We finally tried this restaurant ordering through Skip The Dishes. I noticed one item was missing, and before I could call the restaurant there was a knock at my door. They sent one of their own staff to deliver the missing item to us once they noticed it didn't get packed with the order! We live in Sherwood Park, so that's not a short distance!
The food was excellent, and I especially liked the Panang Curry! We will be ordering again!
Excellent Thai food. Would definitely go back again

Love this restaurant. They are so friendly and the food is so good. Everyone should try this place.
Just had a delicious dinner here! Our first time here and we'll DEFINITELY be back. Excellent service.
Second time eating at Millions. Millionaire tip, get the Money Bags as appetizers. A perfect way to corrupt your taste buds just before the main course.
Awesome Thai restaurant in the Beverly area of Edmonton.
Great food! New favourite place! Highly recommended
I'm sorry it once again took me so long to review a Dinner Club destination, but even though time has passed (we went here in July) the experience still resonated, and I just had to finally post.
Simply put we LOVED this restaurant. The food was amazing and tasted pretty authentic to us especially as we met the chef. As it has been many months I cannot recall everything we ordered but as there was a big group of us we ordered a lot. Nothing disappointed. The flavours were fantastic with just enough heat to please. The salad rolls were fresh, the crispy tofu delicious...we all agreed we'd go again.
The staff was friendly and while our orders came out at random times (like the salad rolls last) it didn't bother us...we knew the chef was working pretty much alone on everything and we had a lot of dishes.
Highly recommend this little delight if you enjoy Thai food.
Before this place opened my boyfriend and I would go to Boualouang downtown for our regular Tom Yum Prawn noodle soup. When we tried Millions for the first time we vowed to never go back to Boualouang. The service here is fast, the food is delicious and the food is reasonably priced. Check this place out if you're ever craving Thai. The lady there is nice and knows our order the moment we walk in the door. Try the Tom Kha if you get the chance, it is a delicious coconut milk (mildly spicy) broth with veggies.
This hole-in-the-wall restaurant is definitely a diamond in the rough! The pad thai is amazing! I can't get enough of it. Its simple, natural and light flavours make this dish. I get this at least once a week. I'm obsessed.
This place is delicious! The food was amazing, very flavorful dishes. The service was awesome as well. The only negative part is that for the price you pay, you end up getting a small portion.
Stopped for quick weekday lunch, pleasantly surprised. Fantastic prices, nice lunch sized serving of rice and stir fry plus a couple spring rolls, I ordered the pad basil, fresh and aromatic the way Thai should be. My lunch partner ordered the green curry and it was also fresh, zippy and an obviously not a store bought curry base. We shared the 'moneybags' appetizer also very tasty. Neighbourhood sketchy but what's life without a little spice ? parking right outside the restaurant lets us keep an eye on the car. Service was quick and friendly, definitely be back again for lunch soon.
Wow best Thai food we have ever had, and we eat Thai quite often at some of the more "high end" Thai restaurants in the city (without saying names) ... This was way better!!!! And super reasonable prices!!
Ordered take out from here twice in about two months, and both times the food was excellent, as was the staff. Staff was friendly and inviting, hubby stayed for a Thai beer the first time on the pick up run. Tonight was my turn and it was pleasant. Staff greeted me warmly and food came out fresh, hot and satisfying. However, this time the cost had gone up significantly in only two months time. A new printed menu in the bag shows that each dish we ordered has gone up between $1-3. Hubby and I discussed that part of the appeal of this place was its reasonable prices. not sure if we will return because of the markup. Food was good but for the price, we may just return to our old faves.
Went at lunch time on a weekday and it was fairly quiet, but that's not surprising for that neighbourhood. The group of us tried a few things, including items from the lunch menu. The pad Thai was a solid choice; good flavour and decent heat. Portions were fair, maybe a touch on the smaller side for most people.
I'd probably have to give it another try at night, but this place didn't reflect the great reviews its received. But for people in the area, its definitely a good spot for a tasty meal.
We live by St. Albert so it was a bit of a drive getting here but its worth it. The pad thai, green curry and thai iced milk tea were delicious. This place won't disappoint. Will be back!

Amazing - can't say enough good things about the food here!
