Last-night was our first time dining at Vivo, as we heard great things and had to check it out. Vivo is a must-go place for delicious Italian food and crafted cocktails.
Our server was fairly new and she was delightful.
We sat at the chef’s table and everyone was very friendly and accommodating.
If you like Sangria, I highly recommend the Berry Basil Sangria.
The portions are generous as your server will explain so if you are wanting coffee and dessert later on keep that in mind.
One thing I would suggest is to have a smaller version of a dessert for singles dining alone as the menu is designed for family style eating.

Great place for dining on special occasions or just wanting something delicious, different and exciting. Servers are great which adds to the experience. Plenty of food in each portion

Insanely small portions. The $97 steak and bass we were told were portions for two people. The full plate of lobster and ravioli for $72 supposed to be “large enough for multiple people to share” had 10 pieces of ravioli and maybe 4 small prices of lobster which was overcooked and chewy. Both me and my friend’s plates were a bit dirty with food stains. Waitress was very polite however very busy and paid no attention to us. Environment extremely noisy and crowded.

** Excellent experience x3 ** Our third time to Vivo since relocating to Edmonton. Vivo was first recommended to me by a colleague for a special dinner. It exceeded our expectations all three times. Service is very professional across various waiters and staff. Food was outstanding, again, every time. Long time and experienced waiter Alan made our last visit for dinner an exceptional experience, Thanks, we will be back soon!

My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time last night and loved it! The food was too die for, the atmosphere is amazing and the chefs are also very friendly. Our waiter Connor was excellent, he was very knowledgeable about the menu and made the night great and comfortable for us! Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Astounding! My top 1 restaurant in Edmonton so far. Service is amazing, food is decadent. The scallops and beef is awesome but my favorite is the seabass. Cocktail options is interesting. Nothing much to say as everything went great. A must dining experience! Will always come back here.
