Wanted to grab a bite while waiting for our vehicle at a shop across the street. While a little pricey for dinner, the lunch menu was very reasonable. Choice of pasta with different sauce choices and protein choices most for $15 with very large portions. Didn't come with garlic toast so we ordered a side of garlic toast for $4 and they were huge and tasted great as well. I had the linguine with sambuca rose and clams. My guy had the Fettuccine with pesto Alfredo Sauce. Topped it off with a spiced rum and coke and a Stella. Very good service from a sweet gal. We will definitely come back! Attended an event called The Art of Conversation at this sweet little gem of a restaurant tonight. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was warn and inviting. The Staff were at the top of their game and very friendly. Highly recommended this cozy relaxed jewel

At the beginning one of the taller male servers wasn't sure he'd be able to fit us in because we didn't have a reservation and it was busy. Chris (the owner, I think) came up and moved some things around to make room for us. He clearly cared about us and it showed! Our server was Tammy. She was very attentive and thoughtful throughout our dinner, keeping the pace steady and even striking up some nice conversation while we waited for dinner. We had the Sunday special which was a half rack of ribs, fettuccine Alfredo, and vegetables. It was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were cooked perfectly which is important for me because I'm kind of a keener about veg. It's no surprise this place has such great ratings and that's why we decided to check it out. Thanks for the amazing experience. If you haven't been here, definitely come. You won't regret it! Prices also ranged from very reasonable for the quality to more expensive for what I assume is even better!

Absolutely fantastic food. Prices are a bit high but you for sure get your value out of the price. Best pasta I've ever had. I'd recommend anyone who likes Italian or pasta make this their next stop.

My family and I had gone to this restaurant in early April, we had a wonderful experience!
The service, food and atmosphere were all top notch.
My family had ordered some of their most popular dishes, it didn't disappoint.
From the King Pescatore, Gnocchi Bianchi, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Tartufo E Pmodori and appetizers, it was money well spent.
I'd recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends! 🤜🏽🤛🏽👌🏽🎊

This is a great Italian restaurant. We have been here a couple times, and both times enjoyed the food. This time we ate outside beside the tent which had live entertainment for the evening. It was a great experience. The owner ( who we just met) said they do this every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. With the live entertainment the atmosphere was excellent for a nice casual dinner with friends or a date night with your loved one.

My children’s Nona used to make the most delicious seafood pasta and I was on the hunt for something similar today. I was not disappointed. The seafood pasta at Cafe Amore Bistro reminded me of family time around the table with all my wonderful Italian in-laws. I had the seafood in the marinara sauce and I didn’t regret it. (You can also chose a rose or white wine sauce which is bound to be amazing).
Very good service. Good prices for the amount of food we received. I took home half my dish. Next time I might order some starters and then share the seafood dish family style. It is a lot of food and perfect for someone with a big appetite.
Atmosphere is cozy and not pretentious. It has an upscale family friendly feel — a place to gather with your whole family to celebrate or to give the main family cook a break. 🥳
It also has some cozy spaces for lovers to sit and enjoy an evening together. I’d come back with my partner for certain.
Service was well timed and the server attentive without being intrusive (my favourite kind of service) 😉
I’m giving this place 5 stars because I got exactly what I wanted.
I’ll definitely be back.

I was in town for work and was recommended Cafe Amore for a great meal. I have to say they did not disappoint! The mark of a good restaurant is a busy parking lot and dining room. They are a beautiful intimate restaurant with the warmest and most inviting staff. Do ask for Valerie, she was kind and informative of the menu! They took extra care in a GF allergy, which is much appreciated. From start to finish I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, and if you happen to come by I would strongly recommend the Tartufo E Pomodori (shown below in GF)

If you like Italian food, here is one option for you. Food is good, or at least the items that I tasted. But be careful... they are after your money!!
No appetizer. As "starter" they offer a plate of salad which could be good for 3-4 people (16$). No half portion
Then you may decide to go with "the prawns" (22$). And when the waiter ask you if you want languini or pene, DO NOT assume that this is part of your dish - like you select between rice, vegs, pasta or baked potatoes - as it is customary for your entree.
So you assume that the waiter is asking for what "normally" goes with your 8 prawns (again 22$). So you answer either linguini or pene, right!??
The waiter DOES NOT ask you if you want full plate, or half plate.
And so you end up being charged 10$ for a full plate of pasta....
Now your 8 prawns (22$) cost you 32$ because of your "full pasta plate" which you never really order. Or expected to cost you 10$...
You end up paying 32$ for 8 prawns and a full plate of pasta when absolutely every where else you can have a super nice piece of prime cut for the same price...
Total rip us. I do not recommend this restaurant for this kind of attitude.