Ate here last Wednesday with a large group for a birthday celebration. Was perfect for our group of 12! Great service and very fresh and flavourful food. We liked it so much we're ordering take out from there tonight and it's only been 3 days since we were there last! Love the green curry with chicken and the pepper garlic stir fry. You won't be disappointed!
Great new place! Food is delicious! I had the Garlic Pepper with Coconut Rice (as take out). The beef was tender and juicy, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. Glad to have a new option in my neighborhood!
Finally - a Thai place that is authentic, competent, nicely decorated, and unpretentious.. I'm so happy my friend took me here. I drove all the way from south side to here and it was the best drive ever. I want to go back tomorrow. That's how much I enjoyed it!
I ordered the pineapple fried rice with seafood and drunken noodles with beef. I topped it off with a Thai iced coffee and ginger tea. For the food dishes, I wish I ordered the million thai platter! I was drooling over my friends' dishes. The pineapple fried rice was filled with wonderful seafood like squid, mussels, scallops and shrimps - it was so awesome that I forgot to take pictures. You know something is good when I forget to take pictures. It was a little oily but that is exactly what I would expect from awesome fried rice. The flavours blended in together quite well and it is a must-try to get the seafood option ($15). The drunken noodles were equally as good and the beef was more tender than I thought. Alberta Beef made it even more awesome. The presentation was great too.
The portion sizes were not that large but when I compared to Krua Wilai, Boualouang, Thai Flavours, etc and considering the price. Things were more than reasonable. I think Thai food always comes in smaller portions and that's the way it is. What I don't like is when places charge $20 for something that should be $12 or $15. This Million Thai places charges much less than that - a humble $10 or $15 will do. How awesome is that? I like eating cheap and delicious, remember? :)
I know I've only been here once and I should say this after my second visit... but... I can't help to say that this is my favourite Thai place in Edmonton (Sorry Boualouang - you screwed up with the highway robbery prices and lies about the fish).
Friendly and yummy dishes. Thank you for Thai food options in this area. I got info from my neighbors that there is Thai restaurant in 118 Ave.
I went there to try with my family on last Friday night. The restaurant almost full at that time service quite was very fast for us. They extra care and feed us menu information. We like their yellow curry and starter. The taste are so smooth and texture with Thai herbs ingredients. However, Thank you once again for a nice option in this area.. I happy to be this restaurant fan!!!
One of Edmonton's Top Thai food experiences. Second time eating at Million, the dinner for 2 has generous portions with options to build your own savoury combo.
Very friendly and personable service, they ask for feedback and are proud of their dishes.
Nice atmosphere, though the drink fridge is a bit buzzy, and tvs playing movie trailers and sport shows aren't ideal. Not really a bother though. Go for the food. Be sure to go there with friends and if needed they have a nicely decorated private area for larger gatherings.
Glad to take the trip out to the Beverly district, as even though the area has some rough edges it has plenty of charms such as Million Thai.
Millionaire pro tip. Order the money bags as appetizer and for desert their fried ice cream comes wrapped in a fresh coconut donut coating. Yum.
Tastiest Thai Treat In Edmonton. If you have not eaten here yet it is a must! The food is fantastic the service is even better. If you have any problem at all the are there for you. Their style of caring for customers beats out a lot of other restaurants . It is nice to get some good thai food again. I give this place a 4.5 out of 5. Remember if you like a dish for example and it is to spicy or something like that then they can customize the spice ratios to how you want it. Have to ask in advanced.
Make it out if you haven't. I like it there.
The food was excellent! Service friendly too. We will be back with friends.
Very Good Green Curry!. We have been comparing some of the various Thai restaurants in Edmonton and visited Million Thai last Friday. The restaurant was clean and our server pleasant and prompt. We had green curry, pad thai noodles and rice. Presentation was excellent. The green curry was very good, spicy and lots of vegetables and the pad thai flavourful - no complaints about the food. Prices were reasonable. This is a restaurant we would visit again.
FANTASTIC, AUTHENTIC & DELICIOUS. We've been in Edmonton since June and have gone to several Thai restaurants. FINALLY . . . .
