Exceptional menu, with its local-inspired entrees. We particularly loved the use of saskatoon berries and bison meat in many dishes! The pork and the chicken cordon blue are a must! And the giant cookie and spice ginger cake - try them! The pasta too; it was especially filling and loaded with meat. Jackson our server was especially accommodating (my wife changed every order and he had fun with that!) and was a fun server for our group of 16!

My friend and I were in Edmonton for the night for an amazing project. The two of us were staying at a nearby Hotel. We could see the restaurant from our room window, so we went to go brainstorm and get some food. Brett was our waiter. I highly recommend Homefire Grill! The environment and service was greatly appreciated. It's cozy, comfortable, amd the food was delicious! Thank you so much Brett for being so great! We made a new friend today 🙂

WOW….sometimes you get lucky with all the Google choices available. Homefire did not disappoint, epic service and amazing food. I will definitely be back. I had the porkchop( even though pork is my last choice for protein) and it was the best. Bone-in served with a unique pear goat cheese topping vs apple sauce and it really works.

We had Bannock and Bison Burgers with beer. It is very delicious, the portions are very fulfilling and yummy. The ambiance is very nice in the middle of the restaurant there is a fireplace.

Decided to try homefire grill for the first time last week with my bf as I have heard good things about the restaurant. Had a less than stellar experience. The restaurant was not that busy so we got seated right away, ordered drinks and then my bf decided on the meatloaf (came with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables), I chose the rib and chicken combo (with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables). When it arrived at our table about 10 minutes after we ordered, the meat loaf was ice cold and didn't look fresh at all. We waited for our server to come back to the table so we could address the cold meatloaf, and waited and waited. Finally after quite some time waiting we had to ask another server (who wasn't ever our own) to get the meatloaf heated up. Obviously they threw it in the microwave, because a minute later they come back with the meatloaf. Then our original server comes up and says sorry about the mishap with the meatloaf, doesn't offer us any compensation at all. Disappointed this isn't some $10 fast-food meal, the entire meal cost us over 75 dollars for the two of us. If I'm paying that much for a meal I expect it to be hot enough to eat. Won't be back.

Top restaurant of it's kind in all of Edmonton! The food here that specializes in First Nations cuisine top's the River Cree Resort and Casino's First Nation's cuisine menu by miles upon miles. For those who dont know what the River Cree Resort and Casino is, it's the number #1 voted Casino in all of western Canada 8+ years running and is located on the First Nation's reserve just along side the west side of Edmonton.
P.s I strongly urge y'all to try the "Bison Burger" at the "Homefire Grill" located in the same parking lot of the "Wingate inn by Wyndham" in West Edmonton.

We have been coming to the Homefire Grill for quite a few years! We just celebrated my husband's first Father's Day there and the buffet brunch was AMAZING! I surprised him with reservations and he was thrilled when he knew we were going to the Homefire Grill.
Our server was amazing and attentive, the food was hot, fresh and tasty! Our 9.5 month old little girl ate a ton of food and enjoyed every bite.
We would LOVE to see a buffet brunch more often! Thanks for a wonderful experience today ��

Was a good hearty meal and everything was made in house. I don't mind paying a little extra for fresh ingredients. Bannock bread with maple butter was amazing and my bison meatloaf was really nice too. Our server Matt deserves some credit, he was very good and personable. We were given a free dessert for my 31st birthday which was also amazing. I don't know if Morgan had something to do with that but thanks! Overall had a great time and everything was paced perfectly. Would repeat.

Fantastic service on Mothers Day - booked online but didn't realize it was brunch and we arrived just before brunch was wrapping up ... no problem for HFG, the chef graciously offered anything on the lunch menu. Needless to say, a good time was had by all and the bison meatloaf and bison burgers were uber-yummie.

The food was excellent. We shared Mediterranean flat bread, bannock and Buffalo spring rolls - good portions. I had the haddock with coconut jasmine rice - delicious. Can't wait to go back!
