After having went to Tres Carnales, and love love loving it, I would have thought that I would have been in love with the tacos here just as much as there. They’re good, no doubt. But I like the tacos much more at Tres Carnales🤷🏼♀️. We had the special mussels which were very good, and 4 types of tacos: fish, carne asada, chicken, and carnitas. The crane asada ones were my favourite. Everything was good, but I find their tortillas need some work? They’re a little on the heavy side, they rip very easy, and if you don’t eat the tacos quick enough then they were falling apart when we picked them up.
Cool date environment here. We will for sure go back and try other things.
Perfect place for a date, upscale yet relaxed.
We ate here on our recent trip to Edmonton. The food was excellent. The blend of flavors was uniqiue. Our group had the Platter fro 4 -- there was more than enough food for 4 people. The only downside was the music was a little too loud so it was difficult to enjoy conversation with our group. Despite this, the food was excellent. I will eat here again on my next trip to Edmonton.
I first have to say that I can't believe it took us so long to eat at Rostizado because we love their other restaurant Tres Carneles. While being seated, at the restaurant we were immediately welcomed by co-owner Chris Sills from behind the bar with a friendly smile. It has been a while since we visited Tres's so glad he remembered us!
1/4 rosti-beef plate was right up flavour-town alley! Potatoes could have used less salt for my liking but aside from that, muy, muy rico!!!
Queso Fundido, Shrimp and Chorizo, Roasted Cauliflower, Churros
Don't know why I've slept on this place for so long. This place is the tits though. Queso Fundido had mozza and Monterey Jack cheese, chorizo and potatoes on a homemade flour tortillas. This was a cheese lovers dream and is maybe big enough to be a main meal for one than just an appetizer. Cauliflower here seems like a half healthy thing to order but this is roasted in pork fat and just tastes ridic. The shrimp and chorizo was a main, and was one of the dopest things I've eaten. It had prawns, chorizo, queso oaxaco in pineapple salsa. It's served with a side of cilantro, onions, lime, totopos and tortillas. Super cray. Party in my mouth. Had to try out the Churros because it's fucking Churros. And these are the best in Edmonton. Not including the Oreo Churros at taco Time that are a crazy thing to even fathom. Churros are fried Mexican dough coated in sugar and cinnamon. Anyways, the churros are bomb and it's something you shouldn't miss.
Located on 104st right next to mercer. It's a dope place to eat with great service. Don't sleep on this place like I did. Modern Mexican food at it's finest.

My boyfriend and I came here before going to Rogers Place for a hockey game. The ambience is very romantic and I love the lights--very hip. The food was really great, unsurprisingly! I ordered a dish that was shrimp sauteed in olive oil served with bread (I could not possibly pronounce the name without butchering it). The sauce was so good that my boyfriend dipped his Gorditas in it! The table next to us got a platter for 2 which also looked amazing (and wish I ordered after I saw it). The servings are fair and the pricing isn't too expensive for a night out! I'd love to come here for another date night
PS. Order the churros, you will not regret it! I've never been able to find good churros in Edmonton until now! It's like I'm back in Mexico
Food was great. Had the banana halibut and empanadas for starters and the two person meal for dinner. Before dinner when sitting there were chips and salsa on the table we were not told they were 12.00 a tray..... 4 trays later as food took awhile to come out. We had a group of eight and the waitress kept placing more down without asking. When bill came her response was "well now you know" when we asked her about cost of chips and salsa. Service was suboptimal but food was tasty!
Sooo good. Staff was awesome, food was extremely flavourful and delicious, churro desert was the perfect ending. Some of the best margaritas we have ever had!
Came here with a friend around 4pm on a Tuesday, we got served immediately by a kind waiter. The waiter explained everything in detail to us- from the food to where the washrooms are. I had the Paloma(13$) drink which was really good. The 1/4 Rosti-pollo(22$), it was filling and it's a good portion. We had the churros(10$) for dessert,it was delicious and fresh. It came with a lot, we had to take some to go.
