La Ronde lives up to its reputation! A MUST for anyone visiting Edmonton, from the area, or looking to WOW a date.
I came here during a downtown food event to checkout signature dishes from the downtown core, La Ronde was on the list so I had to take the opportunity.
WOW! This was an experience I suggest everyone to checkout. Firstly, the customer service was great. The waiter was very kind, sociable, and committed to his role.
Views were amazing! Prior, my friend was concerned if the revolutions of the restaurant would give him motion sickness as he is prone to it easily, but no. It was perfect.
The star of the show of course if the food and wow does it hit! Delicious, fresh, bursting with flavor. Exactly what you would expect from a place of this reputation.
Highly recommend it, I suggest dressing business casual at the minimum. This is a MUST.

You come to La Ronde for the amazing 360 rotating view high above the Edmonton skyline. It's always been a favorite brunch spot for me with a diverse buffet selection but through COVID there's been no brunch and I have never even thought to come here otherwise. Alas, I thought to give them a try on Valentine's and I was extremely surprised by their dinner service. I'm not usually a big hotel diner but this old establishment high atop the Chateau Lacombe surprised me. The food was forward thinking, beautifully presented and delicious. Unfortunately with the rennaissance of downtown Edmonton with so many giant skyscrapers, we're losing our views of the west end and towards St. Albert. But now you can come here for the delicious food. Was thoroughly impressed.

Very bougie place, come dressed to the 9's or come dressed casual, they are very welcoming and courteous either way. They made every effort to make us feel respected as patrons. The view is breathtaking. Such a prestigious place hidden in an older hotel but no less modern then any restaurant I've visited in North America. Food and table service are delectable and catering. Plate presentation was beautifully prepared and served. Drink and wine menu has a good variety. Such wonderful flavours. Didnt have enough room for dessert, but next time we will try. Highly recommend this restuarant as a definite Edmonton Bucket List Item. Cross that one off our lists.

Food was delicious, service from Jason was awesome, drinks were great. Just had to minus 1 star. I would consider this place to be more on the “fine-dining” level, although the interior was very dated, carpets need to be changed, tables and chairs could be changed, the whole interior just needs a refresh. Also coloured plastic straws in the drinks was kinda weird haha, felt childish. Washrooms we’re up to date and really nice looking. Tiramisu was incredible.

The Laronde is a MUST try for a great fine dining experience and beautiful views of the city.
My family has been going here for years to celebrate special occasions. Now I'm enjoying it with my own family here on special occasions.
Big shout out to Dean he always goes above and beyond to make sure our experience is amazing. Such a great, friendly Maitre'D working his best to make sure everything is taken care of.Also thanks to Mr.Fernandes for your kindness over the years.

Dessert: Mango Cheesecake and Molten Chocolate Cake, and Salted Carmel Ice Cream.
You can also go up and just enjoy some dessert and drinks instead of going for a full meal. I promise it's worth it!

Amazing views and great staff and service! Menu was quite limited and somewhat disappointing. It's available online but I still felt disappointed when I saw it in real life. If I was a vegan or vegetarian it would have been disastrous. I guess if I do go back it would probably not be for the food.

Overrall Great experience, I would rate them 9/10 cos of the excelent customer service from the server, he was so friendly and kept engaging us in conversations each time he attended to our table. The food I would 8/10, our orders were different, main Course Meal, I had steak and cranberry.

My meal. Wow. The view. Wow. Went here for dinner after my convocation ceremony and received the best service ever by Dean. Extremely friendly and amazing at his job. He ensured that our time there was enjoyable and special. Definitely coming back soon!

I am really sorry to give a bad review but the food was awful. We started off with Sweet Potato Crab Cakes. They were burned so crispy on one side that I had to use a steak knife to cut them. The chef knew the were burnt because he strategically place the burnt side down and covered them in sauce. We told the waiter that they were burned and he did offer to bring us new ones but by then I was too upset that they would serve those crispy burnt crab cakes to a customer in the first place. Our main course was a stuffed pork with served with vegetables and bread pudding, the bread pudding taste like I was eating bread in a desert (old and dry). My husband said his was tolerable so I gave him mine. I have been going there for over 5 years at the exact time evey year with a couple of visits in between. When we came last time I said I would never go back. I forgot I had said this. I quickly remembered when the appetizers came out. Again, it pains me to deliver a poor review. However when you don't care enough about your customers and serve burnt crispy food and try to cover them up in sauce this review must be written. This restaurant has dropped in stars and I am extremely disappointed.

My family of four came in for the Father's Day brunch today and were blown away by the food and the service. We've been long time patrons for decades now and certainly were not disappointed. The buffet had a huge selection, including prime rib and fresh seafood. Our server, Christopher, was impeccable and truly made his work look like an art. The manager, Mr. Lee, treated us like gold and was extremely accommodating. My father had an absolutely wonderful afternoon there, one he won't soon forget. A big thank you to all the staff, including the chefs, servers and management. We will be back for decades to come!

We celebrated our anniversary with hubby. The place is beautiful! The view is amazing! The staff is so friendly and so attentive. Asked may times if we need anything else .. how the did tastes.. I can say the spinach salad is great, the striploin was very delicious and the deserts are the best! Baked Alaska is a must to try �we will definitely visit again.

I just went here for a bday dinner for my mom. Not only did they kbow it was her bday but they sang to 2 other guests and ignored my request for my mom. Not only that but the seafood dish that cost my mom 50 was returned due to rubbery fish and rotten tasting clams. It was returned without an offer for a new one. Also our drinks sat empty for quite some time being 4 of us i get dinner could take a bit... But just over an hour is a long wait for food. All in all the rotation aspect is super cool but as for the food i dont think i would reccomend this place to friends.

Have been going to the LaRonde for years. Have never had a bad meal or bad service.
Love the fish, bison and when they have it the caribou is amazing. Highly recommend the LaRonde. But make sure you give yourself a few hours to fully enjoy the food and atmosphere

My boyfriend and I just came here tonight for our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely wonderful! The view was just beautiful,very romantic dining experience. The menu was short and simple but it was still so hard to choose what to order because everything sounded so good, and the food itself was DELICIOUS. Very nice place. Will definitely be back, and will recommend to friends!

Tf? I am 15 I can't a genuine review I still eat at McDonalds and say its 5 stars brah this shit was good gotta admit but that steak was legit bitting into balls of pepper at least 30 on mine and my moms had just as much ya see McDonalds dosen't have that and the drinks cost less soo that should give you a hint :) but all in all it was good.

The food and service was very good. The vegetables on our main course was so delicious. I had the pork tenderloin and my fiancé had the chicken which we both enjoyed. Wine was half price which a fun surprise ,and I found the bill to be very reasonable.

This restaurant is far one of the best restaurant i've been to in 8 year in alberta!! Dean our server was super awsome! If you have him as a server u will have no regret!! Also the food was 11 out of 10 !! Perfectly cook recommended the rack of lamb wow !!

We went for my husband Birthday on Christmas Day... We had a fabulous dinner. Our sever was amazing and talent and very knowledgeable about the food and alcohol. He and I would recommend this restaurant to our family and friends. We are planning to go again soon. And to boot the view was wonderful. I give the restaurant a five start.
