Try to keep this brief. 5:00 on a Wednesday in March. I travel around the country for my work and was in the food business for 40 years. This is one of , if not the very best run restaurants I have been in. Place is busy at 5:00 on a Wed. That should tell you something. Beer selection is unreal. my server Michaela(sorry if I spelled that wrong) could teach others how to serve. The training this staff receives certainly shows. And finally the food. Some of the best pub food I have ever had. Don't normally write reviews but this place blew me away. Well done to management and staff I will be back.(Wish I had shares in this place)
This is probably my favourite place to go for food and drinks. One of the only places with cider on tap, and their wings are always the best. The atmosphere and staff are great as well.
The service was great, the food and beer was awesome, and the roof top patio is the best!!! Great way to spend a birthday 🎉

One of the best places in Downtown Edmonton. Excellent service and what to say about food also outstanding. The perfect ambiance to spend the time with friends in a casual atmosphere. With 100 different kinds of draft beers with an amazing choice of local beer make of this place an excellent choice for your next exit in downtown.

Rolled in after an event at the Hotel Mac, asked our server, Lydia, to hook us up with beers and appitizers, shots, etc. Didn't need to ask for anything after that, she just knew when to bring us another round. Amazing experience, will definately be back. Give that girl a raise (and a promo tab)!

Amazing beer selection. Went her after X Warrior race in edmonton. Such a beautiful layout. Again I could go on and on about selection of beers.
And the food was great (had brunch, had chicken tacos).

My first time here. Really enjoyed it. Service was great. I'm not much of a beer person but had to try the Granville Island Maple Shack Cream Ale ...wow, great beer! The Brunch Breakfast Tacos were very tasty and creative. I will be going back.

Had a great experience here today! Great food, great service, and great atmosphere! This reservation was to make up for a prior experience that wasn’t as great. And they definitely made it up! Will be going back for sure.
Lovely little place for a great pint or two and a meal. Loved the Maui ribs but my spouse's gnochi was rather naff on our most recent visit. Was very busy with the pre-game NHL crowd, so hopefully just a one time problrm.
Ambiance was good. I ordered the ahi poke bowl and really enjoyed it. Food was delicious and portion was generous as well. Would definitely go again!
Most beautiful rooftop patio in Edmonton! Perfect for a girls night out for drinks and small appys. Large seating area meant almost no wait although be prepared to look for parking in downtown. Wide range of entrees and craft beer options. A little on the pricier side but worth the price for the view.
I came here as part of an office event. Actually it was my retirement lunch. I it's not my first visit but its been a while. I was surprised at how large it looks in here. The decor is very much to my liking. Today for some reason I ordered the Mac and Cheese. I almost never order that except as a side dish. It was quite nice. I chased it down with a glass of local Yellowhead Lagar. The service was great and the food was better than average for brew pub style restaurants. The location is perfect for almost anyone downtown as it's right on Rice Howard Way. I will certainly come back although the prices seemed to be a couple of dollars higher than average. I guess they have to pay for the nice decor and location somehow. The extra money won't break the bank
though.

I always enjoy my experience at Craft. They have a large beer selection and the servers are very knowledgeable about all of them. The food is also very good (especially the deep fried pickles!) and they have great happy hour deals!
One of the few Rooftop Patios (RTPs) in Edmonton! Great beer selection and the service was quick and efficient. RTPs are my favorite type of patios because of the great views. Unfortunately, this RTP doesnt really have much of view as you are obstructed by walls on 3 sides. Decent music playlist also.
ONE CHANGE: A beer/food special would be a great idea.
Food came our crazy fast even though I was in a party of 20 we told the server we were in a rush and the experience was great food was exellent

