Review Buco Pizzeria + Vino Bar - Edmonton

We hadn't been to Buco since before the pandemic... They changed their parking reimbursement program. Instead of paying for it and bringing in your slip, You just go in and tell them your license plate without paying at the kiosk beforehand. Service was good to start and then begin to waiver. It is perhaps the server got busier but we seem to have been forgotten as our meal went on. The food was also not as good as we remember... This was our first time trying the "Roasted Verdure" salad. Overall it was good but we had some pieces that were very fibrous and difficult to eat. The mussels were on the smaller side and the flavor was satisfactory, but nothing to rave about. The Assagini were much smaller than we remember as well and the Buco Veal meatball was very bland and sandy. It reminded me more of a very processed meatloaf than a veal meatball. The only thing that seemed the same was the Arancini. I did have a very good Italian pineapple soda which exceeded my expectations. It was my first time from Buco. With all this said we might hold off returning for a while...

Spent Canada day down town and was pleased that Buco was in walking distance from the hotel. great experience and food.

Went here on a Saturday night recently with some friends. The space is beautiful and new. The service was great and our server was amazing. The food however was not good in any way, shape, or form. The arancini and other appetizers were super dry, the Margherita pizza was somehow wet, like it had been dunked in a bucket of water before being served, and the muscles were dry and tasted like they were 2 days old. Will not be returning any time soon.

Wow! This Tyson guy??? Unreal. Such a good manager, made sure we had the best experience possible. Great food, great drinks. Highly recommended Buco over any other bar/restaurant downtown. Thanks Tyson!

Unfortunately I had a really bad experience here. The waitress was really nice. I'm celiac and I heard that this place has some good gluten free pizza. Which is actually true. The first pizza I ordered was amazing. They were out of the gluten free pasta so I decided to give another pizza a try. I can't pronounce the name of the pizza but it had truffle oil and honey on it I believe. I love truffle but they kinda soaked the pizza in it. It was over powering I only at like 2 slices and couldn't force myself to eat more. So I'm walking back hone about 45 minutes later and my stomach is really upset. I don't wanna give you much detail but it wasn't a good situation to put it very lightly. It definitely wasn't cross contamination with gluten as I'm not allergic I'm intolerant to gluten. I can have fries baked in the same fryer as something that can have gluten in it and so on. Plus if I do accidentally eat gluten i generally pay for it the next day so even if the pizza had been made with gluten I wouldn't have reacted like that. Unfortunately that kinda kills the experience for me for coming back. Which is definitely Unfortunately cause the first was tasty. I did call up the place. They were apologetic and offered reimbursement but to be honest a free pizza isn't really the equivalent of what happened to me after.

First time experiencing this gem of a restaurant and had a very pleasant and delightful experience. The menu options at this restaurant as well as the happy hour menu are among the best I seen in Edmonton so far. Special thanks goes out to the GM Pasquale for doing an amazing job running that place. Keeps it very posh and clean at all times from what I’ve seen. Also to our bartender and waitress Joselyn for providing fast, professional service even during such a busy hour at the restaurant. My business partner and I needed to grab a bite to eat since we are all opening our new Business right next door! Very safe to say after the experience I had yesterday at this establishment that we will be making this our regular and routine spot! I highly recommend the happy hour at this place since you can get any of their pizzas for twelve dollars! Food quality is top notch, the pizza was very authentic and delicious. If you haven’t been to this place yet I suggest you give it a try!

Great place for casual dining with with friends, family or others. You may even be on your own but that’s ok because you will love the food. It’s a great location in the Epcor Tower. The ambiance is cozy, just right. I have been here at this location and the one in St Albert and the experience has been great. Our server was friendly and courteous. He was knowledgeable about the menu and gave good advice. The food was tasty and served hot. We were a party of 9 and all had a good experience and enjoyed the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back. On a previous visit I was here during happy hour and the prices are great. The washrooms are clean. There is patio seating and a bar.

Pizzas here are just okay, not the greatest and always the same problem with similar cooked ones...never ever cooked all the way through with a crispy crust. Too worried about not having something that looks a little well done so you get a pizza that can taste almost raw. Combinations for them are decent but you wont be blow away...come in for happy hour and get a charcuterie platter...quality for the discounted price is amazing!! Not top of the line but for like $12 and a half prices glass of wine a great place to unwind after work
