C'est un petit restaurant familiale ou l'ambiance est confortable, la nourriture est tellement délicieuse qu'elle fond dans la bouche.
L'assaisonnement est délicate mettant en valeur les mets. Le riz basmati est sublime. Rarement ai-je goûté un avec tel texture aussi savoureuse. La viande marinée est épicée par l'ajout de fines herbes. Le goût est exquise qui plaira à tous- hormis ceux qui cherchent se bruler le palais par l'ajout de piments et non le rehaussement des saveurs d'origine.
Je recommande fortement d'essayer. A vous de décider si vous voulez y retourner mais je le ferai.
It is a small family restaurant where the atmosphere is comfortable with food so delicious it (pratically) melts in your mouth.
The seasoning is delicate highlighting the servings. Basmati rice is sublime. Rarely have I tasted one with such as tasty texture. The marinated meat is spiced by the light addition of herbs. The taste is exquisite that appeals to everyone - apart from those who seek to burn their by adding peppers and wishing to taste an enhancment of the original taste. To each their own.
I recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely love this place. Wonderful service. The soup is incredible. So many delightful flavors. Can't pick a favourite dish because they're all so awesome.

Amazing fresh food, the meat is melt in your mouth. So different and delicious, the best part is, its right in my backyard!! A cross between Indian and Middle Eastern with their own special twist. Cant wait to go back!
The service and food is always exceptional. Everything is homemade by the owners. Everytime I go, my reaction is the same as the first time. Put it on your bucket list right away!!!!!

Propriétaires/cuisiniers super sympathique. Nourriture authentique et excellente. Belles portions. Que dire de plus! On n'y va pas pour le décor, mais pour le service et SURTOUT la nourriture!

I’ve had this restaurant on my wish list for months and was so happy to finally go tonight. Everything was delicious, the portions were perfect. We left feeling satisfied and eager to come back to try more! Highlights were definitely the kadu bolani and the mix #2 (chicken, lamb and kofta).
Very delicious food with an authentic, homemade, feel to it. The lamb, the beef cooked so well they practically melt in the mouth. Very friendly staff too on the phone or in person. Will go again for sure.
The food is beyond delicious, cooked fresh and served hot. I would highly recommend to try at least once. I had the Kabuli pilao with raisins and carrots with lamb kabab. Truly mouth watering. Im giving it 4 starts because it’s very expensive for what it is.
After my excellent first experience with them, I decided to call them for a catering for 30 people. I got a quote of $300 for JUST the rice with carrots and raisins. It comes up to $10/person for the rice only.
I ended up hiring someone else for the catering.
This resto tops everything in terms of food. Quality home cooked food that is absolutely delicious!! We took some to go as there was a snow storm outside and the owners wanted to leave. They were gracious to fulfill our order before heading out! I am deducting one star however because it's a tad bit expensive for what you get. The portion of the curry I received was extremely small for the price and left me feeling hungry. Mind you, we paid close to $65 for 2 people. There was a very unequal balance of rice to the curry. Unfortunately I felt a bit ripped off, but maybe it's a one off thing. You'll see in the images the qabuli qorma red sauce in the container with the rice, that is $15,50. My advice to the owners would be to be more generous with the food. And also, if they write a cookbook, I will definitely buy it!
I don't usually write reviews, but Aryana is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal! It is not expensive at all for really good sized portions - I have always left completely stuffed. The eggplant and Mantoo appetizers are to die for and I love the family atmosphere. In terms of service - my waiter was excellent, very friendly and attentive. If you're looking to try a new restaurant - I would highly recommend checking Aryana out!
Family-owned restaurant with amazing service and even more delightful food!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Afghan experience. I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. Will definitely come back if presented with an opportunity.
