prefer more private visits. But there's a huge bar in the center which offers alot of bar stools (high chairs with arm rests) for those who prefer the "Cheers" style of drinking around the activities of drink making.
Definately a must to visit if you like to get out. Enjoyed my stay again and again