My Dinner Club went here last night for our Patio Time themed meeting. Hubby and I got there early to put our name in the patio waiting list and an hour later we got our table just in time for Dinner Club. Great patio, lovely waitress, and lots of food and drink made for a super evening in the sun.
With 100 beers on tap we had to try a brew or two. My hubby liked Shock Top Belgian White and I enjoyed local YEG Ally Kat Main Squeeze Grapefruit Ale Edmonton. A few of us also had some cocktails like the unique honey and cinnamon flavored sangria (may we recommend pitchers for sharing that and mojitos, and big kid lemonade...that would have been perfect).
Appetizers we enjoyed were the Mediterranean Platter with delicious falafel balls and green garbanzo hummus...we needed to ask for more veggies as there wasn't a lot and there was so much dip. Waitress recommended the Korean Turkey Lettuce Wraps which were fantastic.
Hubby and I shared Gaucho chicken flatbread and poutine (yum for both) other friends had the gorgeous looking Tomahawk Pork Chop, Butternut Squash ravioli, T.L.T (seared tuna) Sandwich (no photos). All enjoyed. We shared the scrumptious Dessert in a Jar: sponge toffee cake, bananas, vanilla gelato, chocolate sauce!
Great place for a pub night or patio time!
First time going to Craft Beer Market. I gotta say that I loved it. Great beer, great food, and great service. Bartender was really helpful when it came to the drink menu. Ordered some food, which was pretty fast and freshly made. Would definitely go back any day of the week.
I'm not a huge fan of the food that I've had at craft, but I would definitely go here for a beer anyway and they have a couple good desserts. The tacos were very flavourless and boring. I like the atmosphere in there and their upstairs patio is sooo beautiful.

Positives: Their GF bun is excellent. We had appies, a variety of drinks, and multiple entrees and no one complained. The beer can chicken was not dry. The macaroni was cooked al dente and was cheesy enough, the tuna lettuce and tomato was fresh crisp and worth it. Absolutely yummy French fries. We added extra cheese chicken and avocado Servers were helpful and attentive. The local sampler was an excellent cross section of beers. The root beer on tap is yum. ....Bathrooms are clean.
Negatives: a bit bland... Fresh ground pepper would help some? Chilly space.
Overall will be back. Would recommend to friends.

What a pleasure!
Stopped in for lunch today. Admitedly, as it was Family Day, it may not have been as busy as usual. Downtown as a whole was very quiet.
Regardless...our experience left us wanting more.
Building is impressive. 2 levels inside and a roof top patio I imagine is quite a draw in warmer times. Atmosphere was great and tables are well space so that even when busy, you would have ample room. Staff were friendly and our server was fantastic, honest and helpfull.
I had one mere glass if beer from the impressive offering of...well...craft beer. My wife indulged in a sampler consisting of 6 glasses.
The food...
We decided to share four appatizers to "make the most" of our experience.
Fried Pickles were excellent and less greasy than others I have tried. Korean Satay lettuce wraps were also really good. A well delivered dish. Hawaiian Ahi Poke was our least favorite. Still good...but a lite too nuch sauce for my wifes liking. The most unique dish...Fast Food Sushi. An interesting East-meets-West concoction.
All in all...we were really impressed, and will indeed return!
It's your standard pub with an extensive beer menu. Food is standard with mostly fried options with steak and chicken. Tough to complain especially because they have quite a large seating area making it an easy go-to when looking for a spot during peak hours.
Enjoy the look of the place, the food is pretty good, drink selection is great lots of beers to try from around the world. Don't mind the drive in from Sherwood Park.
This place is packed on weekends or after work. Nice place to chill n get some beer. They have a good variety of beer and the bartenders are pretty nice too.
Quite the variety of different beers to choose from. I liked that they had a sample tray of six small glasses you can try . The food was very good although their so called " Inferno Burger" , which was quite good, was anything but inferno . There was literally no heat to it at all.
I spent a pleasant few hours at this establishment one afternoon, not merely because it is a nice place, but because they boast an impressive 100 different beers on tap. I noted, during that visit, that they do a brunch on Sundays and so I made a point of checking it out on the second to last day of my vacation…
I like the industrial space, and they have a nice rooftop patio (which is only open when they are busy). Expect to pay about 8-10 dollars for a beer which is a little high for Edmonton. Food is pretty solid quality
Always an enjoyable place to hang out with friends. Rooftop patio gives a diff atmosphere compared to other restaurants.
My fav appie is always the Hawaiian Ahi Poke served with fried wonton skin. The Ahi Poke is fresh with an addicting vinaigrette sauce. The coconut mussels are also very tasty. The Mac n cheese is baked with cheese, bacon and jalapeño, which gives a good zest of flavors.
Always a good time with great service! The servers are very attentive and friendly :)

