Sukhothai - Edmonton - Photo album

The food here was nothing spectacular, as I've had better in Edmonton. The Pad Thai had a nice sweetness to it, though a little bit of spice would have been nice. The noodles were a bit thicker than I'm used to, which I felt was a nice touch. The green curry had a nice spice to it, but it was a bit
Sukhothai is probably my favorite thai restaurant in Edmonton. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the service can be very slow if they are busy. If they are not busy though the meal comes out fast. They are also quite expensive for thai food. Their coconut rice is amazing, and thei
The food is only pretty good, we ordered a good selection off the menu, curries and the usual pad thai.... duck in red curry, a fish... however I know of better Thai restaurants (Bounthai downtown, Boulang in Chinatown) that have better food and better prices. The decor is classy but not comfortable
My shrimp came out cold, and the wait staff rarely came by. When the the host collected our plates, he asked about the meal. I told him about the shrimp still on my plate. He made excuses that he was understaffed, that they didn't over cook the shrimp, and then didn't know what to do. He asked th
First off, I have LOL at Charles Kung below. It's pretty standard for Thai restaurants to serve their dishes with rice separate. Decor was great, food was really good, but it was on the pricey side.
If I could give a negative, I would! I ordered the shrimp Papaya salad and it cost $20. I was expecting some huge salad full of shrimp. When I got home o discovered that the salad was hardly a salad at all and there was two pieces of shrimp! I called to complain and the woman working there practical
I've been here several times and tried most of the curry dishes. I highly recommend the red or green curry. Fancy decor, a bar and fire place centre piece that makes Sukho great for date nights. Sukho Thai is A+ in my books.
Service was slow, even though it was not a busy time. The food portion was smaller than any other place I went for thai food in Edmonton, and was more expensive. We were not impressed. We dine out about 3 times a week..would not recommend this thai restaurant
