Nice option for local Italian restaurant. Decent selection variety on the menu. Flavour lacking on a few dishes to earn that final star. Forced 18% gratuity for groups 6 or more which is well advertised on the menu.
Otherwise it’s a cozy feeling with the table layout, and we got service with a smile.

the stew is so delicious, just the right spices, big serving of seafood (calamari, fish fillet, mussels, shrimps) are cooked just right, the broth is so yummy. comes with garlic toasted bread.

It was a fantastic meal and the service was awesome. Just the right amount of friendly attention. Love the food here. Service is always top notch. I keep going back and am never disappointed. Go here for special occasions or just a casual meal. It has a pretty varied menu and I can’t recall ever having a bad meal here. Certainly one of my favourite Italian place to eat. The waitress was so awesome. I will be back.

The food was great and the atmosphere was cozy. The service however felt very rushed and, for a restaurant, a 9pm closing time on a Friday is not customer focused. I was with a rather large party (8 people) so by the time everyone ordered and ate it was closing time and felt like we had to rush through the bottle of wine. Our glasses were swiftly whisked off the table one by one as soon as we finished the last drop and made others at the table feel rushed to gulp down their wine. There are other Italian restaurants open later and are a bit more enjoyable. Not sure I'll be back again.

OMG the food was awesome, had the rack of Lamb $34 which was 4 ribs great value & BEST of all was so delicous, husband had speciial Icelandic Cod was also terrific. Amount of fresh vegetables and cooked to perfection was impressive. Would visit again, and highly recommend.

Fantastic! Service is impeccable. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. But the food! The food is amazing. We haven't enjoyed a dinner put this much in a long time. Everything from the mussels to the schnitzel was expertly prepared and presented. We will be back.

Great atmosphere and staff at Il Forno. We were waited on hand and foot with great appetizers and beef tenderloin. Some of the best wings I've ever had! Go - you won't be disappointed
