Review Elixor Ddo - Dollard-des-Ormeaux

Finally being able to celebrate birthdays at our favorite Resto was wonderful. The food is and has always been fresh and flavorful. The staff is always helpful, fast and kind. Truly a gem of a place to visit. The fact they accommodate gluten allergies is also great. Keep it up guys!! 5 stars, if I could give more I would!!

Clean Atmosphere. Super Friendly Staff. Server was super attentive. Pasta was Delicious. Big Portions. Amazing Restaurant.

Food is awesome, but their Chef’s adventure menu list & even most of the menu has been the same for over a decade. I’m not saying remove anything but please do add things. I love this place but I’m always ordering the same things for over 10 years. 4 stars, should be 5 stars for taste & portion, just minus one star for not adding more choices to their menu since Jesus died.

Elixor, a fine dining restaurant, where many memories can be made. A dinery, for family and friends to enjoy a special night, filled with delicious meals and desserts. As much as I would like to talk about the delicious food, I must first talk about the service. As my friends and I, walked into the establishment, we were immediately questioned based on how we looked, whether we had any money on us or if we could even pay for the meal. These questions made my friends and I feel like we were being discriminated against because of the way we looked. You would think in the middle of a pandemic, restaurants struggling to earn profit, would treat their customers with respect, not by putting their customers into that position of distress. After that inconvenience was resolved, we were seated at our table. Once, ordering the Rio Grande Mexican Burrito, a fresh tortilla straight off the grill, combined with rich cheddar cheese, fried rice, roasted chicken strips, delicious bell peppers topped with caramelized onions, guacamole, sour cream and salsa, I knew it was going to be special. As soon as our food arrived, I could smell the aromas of all elegant dishes. I have to admit, I was impressed by the presentation, it looked spectacular, I couldn't wait to stick my fork inside that fresh burrito, take a savory bite and taste all those juicy, flavourful ingredients on my taste buds. I cut a piece of the burrito, put it into my mouth and the burrito was bursting with flavour. With every bite I took, I could taste more and more of the delicious, well seasoned ingredients. I find that the toppings of sour cream, guacamole and salsa, provides an amazing touch to the dish. Following the meals, be of the opinion that, although the service was questionable to start off, it was resolved and the dishes were great. I can't wait to see what else this elegant restaurant has to offer, until next time. J.G

Had a nice family supper. The service has not skipped a beat: good before and after Covid 19 shutdown. Pretty extensive menu. Perfect for large groups. I see flashes, reminding me of the well known US chain:The Cheesecake Factory. I’m not a huge fan of cheesecakes but I’m a huge fan of the Shrimp Spaghettini with Scampi sauce. This is an exquisite dish, big shrimps, lots of garlic, and a rich sauce. I balanced it by splitting this dish, family style, with a Bora Bora Tuna salad. Another delicious dish. Finished it off with a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Be warned: generous portions. All good.

Everytime I come here, the food is always great! Of course had to finish off our meal with an oreo cheesecake

I enjoyed most of the items we ordered. Good quality, however the sheperds pie was horrible. I think they butchered a classic. Everything else (peri peri chicken, sliders, wings, and sides were good)

Went there for Mother’s Day this morning and was disappointed. Got our food 57 minutes after we ordered. Some of my family members complained that their eggs where runny,including myself. Plus,what kind of restaurant runs out of bread and doesn’t tell our poor waiter. I felt very bad for our waiter. He handled his job like a professional and I can tell he was embarrassed at this poor display today.

This review is for our visit in Summer 2017 - Just wanted to say what an amazing spot this is. Great for families, big groups. The menu is huge. We are from Toronto and really enjoyed Elixor and would love it if there was a Toronto location. But if we return to Montreal, we will definitely be back. Not only huge portions, but reasonably priced and delicious tasting! Great kids menu too!

Food and service is always amazing, and never disappoints. A regular spot for myself and my coworkers to go for lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The bar side is so nice. I was just there and I ordered the Piri piri chicken, it was amazing! The menu has many choices to satisfy everyone! The staff are great!!

Food was amazing ! But place is way too noisy . The music is too loud. We left to have coffee and dessert elsewhere .

Dined here for the first time this evening. We honestly did not take into account what time it was when we arrived and definitely overstayed our welcome. Our server was professional and never once made any reference to the fact that the restaurant was technically closed as we sipped our tea/coffee. The food was delicious. Very satisfied customer. Thank you.

Belle soirée avec des amis, service exceptionnel, plats délicieux et ambiance conviviale. Les rénovations sont tout un succès, le bar est magnifique. Définitivement un restaurant à découvrir, vous ne serez pas déçus.

Just had a very pleasant experience at Elixor ! It's been fully renovated, looks beautiful inside and there is a good variety of food which is delicious. Great for group events.

Food was great and so were the drinks. Service was also very good.
