Ethically sourced coffee with roasts that bring out the distinct flavours. Very knowledgeable staff who are friendly and helpful. Fun indoor market vibe with patio seating available on 3 sides of the building (seasonal of course, it's Alberta!) Housemade syrups make the difference in chai, lavender, maple spice, etc drinks - delicious. Highly recommend!

Best instant coffee money can buy! It’s insane that they can produce this quality of coffee. I often take it skiing , mountain biking, and every camping trip I go on.

Two strikes from our recent visit: Unreliable outdoor seating and no reusable mugs.
1. I arrived at 8am with a few work friends on our way down 76th thinking that with such beautiful weather we could sit outside. Unfortunately the baristas had not set up the outdoor seating, and even when we expressed interest in it, they still hadn't set it up by the time we left nearly an hour later. Without outdoor seating in the summer, this place loses a lot of appeal.
2. I asked for a ceramic mug for my to-stay drink, but they said they only have paper cups. To me this demonstrates a lack of focus on environmental sustainability, and I wonder what other unsavory and less visible business practices are happening in this shop.
I was trying to start a regular bike-to-work coffee stop here with a 6-12 people, but with this first experience I may struggle to get the team on-board for more visits to this location.

One of the pillars of coffee snobbery in Edmonton, and justifiably so! Argyll blend is always amazing, in addition to the many other flavors profiles they offer from nutty and chocolate to bright and fruity. Truly one of the best!

Yummy chai lattes but now I just buy the concentrate at London Drugs and make my own at home.

Great work place cafe/meat shop/craft beer tasting restaurant... YES they have all of those in place. The beer area usually opens up around late evenings and does busy. Meat shop and coffee cafe are right next to each other and open with according hours.
I’ve come here multiple times when I wanted to get work done. They have outlets and plenty of tables for groups or individuals.
Staff is nice and menu is reasonably priced. Would recommend you come here if you’re aren’t looking for a super busy coffee shop that you can work in. It isn’t library quiet so best bring headphones.

While visiting my daughter's new home and work place I naturally had to sample Transcend Coffee to see what all the hype was about. The atmosphere was soothing and the coffee was superb ! Service of course was stellar and my daughter got two thumbs up from her dad for a wonderful coffee date !

So we got our coffee yesterday, today we read about it and my husband made a pot and this is what he said: "That guy makes some good f*#ing good beans. All that carrying that s#*t up and down the mountain and drying and whatever paid off. He knew what he's f*#ing doing." I happen to agree with him.