Stopped in before going to a concert at Rogers Place. Was very busy but sat on the patio. Ordered a margarita which was okay. Ordered the roasted cauliflower which i had read much about. The waitress suggested the Vegetales Rostizados. Both were good. Would I say its the best mexican food I've every had, no. Service was very good. I'm glad I stopped by to try it.
Evening visit. Very lively with loud music, fit the scene of this place well. Food great flavourful, similar to great Mexican restaurants like Kondesa in Cozumel. Service friendly well informed and efficient. Decor, furniture and space all well thought through. We shared two starters and a side dish, which was more than enough after a full lunch earlier at noon. Use the address on the restaurant web, Zomato link to Google maps would not get u there something experienced with other spots as well!
On the pricier side but worth it. Delicious, authentic Mexican food. You can sit overlooking the cooking area and chat with the chefs which is awesome. Super friendly
Downtown dining week is a perfect excuse to get out there and eat it up. At least it has been for me. Stopped in for Rostizado lunch special with a friend.
For starter I had the Sopa Azteca. Which was a thick creamy Chipotle broth with shredded chicken and pieces of tortilla. I really enjoyed this soup. It was a wee bit on the spice side for me, but I'm a weakling when it comes to heat in my diet.
Second coarse i went with the Huarache de Pollo. Basically it was spiced pulled chicken on top of a potato tart. I really enjoyed the potato tart bit and thought it was kind of original. There was also some pickled enoki mushrooms and onions. I'm not totally sure if those fit in with the dish. they were just a little over powering. A side salad was included. It was simple bright salad with some unique flavor that I couldn't pin down.
Gotta say I was happy with my meal but there was nothing that made me say wow. Which was kind of disappointing considering how much hype this restaurant has been getting.
As soon as I walked in I knew I would like it. The server knew the menu very well and was very good at recommending which foods to try since never being there.
The two of us decided to get an appetizer of diver scallops-which was delicious! Then opted for the platter for 2 with 2 half sides (roasted cauliflower, and rostizado vegetables which were all very good! The cauliflower was so good.
Also had polomas as drinks and those were good I had 3, and so did my dinner partner. I would definitely go back
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at Rostizado. I'm not a fan of Tres Carnales, so I didn't have high hopes for this place. 4 of us shared the platter for 4 that came with 1/2 chicken, pork tenderloin, amazing roasted potatoes, mini tortillas, and some sauces (salsa verde was one of them). Everything was so flavourful and fresh; chicken and pork were perfectly cooked. Oh, and the churros were unbelievable!!!
Rostizado is one of my favourite restaurants in Edmonton. The rotisserie is decently good, but if you want to optimize your trip here I would suggest to order a few of the appetizers and then save room for dessert. I wish I could remember the names of what I ordered, but I tried about 5 or 6 of the smaller dishes on the menu and they were all amazing. Also you must save room for churros. You must.
We went to Rostizado for the first time tonight. It was an excellent experience. Everything we ordered, from the food, to the drinks, was spot on. We had the platter for two, and the Romaine hearts for dinner. It was more than enough food, and it was all delicious. On our platter was the chicken and the pork, roasted potatoes and some pickled veg. The chicken was unreal. My fiancé couldn't get enough of it. The potatoes were light and fluffy and the pork had great flavour. (Heads up, the pickled pepper is actually a pickled chilly, and it's friggen hot, but it was tasty). My fiancé got the margarita and the sangria. Both were great. And we got the Churros for dessert, despite being stuffed, and they did not disappoint, crunchy and light. Our server was Kathryn, and she was refreshingly great. You don't always get great service these days, but she was timely, friendly, very knowledgable about the food and helpful. Will definitely return.
This is not your average Mexican restaurant. The food, ambiance and patrons are upscale and I definitely felt quite at home and thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. One of the owners also chatted with us twice and he was as charming as the restaurant itself. I would definitely recommend anyone to dine here and will be back.
