Review Petit Passage Cafe - East Ferry

We went whale watching, it was awesome 👌 the crew were very nice greated everyone getting one the boat,we went out about one hour out till we started seeing whales,very active. People on the boat were nice to each other, there were two babies and kids, it was a very nice time, we even met people from Toronto, Hamilton. We will go again. Thanks all.

Whale watching was great. Service at cafe was awful. After our tour, (at 4:55pm), many of us wanted to grab some food and use the washroom, (because the washroom on boat was broken), and the worker at the cafe literally slammed the door in our faces saying “we’re closed”. A mother asked if her child could use the bathroom and worker said no. Maybe some customer service training for the cafe staff???!

I stopped in for a break, had a coffee and banana muffin. The folks are very friendly and I enjoyed my snack. I was told they make home-made desserts (pies, etc.) during the peak traffic season, which begins around the start of July.

Well situated. Scallop roll was delicious! Chowder was full of lobster meat. We were in a hurry to line up for the ferry so we didn’t have time to buy ice cream. Maybe next time.

Stopped here for breakfast before getting on the ferry. Delicious food and reasonable prices. Very friendly lady who served us.

We did not eat here. We went on one of their whale watching tours. Quite amazing. We saw one whale fairly quickly. But we kept going to different spots to see more. Our captain was in contact with other boats from different tours that were locating whales and telling all the boats where they were. We ended up seeing 5 whales, some dolphins, seals, and many birds. Everyone was so friendly and happy to answer our many questions.

I love this little place! Great breakfast with a lot of food and very reasonably priced. Everytime I'm in Digby I make sure I stop by at least once

It was a great day! Saw lots of whales close & far! Many birds, dolphins & seals!! Foods was good too! 😀
