My Mom, nine decades young, wanted to try something new. We found Lan’s highly recommended in a local magazine. Not a lot of in house visitors the other night, but plenty of take away orders. The menu is a mix of Vietnamese and Thai. We had Vietnamese spring rolls to start. Hot. Good. With lots of pork inside. My Mom had drunken noodles with chicken. I had classic Pad Thai with chicken. Both were fresh, hot, and delicious. Service generally good, with an occasional lapse. Likely because it was not a busy night so our server stayed behind the counter filling take out orders much of the time. A very enjoyable evening.

What a great experience at Lans! We went as part of a larger group for a birthday party but had excellent service! Water cups were always full, servers check on a consistent basis to ensure that everything is ok. Food portions are very generous with quality ingredients. For example, We had two different stir fries and the quantity of peppers in the dishes was very generous. Highly recommended! As an added touch the owner gave us a few sweet coconut/cashew balls at the end of the meal - a nice touch!

Great food very flavorful, highly recommend checking it out. Service is very good, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Server catered the specialty honey tea (ginger), as my wife wasn't feeling so good so they added extra ginger.*first picture* We ordered the Banh Khot(Vietnamese takkoyaki)*second picture*, Pad Thai *third picture*, and the Green Curry *last picture*. My wife's favorite was the Banh Khot, I myself really enjoyed the green curry. Nice thing is they adjust the heat/spiciness to mild/med/hot which is helpful since my wife can't handle overly spicy food. This was my first time here, but my wife has been here before.

Great hidden spot in the Edmonton Nait Area! They have a spicy menu (actually spicy) which is perfect for lunch stop overs. We got the cashew plate and noodles with hot sauce. Their dessert menu is also really good from what I hear (brother went a few times) The area is lesser known in the Nait area but the restaurant definitely is defining the plaza for its great food! Staff is attentive and friendly. Orders also come out reasonably quick. Would recommend you make your next lunch location here if you are in the area :)

My friend has been wanting me to come here for a while, and I'm pleasantly surprised! They serve Thai and Vietnamese food. Very fresh and flavourful tasting food, very friendly staff, and I definitely am leaving full, and very happy. I'll definitely be back again soon!

Loved Tom and his sis for their passion for food. Was a little concerned to learn there were new owners but glad to say they've exceeded the high expectations and this place continues to deliver a great experience!

This place was recommended by a local as one of their top three Thai places in Edmonton and I'm glad I went. The iced Thai tea was delicious, the Bahn Knot shrimp cakes were soo tasty and the Pad Thai was super authentic and I had banana spring rolls!

Tom is simply the best. You'll always get service with a smile here. All of the food is amazing, but my favorite dishes are the vermicelli noodle bowls and the bo luc lac (steak bites). You'll also get the best spring rolls here!! Don't let the location fool you, Lan's serves delicious food! Edit: Tom and his family have moved on, but the new family running the business is friendly and have the recipes that Tom and his family made. The food is still great!