I had the rotisserie chicken which was delicious and my friend had the rotisserie pork (which I'm going to have next time!). The pork came with a dipping sauce that was to die for!
We both had a portion of roasted cauliflower and I would highly recommend this flavourful and oh so tasty dish. (I'm not a fan of cauliflower and I could eat this as a main meal). We should have shared a portion as we both had leftovers of the cauliflower and our main courses.
Desert was outstanding and we shared the Churros that's an absolute must!
I love colour and the only reason I could not give the plate (and presentation of the food) a 100% was because of the lack of colour on the plate. The chicken, roasted potatoes, etc. were all variations of browns with only the dipping sauces adding colour. But make no mistake, I'll be back!!
The service was excellent and the food was good but I don't think it qualifies as authentic Mexican. The rub on the rotisserie chicken tasted like Jamaican jerk chicken and the hot sauce we requested (because the sauces that came with the dish barely qualified as 'spicy') tasted like Jamaican scotch bonnet hot sauce (also not very spicy). Personally, I would have liked to see fresh vegetables served with the mostly meat dish--though other people at the table strongly disagreed with me, lol.
Portion sizes were small. We ordered what was recommended for our party of 5 but the two tradesmen who work hard labour jobs at our table were still hungry afterwards.
Very hipster crowd; we felt a little out of place as none of us were wearing thick-rimmed glasses or plaid shirts, or sleeve tattoos.
Although some old favourites have left the Rostizado menu, the new dishes have proven that they were worth the switch. Rostizado continues to bring modern Mexican dishes to the Edmonton food scene and keeps us excited with new flavour combinations. Stop by the Mercer Warehouse for a taste of the new menu - and say hi when you see me eating plates of the scallop aguachile!
I’ve no doubt that Rostizado would surf its perfect wave irrespective of outside forces, for the original Tres – Dani, Chris, and Edgar – have crafted a menu of victuals that handily challenges long-standing presumptions of what constitutes Mexican food. Who knew that rotisserie chicken was so popular south of the border, or that a skillet of melted cheese could be so noble? The entire menu confirms that everything shilled by the bygone Chihuahua of dubious fast food is wrong. Today, Rostizado launches a new menu. Queso Fundido is a cheese-lover’s fantasy come through. Melted mozza and Monterey Jack hold together spicy chorizo and toothsome roasted potatoes. House-made flour tortillas are as flaky as pie pastry, but far more flexible. Lively white sangria washes everything down quite nicely.
Very funky venue, excellent service and the food was decent. I wasn't blown away by the ceviche but the sandwich on special was tasty and the mini potatoes served with it were very flavourful.
The Pretentious Food Snob
+3.5
One of the newer restaurants in the Edmonton scene, Rostizado is owned and managed by the same people that opened Tres Carnales. I feel that it’s important to mention this, as I’ve had generally positive experiences at Tres Carnales.
The food, service and ambiance are on-point, and it doesn’t pretend to be anything that it isn’t.
So what happens when experienced restaurateurs attempt to move up-market?
…
Well, apparently things work out pretty well.
Very good higher end authentic Mexican restaurant. Went by myself after work. Very busy, but I sat at the small bar. Had the gorditos (app) and roasted cauliflower.
It was great. I really want to go back to try more.
The decor is great.
I love how you feel far away from Canada in both restaurant the owners have.
It's located right by Mercer Tavern, by the new Arena. There's a few meters around, and there's a small parking lot where you can pay to park. It's also a relatively close walk from Bay-Enterprise square station, which is fine during the spring/summer, but can be a bit daunting during the winter. It can be hard to get a table at times, but they have this app where you can go and reserve tables. It was a nice summer day, so we decided to sit on the patio (but forewarning, you can't order from their rotisserie menu if you sit on the patio).
Again, since we sat on the patio, I didn't get a chance to experience any of their rotisserie, so I will definitely have to come back and try that! Instead, me, Lequyen, and Thomas decided to share a few aappetizer, the Queso Fundido, Gorditas, and Tamales.
