Review Restaurant Focaccio - Dorval

As it’s the closest place to the hotel (Double Tree) and the airport, it’s not too bad. Came 2 times already in 3 day period and overall it was good. Nice ambience with good selection on the dishes. Draft beer available. Steaks are not their signature dish for sure. For a $30 steak, it was a bad cut and too much spices. Waiter forgot to bring out the bread even when I asked for it. Finished soup and steak and still no bread. I was even provided water even after ordering a glass of beer and a glass of wine. Was told their veal is the signature dish so will for sure check it out again. Reason gave a 4-star still cause of the friendliness in the staff, ambience, and the Italian dishes look good; just don’t order steaks.

What a gem - Very close to the Airport, very close to the hotel I was staying at - Seems if you are close / around the hotel airports they have a shuttle to pick up / drop off It was a late dinner for me (9pm) .. the food, the service It was all amazing (so good, I’m heading back to go again for lunch today) A definite must go to place (you won’t regret it).

Stopped here for lunch on our way to the airport. Found them on Google. We had lasagna and the food was really good. I enjoyed the flavor of the tomato sauce alot. Would go here again when on montreal

Wow what a score of a find. There were 8 of us, they came and picked us up in their shuttle. Menu was quite extensive, the wine suggestions were spot on and reasonably priced for the quality and every single person loved their food. I normally don't order a caesar salad at a restaurant because I make a great one but wanted to give theirs a try. If you don't like garlic then theirs is pretty good but its not for me. That would be the only star reduction but if I didn't order it I would not have known.

I was surprised that there was high ratings when honestly everything was super blend. Bread was stale, everything was so simple and I couldve made better at home. Disapointed.

***Extremely Recommended ***Restaurant!! I'm part of a crew that travels to Nunavut for work. We stay nearby during the trip north and back. This place is top notch for service, they're friendly and helpful. Most may not know but they'll even shuttle you to & from your hotel :)

One word…EXCELLENT! Best lasagna this side of Italy. Excellent service. It’s a small place with great ambiance. Will definitely come here again, as we usually stay at the same hotel nearby every time we come to Montreal. Highly recommend this place!

Pasta was delicious, salad as a main dish was okay. It was the greens from the box so I wish they added a bit more chopped up vegetables but otherwise okay. Service was good and everything was clean with parking as well!

Amazing food and people! We had reserved for 40 people and 72 show up. The owner Sergio and his staff were so nice and friendly! We were well served, great timing, the food was hot and delicious! The lasagna tastes like home made by an Italian Grandmother!!! Melts in your mouth! We are going there again as soon as we can!

I stopped in when traveling for business and had an awful experience. It was just me so they asked if I would mind sitting in the bar, I normally have no problem with this so I said ok. The bar was less than desirable compared to the white linen tablecloths in the dining room. As soon as I was seated I had an incredibly drunk patron sit beside me who throughout my dinner was shouting out loud at anything and everything, sticking his hands in his beer, and making me very uncomfortable. If my waiter had been around for more than just taking my order and bringing my food, he may have noticed. Awful service. Very inattentive the entire time I was there. The food was delicious, but I just couldn't enjoy it with the atmosphere I was experiencing. One positive thing is that their shuttle driver picked me up from my hotel and he was FABULOUS!!

Excellent food, excellent service. The wait staff was AMAZING. The tomatoes in the two dishes I tried tasted like they just came off the vine. We can't wait to come back!!!

The outside of the building is deceiving. The service was wonderful. The food was good but not great. Just a few suggestions, remove the seeds from your lemons and kalamata olives. As my sister said if you can't eat it remove it. Overall we were pleased and will return.

Went there Saturday night and had a wonderful time. We were a group that reserved for 40 people and ended up being 72 and they handled it extremely well. Food came timely... it was hot...... it was more than delicious.... and the staff we're really courteous and accommodating. Looking forward to going there again real soon

Excellent professional service and authentic Italian food. The food brought us back to our favorite restaurant in Rome. White linen tablecloths and napkins made dining extra special.
