All I have to say is WOW!!! As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted and told to pick any table. April was our server and she is amazing, very kind and attentive - but doesn’t check up so often that it’s too much! I had the huevos rancheros and it was the best breakfast dish I think I’ve ever had…TRY IT! The atmosphere is great - some large groups, small groups, people studying, and people just in for a quick coffee. They have their own parking lot as well as some city parking behind the restaurant.

The most delicious cinnamon bun I’ve ever tried!!! And believe me I have a sweet tooth and I have tried a lot of them! If you are in Edmonton you need to try this Award Winning buns. Breakfast and coffee was OK, Very good and friendly staff. We did not have to wait for tables on a Saturday at 11:00am.

Just had the best breakfast here. Shared the Rancheros and the mushroom Bennie. Best Rancheros I've had in Canada and the Bennie. Was. Perfect. Omg the Benedict sauce....no words 😍. Thank you Naomi for the top notch service. Leaving happy with 6 cinnamon buns to take home and share!

My first proper breakfast after reaching Edmonton. The Benedict is delicious. I ordered the smoked salmon option with hash as the side. The place was cozy.

The Black Bean Chilli was delicious! My friends, however, ordered the strangest and least authentic Thai Green Curry that I have ever seen in my entire life (unfortunately did not manage to snap a picture, but we were so bewildered at the time that it completely slipped our minds). In the end, they *were* satisfied with the taste of the dish, but I remained dumbfounded. Even now, as I write this review, I can’t help but wonder if it was all just a fever dream…? With that said, Highlevel Diner is a homely little establishment. (Homely in the British definition of the word — simple, unpretentious, and cozy). I was happy with the experience, unusual curry and all!

Both fish and steak were delicious. Table and chairs and utensils are old a bit. It has big windows that make the place pleasant. Servant was friendly.