Food was delicious! Decor and atmosphere was gorgeous! The only thing I found worth docking points was there service. We were seated on the patio and didn't get very consistent service. We actually never received the waters we had ordered TWICE. Other than that it's one of my favorites!
I absolutely love this resturant, they have some of the best chicken I have ever had in the city, and their cauliflower and potatoes are to die or kill for. the atmosphere is great and the staff are even better. Cannot recommend this place more.
Seriously the best service and best food in Edmonton. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, it was an extremely positive experience. Our server Nick was extremely knowledgable and very well spoken. He explained everything to us and provided us with the best service you could even imagine. When we were done our meal and finished up, we said we didn't want dessert as we were both students on a budget but Nick brought us a couple churros for free because he wanted us to have something. It was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend it.
Outstanding! I've never dined at a high end Latino Restaurant before - Wonderfull first time experience.
Venue: Loved the decor and ambiance of this venue - Urban, retro-chic with Spanish textiles. I appreciated the various seating options available: On the patio you can enjoy yeg's famous 104 St scenery, or inside they have pub style tables, booth seating, traditional tables, bar seating, private dining and if you feel like something more causal and cozy, they even have sofa seating. It felt like you could be dining at a friends loft or something. Oh, and they had a live DJ spinning which was pretty groovy.
The Staff: Knowing anything on 104 St is pretty busy, especially on a Friday, we used the NoWait app to book our table and it worked out seamlessly! When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess and one of the owners, Chris Sills. He didn't introduce himself as such but I recognized him from a photo in an review I had read online. They were very welcoming, asking us if it was our first time etc. Chris kept us company and made some recommendations off the menu while the hostess prepared our table. Our waitress was also wonderful.
Food: Its all about the shared rotisserie platters here! We enjoyed a half of the dry rubbed local 'Four Whistle Farm' chicken, which comes with Rosti-Papas (roasted potatoes) tortillas & salsa, and we ordered a 'Para Acompañar' of roasted cauliflower. Absolutely delish! For dessert we ordered the churros con dulce de leche - AMAZING! A yeg favourite for sure!
Rostizado is a pretty small mexican restaurant in Edmonton. It’s pretty cozy inside and the servers are super nice. One problem with the small place is the waiting time if you get there too late. We decided to sit at the bar or have to wait an hour for a table to free up. Ceviche De Robalo. The first appetizer we got was the Ceviche De Robalo. The sea bass is really fresh and soaked in the lemon juice with orange and avocado slices. It is a good appetizer to start off the meal.
Good chicken tortillas. Needs another couple bathrooms. $100 for 2 including drinks & desert. A bit loud. Nice atmosphere. Aaaarrrriiibbbaaaa!
Be warned that they like their spice here. The food was great but the portion sizes are a bit small for some dishes. The churros are amazing though. Must try. The service could have been better as we were ignored upon entering the place. The booking process for a larger party is a bit ridiculous as you have a sign a contract and pre-order.
Great ambiance, friendly service and terrific food. I've only come for lunch, it's hard to get in for dinner since they don't do reservations. The cemitas are delicious and a great deal if you don't feel like splurging on a platter. Piled with flavorful roast chicken or pork and spicy condiments. I recommend trying their soup, it changes but never disappoints. Roast cauliflower is a must. As is a cocktail! The Paloma is a refreshing summery tequila cocktail that goes down easy. A nice partner to their other restaurant Tres Carnales, but don't compare them, they might both be Mexican but each bring different things to the table.
Amazing service, fun wait staff!!!. Had an amazing meal here tonight, the fries cheese appetizer was incredible! The roast chicken is by far the best I have had in edmonton- Must try the roasted cauliflower!!!! All in all a worderful addition to yeg! Your food and wait staff will bring me back again and again !!!
Delicious! Ever since I came here I crave it every day!
Love it love it love it!!