Million Thai is authentic THAI food and super delicious. The Massaman Beef is soooo good. If you like hot and spicy ask them to make you deep-fried fish with basil chilli on top - it's not on the menu. OMG - I feel like I am back in Thailand!!!
Great food and super friendly staff.
Million Thai Restaurant has been on my hit list for the past few months but I rarely, if ever, am in the neighbourhood of Beverly. I made a conscious effort to go and decided to meet up with a buddy of mine who works nearby. We went on a Wednesday for lunch and the place was pretty empty, save for one other table occupied. The interior is actually quite nice – clean and simple with a few Thai paintings and decorations to round things out...
The best Thai Restaurant in whole edmonton. I have been eaten many restaurants and this is the best fresh healthy Thai Restaurant I know in a month I visited 3 times. I have to write a review cause this is so good. Never had Thai food so good. If you see this just go or order have one dish you will see what am saying.
It is worth for the money you pay and they take time to gains the dishes with even carved carrot flowers.
Frigging good the best ever Thai you can try
Good food good prices. Driving by it doesn't look like much and the interior could use some updates but the food is really good for the price. We have been here a couple times now, always delicious. The drunken rice with chicken is amazing and only $13! The pad thai was also very good and we have also enjoyed several of the curries. Can't go wrong with this place and they do delivery!
My boyfriend and I ate here after reading a very positive review in the journal. The restaurant is not fancy but the wait staff are very pleasant and the food is delicious. We started with the spring rolls which were very fresh. I had noodles, my boyfriend had beef, we shared a vegetable dish and coconut rice. Everything was wonderful, the sauces were so flavourful, we couldn't get enough. What I appreciate as a vegetarian was the face that almost every dish could be made vegetarian. Vegetables were one price, beef, chicken and pork were another and seafood was another so rather than just asking to not have meat in a dish you could just pick vegetables and only pay for vegetables. We will definitely go back. We only wish we lived closer since they only deliver within a 5 km radius.
Nice little place !!!. Went there for the noon luncheon with a few old guys I used to work with. I seldom frequent Asian restaurants other than the Oriental Noodle House (Thanh Thanh) but this was the choice of one of the others. Lovely place in Olde Towne Beverly, clean as a whistle and not busy, service was very friendly and the young lady serving us was a treat in these days of disinterested servers. I'm not a rocket scientist but eventually, I did figure out how the luncheon menu works by combining different portions of it together, it's a wee bit confusing and certainly interesting with a variety of permutations and combinations. Prices are fine, the portions are a bit on the small side I would say (for lunch anyways) but the food is very good, mine could've been a bit hotter but the others said theirs was fine. Two spring rolls come with the meal and they are way above average for quality and taste. When finished, run across the street to the Italian Bakery and pick up some dessert and maybe a loaf of bread for supper, and while you're in the neighbourhood, pick up a few rolls of sausage at Widynowski's Sausage House just west of the Italian Bakery, best sausage house in Edmonton if you spring for their pure ham offering.
Fantastic place in a improving strip. The service is very good, polite, friendly and fast.
From the outside, just left of the door, you can see right into the kitchen, it super clean and organized.
I've been here for lunch a few time by my self and the Pad thai and green curry are great. But I finally got to come in with a group to have a full supper and it was fantastic.
Everything was good put the coconut shrimp was the best thing. it wasn't just breaded in coconut, it was more like a macaroon, deep fried with a prawn in the middle. so good.
The thai iced tea and coffee are both good too.
Back for sure!

Impressed. The room was bright and clean. A few Thai hangings but not to much. The bankettes where was a DIY job and a bit lumpy but it was still ok. Maybe a pro upgrade in the future. The service was fast, friendly and polite.
First time in so I ordered a pad thai to get a measure of the place. Plenty of big chunks of chicken, just enough slices of tofu. A bit on the saucy side for my taste and flavours seam a bit muted but still good.
I love the ideal of the build you own dinner set for 4. I already have my dishes picked out for the next time. :)
Loved it. Finally tried this new Thai place after driving past many times. Wow! I was pleased with the food and the service was great. We loved the red curry particularly. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to introduce our friends to this place.

