Incredible food. Had it catered for a family event and everyone was talking about every item from appetizers to desserts. Can't wait to go in and get some more delicious food!
Can I rate higher then 5? This little gem popped up on my Instagram recently and I happened to be in the neighbourhood Friday past. I don't know if it was because I was starving but I literally wanted to buy everything! (And I did come close). We ate from the hot food option, wraps and tacos, purchased frozen meat pies (delish) and went way over board on the sweets!! I loved it all! I'm not sure how great Annina's is for my diet but I'll be sure to spend another cheat day there!
Great ruben sandwich (moist and a little fatty). Cozy upstairs sitting area. All very informal. Would like to take a few friends there for Xmas lunch get together but... no beer and wine bar. Seems to be a spot upstairs ready to go, so maybe they are looking at it. Until then, a nice Saturday brunch spot!
Lovely little place. This is a cute little building on Hwy 47. I stopped for a cup of coffee while driving to Uxbridge. It was very cosy sitting upstairs and they had so many freshly baked pastries for you to choose from. I took home the chicken pot pie but found it a bit dry, but I would definitely go back for the pastries.
Mmm, Gourmet Pot Pies. My sister lives in Stouffville, and I visit her and my precious niece once a week. Since finding out about Annina's I have been happily driving over to fill my grocery bag with one of their Gourmet Pot Pies after each visit. My favourite is the roasted peppers, chicken and goat cheese. My husband tends to favour the Morrocoan chicken pie. Unfortunately for my waist line I've been finding it hard to pass up the butter pecan tarts as well. Too delicious!!!
Hidden Gem!. Stop by for lunch on their second floor loft, (3 rooms to choose from) with coffee, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, accompanied by very hearty portions and topping it all off with a confection or two.
Browse their gigantic selection of freshly baked breads, specialty jams, bbq sauces, marinades, and take home a wide variety of delicious easy bake pies (the contents are gourmet quality!) and, of course, their pastries!
The BEST butter tarts (and they're huge!) I've ever had!
They also specialize in catering services for any occasion.
I have driven past this place for years while working and never went in but always wanted to so finally did.
It's awesome.
I am basing this on the service and the two items I bought but I have no doubt that anything you buy at Annina's will be excellent quality.
The butter tarts are great. The pastry is perfect. Flaky and tender and buttery. The way they are meant to be. I felt the filling was almost a pudding like consistency. I do prefer a thicker filling but really, no complaints. The flavour was very good.
The cookie I tried was the empire cookie. Very good! Perfect shortbread with that sweet icing and raspberry filling.
I can't wait to go back and try the other items.
We visited this cafe on the weekend after we finished going to the Durham forest. This cafe has nice pastries. There is a parking lot in front of the cafe. We lined up to get in. Once we made the purchase we could bring our food out and sat in the outside area. The cafe provides benches and table. The cafe seems very popular for cyclists too. I recommend you to visit this cafe if you are in the neighborhood
Always great! Haven't had a bad treat yet! I've not tried the meals, but have had a couple of take out chicken pies, and I love their beef patties.
If you like strawberry/rhubarb pie, this is the place you have to come.
I stumbled across this place which is a big hit with the road cyclists who ride in the area. They have an ample supply of pastry choices that all look so good it's hard to make a choice. We came for lunch so ordered pizza, it was an excellent choice. Freshly made with quality ingredients we all are slower so as to enjoy it longer. With lots of great menu choices this is definitely a place requiring several visits, but if you're only just passing through you must stop here for something to eat, or just a coffee.
Also there is plenty of well spaced apart tables outside so you can sit and enjoy your food at a table on a sunny day. They sell local honey as well, always a good find in my books.
Stopped for lunch while visiting Goodwood to see some Schitt's Creek show locations. Had a roasted veggies wrap and fries. It was THE best wrap, the veggies were obviously cooked in cast iron over a flame or something... Most amazing flavour 🤤. We did not get any baked goods but the display case was very impressive! They also have se neat kitchen and food gifts and gadgets in the back and a really nice dining area upstairs.
Cute little shop serving up coffee, baked goods, and some lunch fare with a small grocery section in the back. They have an outdoor seating area with park benches and umbrellas which are distanced and well shaded. Makes for a nice stop after a bike ride or hike in the area. Note that the only iced coffee drink they have is an iced Americano. They have good quality coffee and the oatmeal raisin cookies I got were nice and chewy.
Recommended by my friend for it's bakery and cakes. They have a dine in upstairs while downstairs have ample choices of pastry and grocery of ingredients. They are also popular for bikers to stop by for quick bites and coffee, especially the outdoor seating area in the summertime. Today we have a hike in Uxbridge and visit the place to reward our hard work. It never disappoint with our order of Blueberry Streusel Cheescake, Mocha Nut Fudge Cake and Strawberry Rhubarb Mini Pie which are all delicious!