Establishment: Clean venue. Was impressed with the overall look and layout of Craft. The look was rustic chic - very urban. And they have 3 floors to choose from - with various seating options such as booths, pup style tables and regular tables. It also felt spacious which is nice. Though we chose to dine on their gorgeous rooftop patio, the stairs were forgiving.
Staff: Our waitress was excellent and the rest of the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The Food and Drinks: I had the House Made Bolognese entree and my friend ordered the fish tacos from the appetizer menu. They had local beers on special so we both paired our meals with a pint of #Yegs own Alley Kat beer. 👌🏼👌🏼We were in summer patio glory - next time we intend to try their Sangria. A table across from us ordered it and it looked delicious!
💡The only thing I'd recommend to them is to consider serving their beer in frosted pints on hot summer days, especially on their rooftop. Our beers were pretty warm before our glasses were half full - no one likes warm beer.
Great first time experience!
I went to Craft with my friend after he had gone once before and had enjoyed it. I was a bit skeptical since I thought it would be like any other subpar chain restaurant. The place was busy on a Wednesday evening, but we were greeted promptly and were able to get a spot on the patio. I was very pleased with the service as our server was very friendly and attentive, as well as the other wait staff who came by to check on us. I ordered the grilled west coast salmon and really enjoyed it, but the star of the meal was definitely the sangria. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did but wow, I was very impressed. This is a great spot in downtown to grab a bite or get drinks, and I will definitely be back.
The other night, I was privileged enough to attend the Gluten Free Brewmasters Dinner at Craft Beer Market downtown Edmonton . It was excellent! We were seated at a table with all of the Brewmasters and we learned so much about the making of Gluten Free Beer. For example, there are some companies that make their regular beer and then use enzymes or even separation methods to remove the gluten produced by the barley malt. While other companies opt to use rice malt instead and then produce a gluten free beer. According to the information provided at the event, each of the beers we sampled were able to register at most as less than 10 ppm which enables them to be gluten free.
Good beer selection and trendy atmosphere. Food was decent, not blow you away but on par with similar trendy pub-like spots in edmonton. I particularly tend to order the gaucho chicken flatbread which all the servers say is one of their favorites. It's got a bruschetta-like quality/taste and the chipotle sauce drizzled on top is a good addition. Seems to be a solid place to grab lunch or after work drinks if you work downtown.
Service was good, the waitress moved tables around to set up our ~10 person group. Food and drink came fast for a busy Friday night.
Room was cool and modern with out being to flashy or overly 'hipster'. everything was nice and clean. I make note of this because pub style places don't always focus on cleanliness as much as they should.
Music was there but not stupid loud like lots of other so-called 'pubs'.
I stuck with pub classics of nachos and poutine but all the food that came to the table looked good.
An overall good place.
The hostess at the front couldn't be less welcoming, helpful, or any more useless. The place is starting to show its wear, ripped fabric in booths, etc. However, the classic burger was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. The lettuce wraps (appetizer) was huge and the maincourse Mac & Cheese won rave reviews from a friend. The beer menu was overwhelming but our server was really great, even offering a taste to help one friend decide. The only 4 desserts offered were all very heavy with ice cream so I wasn't able to have something. Disappointing. The brownies won rave reviews from friends. It was a lazy Sunday evening that we visited was October 26/2014.
Get a Burger. Burgers are amazing.
The place to be!. Boyfriend and I were out on a date night tonight and went to Craft for the second time. 1) amazing service--we had Rebecca and she was Stellar! Fast, attentive, funny. 2) great food--had the ahi tuna poke, taquitos, brisket and ribs. DELICIOUS. 3) manager sean came around himself to check on things 4) fun atmosphere with a wide variety of groups!
Nothing more to want in a date night.
Great Service, Good Food........ About a hundred beers on the menu, as i'm not a drinker none were had, however, if you have 25 or 30 of them, i would suggest NOT attempting to use the bathroom, one flight below.....all apps were 8 bucks, which were worth the price, i don't think i would have enjoyed it as much if i'd paid sticker price....i'd do it again, someday!!!