The best in the province I dare say
Great Time. Three friends and I decided to give Rostizado a try after hearing good things from many people. We had a reservation for 7pm on Monday, we were greeted and seated very quickly. We shared everything we order so we could all try as much as possible. We ordered the smoked salmon sopes, Queso fundido, and Tamales as appies. Each one had great flavor and presentation, my favorite being the tamale. We also ordered the platter for 2, the roasted cauliflower, and grilled romaine hearts. The meats on the platter were great along with this accompaniments. As someone who dislikes cauliflower I was blown away by there roasted cauliflower, I could not stop eating it! Even though we were all beyond full we decided to try the churros before we left and I was very happy we did. They were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, whatever they serve with it is delicious as well. All in all I had a great time, I have recommended Rostizado to lots of other people. I would definitely return.
Rostizado is a bold addition to the Edmonton dining scene. Although created by the team of Tres Carnales, they take a different approach to dining serving up immense protein rich mains, cool and refreshing salsas and tasty accompanying sides. In the end, the food was excellent with delightfully tender meats and well executed sides with a twist in Mexican flavours. A definite visit for anyone in town.
It was my first time today
I have been in it before when it was a coffee shop, nice place, atmosphere good food the only take on it is that all the salsa / sauses they serve are close in texture and ingredients they are missing a creamy (sour cream / aioli yougert base) dressing with a Mexican twist.
I asked for sour cream and it was a surprise when the server said that they don't have it especially with all the Mexican theme that's happening at the restaurant
Good service too
Good but prefer tres carnales. Came here for a double date on Friday night. There's an app that allows you to check in so we didn't have to wait too long which is great. The server was very knowledgeable and had genuine interest in ensuring we understood the menu and made great recommendations. We ordered drinks, appetizers and food. The restaurant ambiance has a non stop buzz and the food is definitely paced to make the dining experience last. The menu is a bit pricey and the food is good, lots of spicy flavour but in comparison in value and quality to its sister restaurant it can't really compete. The server was great when she was around however unfortunately that wasn't often. Our waters were often found empty and refills were requested several times. It probably won't make it on my regular restaurant rotation but the churros for dessert are a must try if you go. I would have redone the whole meal and just had three orders of that.
Fantastic! We had a seat at the bar and our bartender made the experience very memorable. Love the no wait app, very clever. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere!
Remember how I think Tres Carnales is overhyped and not worth it? Well... this place is.... Underhyped and well worth it!!! I mean, I've never been to a high end Mexican restaurant before. That's probably what makes it so great. It's always been Taco Bell, Mucho Burrito, Famous fast food mexican food in Vegas, and Tres Carnales.
I love this place because of its decor and the service. Mostly because of the cauliflower with chili and cilantro though... hahaha... The sandwiches are quite nice too with the beef slices and what not. The nachos were nothing too spectacular but the sauces were good.
i found the price point for lunch decent but it could be because work paid for it :) I would come back for dinner and pay out of my own pocket though. It's in a quiet downtown neighborhood but doesn't feel too ghetto. It's cool. Check this place out!
P.S. I love the Men's bathroom...I wanted to chill in there forever. You'll see what I mean.
Great!. Yes it is a lil pricey but the portions are huge and delicious. The chimmichuri sauce is amazing and their roasted cauliflower a must try. Were definitely going back
So good. What a breath of fresh air!
I knew the Tres Carnales guys would do a wonderful job but I was overwhelmed
We had the ceviche, the jicama salad, tamales and roasted cauliflower. The ingredients' freshness was on full display and the flavours were superb.
They were also great about accommodating my wife's Celiac disease.
Will be back for certain.
Must go back. Ordered the dinner for two platter that came with a portion of roasted pork, chicken and the best oven roasted potatoes I ever had. I went with 2 of my friends and the portion was more than enough for us. We even had leftovers to take home. I quite enjoyed the food as well as the atmosphere. I would definetly recommend this place.
