First of all, restaurants that are open in the area were very little (almost none other than this). So, nine of us visited Downhome Delights for lunch in a weekend. The venue: It’s a clean, little spot but can accommodate about 30 people at once. The staff: The staff is quick and very attentive. Foo
Air conditioning. Clean. Good service. Apple Feta Salad was delicious and fresh. Steak was thin yet nicely grilled. Veggies were fresh and lightly cooked. Fries with the works were huge. Turkey Dinner, likewise. Partridge Berry Cake with Rum Sauce was tasty, too.

Absolutely great experience! This was a stop at the end of a trip and the food was great. The service was even better!!
Our fish and burger were cooked perfectly. The fries, although home made and tasty, could have been cooked a little longer. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and the food didn't take long to be prepared and served.
One of only two restaurants open in the tiny (and lovely) village of Salvage. Had really nicely done pan fried codfish, and they also make a good salad.