Will go back many times. I've been here about three times now and each time the service has been great. I really like the atmosphere and I like how it is both a place you can come to drink and hang out as well as a great place to eat. I like the layout of the bar, though there's the ability to sit along and keep to yourself in many areas there's also a very open concept that encourages conversation among people. I've gone three times and I will go again because the food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and genuine (friendly but not coated in sugar) and well... the beer.
The only downside is that the beer is very expensive, some beer that you can get other places regularly cost $1-3 more here. That being said, they have beer you can't find anywhere else.
Just lovely! Took my mom here for both of our first time. We shared a lettuce wrap appy and a flatbread chicken pizza. Both had amazing flavor burst. We also got a beer sampler after our first beer and enjoyed the variety. The service was fantastic and the patio cannot be beat anywhere else. I'll be back!
Great patio! Loved the lobster salsa and crab cakes! My husband had the tuna sandwich and enjoyed that as well.
Not a beer connaisseur but decent food and service!. On a business trip in Edmonton and found this place near the Westin hotel. What a gem for beer lovers! I did not sample any beers but I must say the service was great and the food was equally good. they have decent specials on a daily basis and the exposed beer draft pipes make this place unique. I would recommend this place for their 100 something beers and their specials. i would not recommend the hummous & veggie.
Enjoyed my evening there. Got seated near the bar area. I observed the people sitted next to us after got served their menus and waters before us. We waited a bit for someone to approach us: to say hi, offer water or drinks and the menus. I was thinking we were forgotten and was about to get up and ask.
However, the wait staff came up and looked at us...I had to cue her and ask for menus. Perhaps she should of asked first. I wasn't sure what to think at first. However, after that the waitress made the effort to ensure our orders were taken care of. She did her best to explain the specials, menu and beers. Plus she was great in adding to friendly conversation too. She checked up on us a few times to ensure things were okay.
The pastas we ordered were pretty good for a beer place. I was actually quite surprised at the food menu variety. The beer sampler was a nice touch to the introduction of the varying beers out there.
It ended up to be a good restaurant experience.

Amazing Service Saved Us. After visiting Craft for a Saturday lunch, where we had very lackluster service from servers who just didn't seem to be too interested in great service, we (a group of 5 women) returned for dinner before the football game on July 4/14.
After requesting a change to a menu item, which they willingly did, we had to send the salmon back to be cooked a bit more. No big deal - we were ok with waiting. While waiting, the manager bought us a round of drinks and had the entire salad redone with a new piece of salmon (we had already eaten the salad that came originally). Our server Lindsay D. went out of her way to ensure that we were well taken care of, and even went outside the restaurant to take our group photo so that the lighting was good. She knew we were heading to the football game and did everything to keep us on schedule. So... After having a not-so-great service experience once, Craft staff redeemed themselves and we will be sure to return.
And our favorite bartender is Gus.... His personable and attentive service is amazing. A real gem for the Craft team!!!