Small menu, big flavour. Looking forward to my next visit.. We reserved a table of ten on a Friday night(minimum 8 people). You have to put down a credit card, Establish a set menu and even fill out a form. But if your willing to jump through a few hoops, I think this is the way to go.
The weather out was terrible so we were a bit late getting everyone seated and ended up being 2 people short. It never seemed to be an issue with our sever, even though I've read many reviews on poor service and strict wait times. They were quite fair. One other thing I'd like to mention is the lady who takes the reservations is very helpful and made the process run very smoothly.
To start we had some chips and salsa until everyone arrived. But of course this wasn't just Pace chunky and Tostitos. Pasillla tomatillo salsa, pumpkin seed chile de arbol salsa and pico de gallo is exactly how I like to start off my evening. Special mention about the pumpkin seed chile de arbol, We all thought it was going to be bad, Ended up being the favorite.
Our appetizers were smoked salmon sopes, tamales and ceviche. The sopes were a nice balance between a light crisp corn base, Lightly smoked salmon and a guacamole cream sauce. Very gentle with a long lasting corn flavour. The tamales were my favorite, But tamales in general are my favorite. I'm used to eating these out of a steam cart in the street, So when they came out nicely plated but with that same street cart flavour(maybe even a little more) I was a happy camper. The ceviche was definitely a new way, I'm not familiar with. I wont say its bad, But I find the butter citrus flavour better suited to other applications, That might just be me. Personally a nice simple Baja ceviche would have suited myself(and most of the others) better.
The main course was roast chicken, Pork and Potatoes along with grilled romaine hearts and roasted cauliflower. To be honest, We were nearing full at this point and we hadn't even started our main course yet. The chicken and pork were succulent, juicy and packed with flavour. the "Mexican pesto" that it came with really elevated an already full flavoured meal. The potatoes were somewhat just potatoes, Nothing too special with those. Our grilled romaine hearts was a refreshing take on a salad. It was a complex dish, balancing the chicharron and green olives is no small feat. I'd almost say a must eat when going. The roast cauliflower is no exception, great flavours that turned a side vegetable into a main attraction. Cumin, Citrus, Chile de arbol and Cilantro turned this into a powerful dish I wont soon be forgetting.
The dessert was also very nice, Churros con de leche. Crunchy churro with a Mexican style custard. what's not to like. Had anyone found any room left they would have gotten eaten.
The only downside to the night out was the amount of time it took. the appetizers came out fast and stuck around for almost 2 hours, The main course was packed up quite quickly as she could tell we were all done. At that point we all wanted the bill and to sleep off this monstrous feast. But it was another hour until the dessert came out and at that point we weren't interested in much else than the bill.
The food was good. I love Mexican food, But its not a fine dinning experience. its a family platter style meal that was done with expert skill. I found the food came out a bit slow, But had the opposite scenario happened I'd have a lot more to say about it. Definitely the lesser of 2 evils. one other quick mention, the drink menu is quite limited and beer selection is sub par. unless your a tequila buff it's not a place to go for a drink.
Overall, It might be a bit on the pricey side of a platter style meal and my experience was a bit slow, But don't miss out on this place, This group makes the best Mexican food in the city hands down. As long as you go in with a mindset that its more dinner party style than it is fine dinning you'll have a great time. 8/10
Birthday Night. Wife and I took our mother in law out for her birthday. Ordered the chips & salsa (w/Pasilla-tomatillo) to start and the dinner for 2 (pork/chicken combo) with a side of roasted cauliflower. Everything tasted fresh with awesome flavor. I think the only thing I wasn't prepared for was how spicy the pork was but that's just personal preference. Finished off with the churros that were fantastic! Shout out to our server (forgot to get name) but she was very friendly and great assistance with recommendations.
Amazing food. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff. It doesn't get much better!
Delicious. Went to Rostizado for the first time and had an incredible meal. Blew my expectations away.
The ceviche was some of the best I've ever tasted, the chicken was tender and flavorful, and the churros were delicious.