We were so happy that a thai restaurant opened in our neighborhood. The food is amazing. We've been twice and tried different things and loved everything. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp to start. The service was a little slow bit I think it's just busier then they expected since it just opened.
Best Thai food in Edmonton!!!. Driving by Million tonight on the way to another restaurant when we decided on a whim to try something new. Boy are we glad we did!!! Comfortable and friendly service and really excellent food. The vegetarian spring rolls were the best I have ever had, and I've eaten a lot of spring rolls. We shared a two person combo with pad ginger beef and panag chicken curry. Both were wonderful - bright fresh vegetables cooked just right with tender meat and very tasty sauces, Everything was fresh and light and attractively presented. We also had the deep fried tofu, coconut rice and fried ice cream. Every dish was absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back again. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
What a little gem. We went there on Saturday night and the place was absolutely wild!!! Got there early, so the service was good, but they are definitely understaffed. However the food was wonderful. I had the million appetizer plate white consisted of coconut shrimp, money bundles, a sausage of some sort, and chicken skewers with 2 different sauces. One was a yummy curry sauce and the other was a sweet Thai sauce. The waiter commended ginger green tea to go with the meal. Good choice. My granddaughter had a noodle dish and almost liked her plate clean. All that was left was the cilantro garnishes!!! the food is excellent. However they definitely need more waitstaff on weekends.
Service was superb, but some of the later arrivals waited too long.
Neighbourhood gem. We ordered delivery at 5:45 pm on Good Friday and got the food by 6:15, delivered by a very charming young guy. Impressive! They have doorway debit and credit, which is nice.
We got: Crispy Tofu, Salt-dried Calamari, Red Curry Beef, Pad Cashew Nut with Pork, Drunken Noodle with Chicken, and coconut rice.
The delivery boxes are the excellent ones with a see-through lid, that seal easily to save your leftovers if you order way too much food, as we always do.
The Crispy Tofu was OK, but I think we've finally realized that we just don't like crispy tofu that much, and are going to stop trying. No fault on the side of Million Thai. It came with some peanut sauce and some sweet chili sauce. The calamari, however, was stellar - very tender and crisp, flavourful, and likely to win over people who don't like calamari. It was served on a thin bed of lettuce with some diced sweet red pepper. Very pretty and refreshing.
The Red Curry Beef was also delicious, with lots of tasty sauce, an assortment of perfectly cooked small pieces of vegetable (no big tasteless hunks of half-raw broccoli here), and the beef was the tenderest I've ever had in a red curry. I asked for it extra spicy but I think that got slightly lost in translation. The Drunken Noodles were plenty spicy enough to make up for it, though. Again, great vegetables, nice delicate pieces of chicken, and a really tasty sauce. The cashew nut pork was very good if not quite as memorable as the other three great dishes. Coconut rice was a perfect choice, and they serve a large portion for a reasonable price.
It was excellent food all around, full of flavour but not heavy, fatty, or gloppy, extremely fresh, and beautifully presented. Really excellent cooking, and a great addition to the neighbourhood. We'll definitely be ordering again, or eating in - I want to try some soups.
Yum! I had the Million Thai soup and my wife had the veggie Green Curry. Good spice level. Excellent service. 4 blocks from home so we are coming again.
Great little place nice attentive owner probally top 3 tom yum in the city will be back to try other items would be nice to see some daily lunch specials added
This place is close to my house so I drove down and placed an order for take-out. This is my first time here the place is clean and staff is friendly. I ordered staples for my inaugural visit; Tom kha soup with chicken, coconut rice and basil stir fry with chicken. Within ten minutes my food was ready and I was on my way home. This Thai food is awesome, everything cooked perfect and fresh and tasty. I ordered mine extra spicy and it didn't disappoint. I will be back often. Keep up the great work! Beverly needs more restaurants like this.
Great food. Great prices. As long as their prices dont jump up I will definitely enjoy coming back here!
Happily surprised! It's not in a great location, it's easy to miss when you drive by, but it's Thai and it's close to home so thought I would try it out.
First, we tried the Thai iced tea. It comes with either milk or lemon. I've never tried it before but both flavours were delicious--a strong tea flavour, an orange colour, and a bit sweet. I will definitely be having that again.