Great Date Night. Last night I wanted to try somewhere that Hubby and I have never been before, so I looked to Google to find something that would fit our tastes... especially mine who is so picky!
I read the reviews on Urbanspoon about the Craft Bear Market and was intrigued. Some of the reviews rave about it while others have nothing good to say.
We decided to chance it and here is what I have to say:
1. Those of you complaining about the parking are either really lazy or just down right dumb. It is Rice Howard Way.. of course there are only a handful of stalls right on the road, but that giant parkade at the corner... it has lots of room for you to park, and if the $7 price tag of downtown parking is too much for you then you should either take the LRT or not choose to dine downtown... even under construction there was PLENTY of parking available.
2. The service was fantastic. When we checked in at the hostess table we were told there would be more than an hour wait for the patio but to go on in and make ourselves comfortable and have some appetizers or drinks on the main floor... so we situated ourselves near the bar, with a great view of the people and the going ons... it was great. Our waitress was friendly and fast and never let our drinks be empty. She was smiling and awesome! We ordered some appetizers (the chicken wings and the vegetable platter with hummus and flat bread) they were really good. We also tried the 6 pack sampler of beer, and our waitress recommended the White Somer... omg heaven! Tried the Big kids Lemonade too... it was ok, but if you don't like PIMMS or Mint... skip that one. We had been there for about 2 hours, and I didn't want to eat until we went to the patio so I went back to the hostess station. They were so apologetic that they missed us they told us to come up right now. So off to the patio we went.
3. The patio is an oasis... it only offers 24 of the 101 tap beers, but has a slew of other cocktails and specialty drinks. Again we had a waitress who was smiling and friendly and not pushy and intrusive! It was wonderful.. a perfect evening.
4. I ordered the steak and poutine... it was perfect, full of flavour and delicious and hubby ordered the chicken sandwich and he really enjoyed it... it was huge! We also tried the White wine sangria, and it was heavenly.
The patio isn't overly crowded but there were crowds of people having a really good time, and the staff met the demands of each one with a smile on their face> it was a really cool place to be and perfect weather for it too.
The layout of the restaurant is crazy gorgeous, the stairs to the bathroom could probably be a bit dangerous given how wasted some of the people were getting but the hostess assured me only one person had ever tumbled down them and that was staff member! LOL
The bathrooms were clean and stocked and there were lots of them. Te ambience was great and even the styles of each bartender seemed slightly different from one to the next which means there is a little bit of something for everyone here. It was a great great time!! And it is too bad that more people don't write the positive reviews... because Urbanspoon seriously is lacking the positive notes of this fantastic place... check it out... you won't be disappointed!
Enough with the sales pitch. We went to the Craft Beer Market for lunch today. The restaurant is beautiful, the open windows in front allowed the breeze and fresh air in...Great ambiance. The food was really good...fresh, well prepared, and tasty. The service for the most part was really good too.
My biggest complaint, and the reason I may never go back is that the sales pitch we were subject to the entire time we were there. Three different people interrupted our meal to try to sell tickets for their Brewmasters dinner...I am pretty sure there must be a commission paid when these tickets are sold because our nice classy lunch turned into a used car lot.....very very annoying!!
Get rid of the sales pitch and I will go back...keep interrupting and we will find a better place to eat.

Great service, and atmosphere, friendly management and staff. After a long two days of experiencing my self inflicted food poisoning, i was in desperate need of a warm tasty bowl of soup.
My server was really nice, and recommended the turkey coconut carrot soup over their house knowing that my stomach still in rough shape lol. I didn't know what to expect from the soup because of the name, but it was soooo good, the turkey in it wasn't cubed and processed it was pulled and tender ! My boyfriend also enjoyed the 3 Baha fish tacos, which were only 8 dollars on sundays.
The flatbread pizza was nothing special, I ordered the prosciutto arugula. I think it was the tomato sauce that really through the whole dish off, but the server and manager were nice enough to take it off the bill and even offered a replacement, but we chose not to get one as the gesture was nice enough :)
Also the upstairs patio has got to be the best in the downtown area, i really loved the decor and plants they had behind the bar. I would definitely come back, especially when my tummys back to normal to try the amazing craft beer list!
Awesome Food, even better service!. Been to craft a few times, and I have zero complaints. My servers knew their beers and made recommendations based on the food we ordered. The second time I was there our chicken wings took a little longer than usual, but we didn't notice because the waitress kept our beers cold and always topped up. The manager came over and apologized for the wait, bought our wings and our next round of beer. He recommended we use the Craft app, which is pretty fun and keeps track of all the beers I have tried!
I am addicted tot he Gaucho Chicken Flat bread and the chipotle aioli that is drizzled on top if it! I could possibly drink the aioli, it is so good!
I highly recommend trying Craft at least once and order a side of chipotle aioli!
Great!. Went here for lunch and tried their 20 Napkin Burger. This burger is humongus but sadly the patty was partially dry.
