Ambiance is so lovely. Decorated beautifully, makes you feel as if you've transported to a cozy European restaurant.
First time trying their food, usually we just grab drinks here. The Beef Tartar was memorable, no doubt. And mushroom toast also divine.

Cocktails were on point. Daniel was fantastic at creating various cocktails.
“Food” was questionable. Ordered the “seafood platter” and got 6 cocktail shrimp, 4 oysters and a very small smattering of salmon tartar. For $48. Not worth the price. Also ordered the “charcuterie. Got 2 slices of brioche toast and about 14 slices of deli meat. All of these were on a plate that reminded me of my moms kitchen circa 1985.
I would go back for a few drinks. But a good place matches their food to keep you drinking. Definitely eat somewhere else.

Fantastic service and creative choices from our server. Such a lovely space that makes you feel warm and cozy. I’ve heard from people that the absinthe with sugar experience is super fun as they carry a lot of different absinthes. Can’t wait to try more cocktails!!

Apapacho was a mexcal combo that grabs you with its long finish. The sobremesa stood on its own with a balance of flavours. Candied salmon was tasty. Bartender Jeremy and cocktail aficionado Jason filled me in on the art of cocktails. Chill evening.

Cozy environment and excellent ambiance. Enough room between customers for privacy in a small space. House cocktails do not disappoint. Coming back on a Tuesday when cocktails are $10!! Very friendly service.

First off, the decor is perfect. It's very obvious that a lot of care went into the atmosphere of this bar. We enjoyed some unique cocktails and the servings of food are perfect to share or a couple would be a satisfying meal for one. The service was on point, but relaxed in a way that didn't make you feel rushed or intruded upon. We were pleasantly surprised by our bill at the end, as for the quality of food and drink we had expected it to be pricier. Would be a wonderful spot to bring a date, or for when you are in need of something a little different when you meet your friends for dinner. I'll be back for sure.

What a great venue! Wonderful service by Natasha and Mark and the food was outstanding. What a delight to see an establishment succeeding in late night service and cuisine. The oysters from Effin Seafoods were outstanding and the pork and duck entrees were perfectly executed with beautiful and succulent flavours. Thank you Clementine, we will be back!

Gorgeous style, interior. Interesting menu. As others have said, once inside (it's very understated from the outside) it feels as though you've stepped back in time to 1920s Paris or London.

On the face of it, it was loud and had the feel of an after work bar in Manhattan. But once settled there was time to take in the elegant but subtly stated details of the place while sipping a very nice coffee. The place was very busy but the hostess was friendly and efficient and never left you alone for long. Brunch was sincerely delicious, pork belly on sauteed cabbage, topped with Madelined apple and dusted over with fresh parmigiana. Mmmmm!
The WC also has a certain old time charm. You are descreetly entertained with 1950s Camel cigarette, Tomato Soup, and Italian Lotion face cream radio commercials.
Don't forget to pull the chain to flush. :) It's part of the fun.