We were warned that out food might take a while because they had a bunch of to go orders but it didn't seem to take any longer than anywhere else so we were happy with the length I time we took. We were served by one of the owners so we were happy to learn that it was also independently owned.
We ordered the glass noodles with veggies and the sweet and sour tofu. We also ordered a side of coconut rice. Everything tasted great! Everything had great flavour. I was especially happy with the flavour of the rice as many restaurants skimp out on the coconut.
All in all, we were both really happy! We were especially happy with the numerous vegetarian options (pretty much anything can be made vegetarian. They either exclude meat or add tofu.)
We will be sure to be regular customers!
Delicious!. The food was as good as I hoped it would be. Everything on the appetizer platter was very good. The curry dishes were excellent as well. The restaurant is close to home and I will be going there often!!!
Outstanding Thai Cuisine. What a great restaurant. Some of the best Thai food I have had!! Great Flavours and we will now be regulars for sure. Thank you!
My husband and I are extremely impressed with this lovely new addition to our community :) amazing and friendly owner! Food is definitely one of my new favorites :)
Almost There. It's great to have a Thai restaurant on this side of the city! The food is delicious but isn't as perfect as it could be. You can tell that some of the ingredients aren't as fresh as they could be, ie. the frozen mixed vegetables and the fishy prawns. But besides that the flavors are authentic and very yummy. I will be eating here again with the hope that the veggies will be freshly cut and cooked.
Fantastic Thai in NE Edmonton. I stumbled across this restaurant on the Urbanspoon app, and since there's a dearth of Thai restaurants in this neck of the woods, I thought I'd try it out. I phoned and put in an order for take out, and went to pick up my order in about 15 minutes. It turns out that today was their grand opening too.
The food here is FANTASTIC! I ordered the Dinner for Two - Set A with money bags, green chicken curry, peanut beef stir fry and coconut rice. I also got an order of the pad thai with prawns. The money bags were crisp on the outside and succulent on the inside. All of the vegetables in the curry and stir fry were super fresh and cooked to perfection. The green curry sauce was just spicy enough, and the peanut beef was rich and delicious. The pad thai was perfectly seasoned, not too sweet, not too sour. Everything was amazing, but my favourite part was actually the coconut rice -- just a little sweet, firm and toothsome rice, not overcooked at all... I could've eaten just that and been happy.
If you're looking for an authentic Thai experience in northeast Edmonton, make sure to visit Million Thai. I know I'll be visiting again very soon!
The mango salad was beautiful with a slight hint of spice. However if you’re not into spice I would either not include the dressing or remove the Thai basil. Together I would rate the heat a medium, which I quite enjoy with the counter of the mango.
Then there was the order of the crab philly. It’s a beautiful little pouch. They’re happy to substitute the sauce with sweet chili if you ask nicely.
I will definitely order from them again!
My first time here. Ordered the yellow shrimp curry. Was really good. Tasty and lots of curry sauce. Also got the coconut rice which was very good. Had the money bags as an appetizer but I found them dry on the inside so that's why I gave them 4 stars. I would definitely order from there again.
Always fresh and so delicious! My favourite Thai restaurant in NE Edmonton! Highly recommend this hidden gem.
I visited this place 4 yrs ago and moved back to Edmonton and came back this year again, the price was still the same, taste same!
I loved this place, and Im glad I came back to edmonton and be able to visit here again!!!☆
The hidden gem of Edmonton! It’s an authentic place for Thai food. I loved red curry with vermicelli noodles and stir fried vegetables.
Delicious food, nice service. Totally loved this place. Must try coconut ice cream.
We were there with our son and family for a special day. They had been missionarys in Cambodia for a year and speak Khmer well so were able to communicate with the owners. The food was wonderful and plentiful but they were not ready for a large party. Their " mise en place", was not done. If a restaurant has not prepared there "prep" a head, then they aren't ready to serve guests. However, we enjoyed the wait between courses and the atmosphere was fun. They would be a great business if they hired a manager who new how to train them in restaurant service and preparation, but the food was fab.
Great food. Cozy atmosphere. Portions are well sized. We ordered the money bags and Tom yum soup for appetizers and had pad thai and drunken fried rice as the mains. Staff were very friendly.