Great value for the price, its rare you can have a meal of this quality and try a dish from every course plus multiple drinks and still have a bill under $100. Its also rare that when you order so many items you have difficulty ranking which was your favourite because they were all so good. They aren't just doing one thing really really well, they're doing it all really great.
Service was as good as it gets, friendly, attentive and made great recommendations, can't recall having service this awesome anywhere. Will be coming back and bringing more people with me.
Second time eating here, this time as part of a birthday reservation with a set $45 menu. First off- staring the obvious, the space is beautiful with the atmosphere to match. The birthday girl's name was printed on the menu and that attention to detail really makes an evening special. Our server was friendly and always kept our water glasses full- which is a must with Mexican food. The value of the menu with the price was very reasonable - with the highlight of the dinner being the meat platters and the churros for dessert! I thought in between meals they could have been a little bit quicker. We were there for more than 3+ hours and at the end of the night, before everyone had their bills- the lights were being turned off. All in all, will be back again. The roasted cauliflower was one of the best prepared vegetables I've ever had!
Dropped by on Friday night around 7. Hostess let us know it would be a 2 hr wait for a table but we were welcome to sit on the couches, have a drink & an appetizer while we waited. We were still up in the air about the rest of our night so decided that sounded good. We stayed for nearly 2 hours, had a couple of drinks & an order of the tamales. The drinks were great - Casa margarita (not it's real name, I just can't remember it) was the best margarita I've ever tasted. Sadly it was my husbands so I gave it back. I has the Bonita which was tasty, a little spicy and went down quite smoothly. The tamales actually kind of scared me when reading it on the menu b/c I didn't like the sound of the polenta, but my husband was starving so I let him choose. I'm so glad I tried them! The flavours of the entire dish have left me wanting to come back for more! The meat had a spicy kick, and was so tasty combined with the polenta. This was our first visit to Rostizado but it won't be our last. The decor was fun, interesting, different. The STAFF...happiest crew I've ever encountered. The hostess (sorry I didn't ask her name) was genuinely welcoming and made us feel like we were being invited into her home. Chris, one of the owners, was walking around, checking on customers, changing records and also making everyone feel so welcome. I honestly can't think of any other place that has made me feel so welcome, relaxed and at ease. I can't wait to come back with more friends.
The decor the cozy ambiance straight down to the music was perfect! We had an amazing waiter who knew exactly what he was talking about when we asked about the drinks and menu. Food was great! Ceviche was my favorite, very fresh and since cactus doesn't have the ceviche anymore. I'll definitely be back. CHURROS WAS THE BOMB. paired with a sweet mixture of milk to dip in, melt in your mouth perfection.
Great food!. A group of 6 of us had dinner at Rostizado's last night. The food was excellent and service was attentive but not overbearing. My chicken tamales were filling and perfectly seasoned for my taste - not too spicey but with a bit of bite. The soup of the day (a tomatoe broth with some avocado) was very very good. I would have been happy with just the soup. The flan for dessert was oh so smooth and decadent. The menu is reasonably varied and I will be going back again to try other dishes. Getting a reservation can be a challenge but when we arrived at 5 pm it was not busy. By 6 pm it was almost full so would suggest you go early unless you can get a reservation which is normally only available for tables of 8 or more.
Great food! Not as great for small groups or couples as the majority of the tables are shared large tables, but fantastic for larger groups. Delicious food and great ambiance. Will definitely go again!
Great service and delicious food. Our server (Andy) was super knowledgable about all the food items and drinks. We were a large party and she was very friendly and gave a top notch service! The rotisserie pork was absolutely amazing!
Great energy, amazing service and even better food. The guys at Tres took everything that made their restaurant the talk to of town, and brought it to a whole new level at Rostizado. As soon as you walk in, you feel completely at home. The service is friendly, yet professional. You can tell that the food is cooked from the soul, and every dish tells a story about how incredible authentic Mexican cuisine really is!
