I am blown away with how good this all VEGAN cafe is!! We got the cinnamon bun, pizza bun and egg salad sandwich, one bite and we went for more! Lol! Bought the breakfast sandwich (in all the excitement we forgot to snap a pic! Lol) and was not disappointed one bit!!! Plus it's run by amazing people, well done fam!!!

Amazing vegan café with tons of healthy and delicious options. The staff were so helpful with giving us some recommendations. I got the vegan BLT and it was to die for. I also recommend trying their Italian cream soda!

Such a great tucked away place for Vegan food. Loved the recipe books on the shelves and the ladies cooking were so sweet to visit with! Loved all the dishes we ordered!

Cafe la vie is a family-run vegan bakery and cafe. They do made-to-order cakes and have a fantastic take-out menu. Seriously amazing baked goods with animal-loving vibes!

Love it. Owners are so polite and accommodating. I go every time I’m passing through Duncan. The Vegan Tofu Scramble, Vegan French Toast, Vegan Quesadillas, and Vegan ribs were amazing.

Vegan owned and operated, this cafe is on a perfectly picturesque downtown/historic area location and is fighting the good fight by providing healthy and delicious foods from a modest kitchen. They have board game nights and are a queer/intersectional friendly space. Ground level, so may have some slight advantages with respect to accessibilty.

What a gem of find. Vegan cafe and take home and bake delights. I drove from Victoria and wasn't disappointed. The lovely ladies are truly trying to make a difference in the community and offering a wonderful alternative. The vegan sausage rolls were amazing and I also had the take and bake pizza. Scrumptious. Please go and support this much needed diversity in Duncan.

I've only been a few times but I've liked everything I've had from there. Last time I had a bowl of butternut squash soup and a cranberry muffin that was excellent. I need to go more often. Edit: Sorry but I have to laugh at the chick who complained about a vegan cafe not serving "regular milk". I guess she missed the "vegan" part on the sign. Update: Reducing from 5 stars to 3. Unfortunately they've seem to have gone downhill since Covid, which is unfortunate. Last time I went there, in July, they had a very limited menu, no baked goods, and their produce looked about ready to be turfed so I went elsewhere. Hopefully they've gotten things back on track or will soon.
