Our first time at Bistro Nolah, but definitely not our last. Service was excellent and our meal was one of the best we've had in any Montreal restaurant. Crab cakes, shrimp gumbo, shrimp jumbalaya and Mississippi mud pie, all simply delicious. Highly recommend Bistro Nolah!

WOW! Ohhhh so good. I finally went last night with a cousin of mine. We promised each other we would try this place together. It's a real treat to have such amazing food quality, presentation and taste, right here in the west island. The shrimp and grits were sinfully delicious and the catfish was equally as good. We also tried the crab cakes. They were classic, traditional and perfectly cooked. Our server explained everything to perfection. We had such a nice experience. Will definalty be back.

Excellent service, excellent ambiance and even better food! Had the cocktail Dark & Stormy, two apps (grilled octopus and the shrimp gumbo) and the beignets. Tried my friend's grits and duck magret, these were great too! If I had to give some sort of "criticism," I'd say my grilled octopus was a TAD (really, just a tad) dry. Otherwise, I can't wait to go back!

First visit for the brunch. Will go back for a dinner. Great food, service and atmosphere. I'm not a fish fanatic and I fell for the catfish tacos

Went for a birthday dinner. Food was fabulous!! Hushpuppies complementary then crab cakes and grilled octopus. Shrimp creole with jambalaya was to die for. No room for dessert. We will be back.

My husband and I went here for a date night. We previously had their food for takeout during the pandemic and I should say taking out food didn’t do justice to the food as opposed to dining in and having the full NOLA experience —brought back great memories from my Nola trip. Appetizers were great and in generous portions. Cocktails were very good! Wine list was concise/small but very well picked and the ones we had paired very well with our food. May it be seafood or meat, everything tasted so good! This was amazing fine dining food full of flavour. Would definitely come here again!

What a nice discovery in the West Island! We tried this place on Saturday night, first off the restaurant is small and cozy. Beautiful New Orleans decor. Manager (or waiter) was very friendly, fully bilingual, as it was our first time here he explained the menu and recommended a few things. We had the fried chicken and shrimp gumbo as appetizers. The portions and big Southern size ! Then as main we had the beef and Mac&Cheese. The food was very good, I definitely recommend the Fried Chicken! Will come back to try other dishes 👌🏽

Great service!! The waitress really took her time to explain their specials and their menu. Their entrees are delicious and very filling, we took almost half of our main dish to go because we were full. I had the shrimp and grits and absolutely loved it!

A culinary New Orleans Cajuan jewel of a restaurant located in West Island. Every dish is an explosion of several flavors for you to explore. The coctails must try. Friendly staff. Reserve in advance. You will not regret the culinary journey the chef is offering.

My favourite restaurant in Montreal. My boyfriend and I go every time we visit and we are never disappointed. The menu is small but top quality with a wide selection from comforting Mac and cheese to the complex flavor palate of scallop ceviche. A focus on sea food with New Orleans spices. Small quaint atmosphere. Caring servers.

Thoroughly enjoyed this Cajun resto! We definitely don’t have much like it in Montréal so was a nice treat. We ordered the Mac and cheese starter, which was big/rich enough to be a dinner portion and was amazing! The shrimp and grits were really tasty and the roast on mash was very good too. Even the butter was really good that accompanied the rolls! The decor was super cute and gave a nice garden vibe despite being at the edge of a parking lot. Felt totally tucked away and in a garden.

I was visiting my family and we decided we'd eat here on my last night there. The food was amazing as well as the service. If I could rate more than 5 stars I definitely would. I'll most certainly try more from the menu when I next visit. Keep up the good work and Dankeschön all the way from Germany 🇩🇪

What a great experience. If you like Cajun style food and want something different this restaurant needs to be on your list. Everything was good...crab cakes, jambalaya, brisket, shrimp and the dessert, a deep fried peach, was off the charts unique and delicious. Really good team work by the staff as well, congrats!
