Probably the best breakfast I've had in my life! My waffle was perfectly crisp, my smoked salmon was amazing and there were just the right amount of capers to flavor it. They didn't rely on cheese to flavor the dish, they dont even have cheese here. I'm very impressed, I highly recommend this place!
Excellent experience! Knowing all the great places in the area, my son took me here for a late breakfast. The server was awesome and the food was so enjoyable, along with good coffee. I had the waffle which was not soggy even though there were strawberries and a vanilla cream on top. The cream is thicker than whipped cream and very flavourful. The strawberries were fresh organic with wonderful flavour also. My son had the full breakfast and he loved everything on his plate. I will return and next time bring my husband for a treat!
We had a large table to kick off their Sunday brunch. I cannot say enough about the quality of the service. We never had to ask for anything. And the food...every single person at our table cleaned their plates and commented on how amazing their dish was! The atmosphere was also commented on as a neat place with great touches.

I am a constant costumer of Under The High Wheel and am always satisfied with their cuisine, and professionalism.
I think that Under the High Wheel is one of Edmonton's hidden secrets. A must go to for anyone who is looking for good wholesome and healthy food.

Went for breakfast and had to wait for a bit but soooo worth it! Ambiance is great and service was very friendly!! While waiting for a seat we went to the coffee bar and had great lattes!! Great Saturday start!

Perfect for an afternoon during the week, or a more exciting evening, if you’re looking to try something new, and absolutely WORTHY of flooding your tastebuds with mouth watering deliciousness.
We went during the week on a Wednesday. I’d recommend coming during the week as the seating area is smaller, and the staff informed me there are obviously longer waiting times during the weekends.

Came here for brunch and it was lovely! The servers were friendly. The menu has a small selection compared to other brunch places but the quality of each item was amazing. We got the sweet waffle and the traditional breakfast. The scrambled eggs were buttery and flavourful, and the cream on the fruit waffle was very fluffy and just the perfect level of sweetness. The honey chicken sausages were also tasty. Scoring a window seat on a rainy day gave us the perfect cozy brunch ambience.
The in-house orange juice is simply delicious! Very delicious! The colour, taste and tartness is perfect! Best homemade orange juice in the city.
The Belgian waffles are super tasty and delicious! Wether you go for the sweet or the savoury Belgian waffle, it’s the most delicious thing ever! I love the Chantilly cream, fruit and maple syrup are delicious. 🧇🍊🍓🫐🍇❤️

Absolutely delicious, best breakfast around, period. My wife and I both had the traditional breakfast and wouldn't change a single thing. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, great vibes from this little spot and truly can't wait to come back. It's also home to great coffee and the best London Fog I've ever had.
It's super delicious and cute place. The menu is reasonable altho I wish they had a few more breakfast items.. the waffles are fantastic . The eggs have a gamey taste or maybe it was the ones I got. Ita good place fresh fruit to top 👌
Had a delicious savory waffle for breakfast that was big enough for two of us to share. Pricy though. We also got a latte and a vanilla London fog, they were just standard. The service was excellent!