Food is good and portions are BIG! Often a house red wine is pretty awful but not the case here; it was actually not bad at all! Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was cozy, dark but lit with candles and ambient lighting and decorated in "traditional" Italian cafe style with lounge, cool jazz and big band music playing at just the right volume. I'd recommend the half portion of pasta as a full portion is enough to feed two people. Daily specials and great menu selection. 1/2 litre of house wine, 1 full spinach salad, 1/2 order and full order of pasta and two cappuccinos came out to $69; about average for two people. Casual - upscale casual dress acceptable. If you want Olive Garden prices and Olive Garden quality food, this is not the place for you. If you want a quiet, romantic dinner and support an independent local business, I highly recommend!

Oh my goodness!! Incredible service and amazing food! So many delicious choices we ended up each getting a share platter and had oodles to take home. We had the most amazing waitress and bar tending staff tend to us! So fun and friendly!! Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for making girls night out so much better with this experience! �

Our party of 4 enjoyed a great dinner here last night. Our server Vincent clearly has a passion for what he does, he treated us like we were family in his own home. Not only is he very personable, and hilarious, he made some great menu suggestions. We ordered the cheese plate, bruchetta, and maple sausage crostini (Vincent) to share, & they were all great starters. We all enjoyed our main courses, & portions are large enough that the two ladies brought more than half home.
The only negative I would have to say about the experience at Cafe Amore last night was that I was the driver....I'm not a big drinker, but I had the best Caesar I've ever had. My next visit to Cafe Amore I will not be the driver, and will enjoy more than 1 Caesar!

Been to Cafe Amore several times. Very welcoming staff! Service is always great! Only place I don't mind waiting an hour for. The food is never disappointing and the drink selection is amazing! U can never go wrong here. Keep up with the great work!

Last night was my first visit to Cafe Amore. I had arranged a birthday celebration for our ladies group and unanimously we chose to celebrate at Cafe Amore. The Bistro is lovely, the service was very good and overall the other ladies (7) enjoyed their meals. I unfortunately did not want pasta and wasn’t overly hungry so I ordered Calamari! It was a huge disappointment!
My Calamari had no flavor and the experience was like chewing a wide rubber band. It was terrible. There are rumors that restaurants are substituting the real Calamari with pork rectum; as when boiled has the same texture and appearance as Calamari! No proof of this rumor but my dinner could have passed for that. Real Calamari is tender and has the little tails etc, this did not. I did not want to draw attention to it and spoil the reason we were all there.
I certainly do not recommend this item from their menu.

The look and ambiance of this cozy little restaurant reminds me of the welcoming hospitality of Italy! We were greeted warmly at the door upon arrival with the owner actually shaking our hand. How nice is that! The friendly service, extensive menu selection and incredibly flavorful food were all such a treat. Wonderfully large portions were perfect for a hungry appetite, for sharing or for leftovers at home. The adorable and talented accordion player played Happy Birthday for our table to top off our evening with wonderful friends. We will definitely be back soon!

I have been to Cafe Amore a few times now. Every visit is consistent, good and friendly service, delicious food and good portion size for the price you pay. I wish I could order one of everything to try it all out but I guess I will have to settle with coming back for more.

Celebrated my boyfriends birthday last night here. Kept hearing great things about it from co-workers. And it was amazing. Our server was fantastic. Great ambience. Loved the cozy feel of the restaurant. The food was the best I've had in the city. The maple sausage crostini's... how did I live so long without those in my life. We cannot wait to come back. Everyone must try!!!!!
